Chasing My Pregnant Wife

Chapter 931

Theodore had reached out to local forces in Melrine. He knew that to locate Rosalie effectively, he needed their help. They were familiar with the area and typically well-resourced. They also had strong underground connections and extensive intelligenceworks.

Furthermore, SK Enterprise's business in Melrine was huge, so they maintained connections with various local factions across the regions. They retrieved surveillance footage across Orego.

Though they located the car Rosalie had been driving, they couldn't find where it ultimately ended up.

The surveillance in Orego wasn't comprehensive. Cameras were primarily installed in places like commercial centers, government buildings, important sites, and transit hubs to ensure safety. Residential areas, remote locations, or sparsely populated areas had low or no camera coverage. Their only option was to analyze the available footage and search different locations based on possible leads.

Though they didn't know exactly where Rosalie had gone, one thing was certain-she had indeed gone missing. Her phone was no longer reachable, and the car she was driving had also disappeared. A woman going missing in a foreign country was a terrifying prospect, and there was no telling what horrors she might face.

Theodore had been searching for her tirelessly day and night. There were vast stretches of uninhabited land in Melrine, along with many desert areas. People who were murdered might be buried there, making it nearly impossible for others to find.

He couldn't bear to think of such an outcome. If anything happened to Rosalie, he didn't want to live either.

Currently, they were searching in a remote desert area, following the possible direction Rosalie's car had taken. It was just one of many potential sites, but they had no choice but to search each one thoroughly.

The team was using detection devices to scan the desert, looking for anything suspicious that might be buried beneath the sand.

Amid the unending desert, Theodore moved urgently, as if he were a lost soul. His eyes flickered with anguish and worry. He looked as worn and weathered as a desert rock, his skin dried and cracked like withered leaves. His lips were bleeding from dryness, and his body swayed unsteadily.

A foreign man approached, handing him a bottle of water. "Mr. Spencer, have some water."Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.

Theodore desperately needed hydration. He had gone nearly forty-eight hours without rest. Unscrewing the cap, he took a few rapid gulps, drinking so fast he started coughing.

The man patted him on the back immediately. "You need to get some sleep; you can't keep going like this. We'll continue the search."

"No, I'm not sleeping. I have to find her!" Theodore insisted.

"Mr. Spencer, I understand how important she is to you, but if you collapse, it'll be even harder to find her. Get some rest in the car; we'll keep looking and notify you the moment we find anything.

Over the past forty-eight hours, they had searched extensively without finding any trace of Rosalie. The desert was vast, and they didn't know how much longer it would take. Once they finished this area, they would have to move to the next one, but for now, both the car and Rosalie were still missing.

Theodore staggered, feeling his strength slipping. He knew he needed to rest to continue. Only by staying alive could he keep searching. If he didn't make it, they surely would stop looking.

He handed the bottle back to the man and stumbled toward the nearby vehicle.
