Chasing My Pregnant Wife

Chapter 683

"Theo, Theo! Where are you?"

Rosalie stood in pitch-black darkness, so much so that she couldn't even see her fingers. She started to run for her life, but the end was nowhere in sight.

"Theo, where are you?"

Suddenly, she saw a blinding flash of white light. There Theodore was, standing right before her.

The moment she saw Theodore, her anxious face gave way to joy. "Theo!"

She ran toward him with all the energy she could muster-but she realized that the faster she ran, the further Theodore seemed to be from her. She couldn't close the gap between them.

"Theo, what's going on? Don't move, will you? Let me go to you, please!"

Rosalie continued running toward him, but as she did so, Theodore started fading away and the darkness returned.

"Theo, where are you? Where did you go? Where are you? Theo, make some noise, won't you? Theo!"

"Rosalie Young."

Suddenly, a voice came from behind; Rosalie turned around, to see Theodore standing around ten meters behind her.

“Theo.”

She was about to run toward him again, but he yelled, "Don't come here!"

Rosalie stopped in her tracks, standing right where she was with a frightened look on her face.

"Theo, I miss you so much. How are you? Are you alright?"

Theodore suddenly laughed. It wasn't his usual laughter, but a sardonic one. "Do you actually care whether I'm alright?"

"No, Theo! Hear me out!"

"What are you going to tell me? About why you chose Sebastian and gave up on me, is that it?"

"No, I didn't give up on you! I didn't!" Rosalie said through tears. "I had no choice at that time. If I had a choice, I would have chosen myself! Please, I'm begging you!"

"What are you begging me for?" Theodore questioned.

"I'm begging you... I'm begging you..." Rosalie suddenly didn't know what she was pleading for. Her mind went blank; she couldn't say a word, suddenly feeling tongue-tied.

Theodore sneered, "You don't even know what you're begging me for, but you're begging so desperately. What a joke. Rosalie Young, I'm thoroughly disappointed in you!"

"No, no! Theo!" Rosalie ran toward him in agitation, but Theodore disappeared again the moment she tried to reach for her.

"Theo!" She turned around, and found Theodore behind her again.

She wanted to run toward him, but was worried that he might disappear again.

She suppressed the urge to

approach him, and said, “Theo, I'm

sorry, I really am. It's my fault. He told me that one of you would get injured, and I really had no choice. If I didn't make a choice, both of you would have to die. He'd kill both of you! I'm sorry, I'm really sorry!"

"So you chose Sebastian and made me suffer! Rosalie Young, is that how much you hate me? You hate me so much, you want me dead?

"No, that's not it!" Rosalie denied, racked with sobs. "Theo, I don't want you dead. I've never wanted you dead! I was wrong, Theo, I was so wrong!"

"It's too late!" Theodore said

miserably. "Rosalie Young, it's all tooCopyright Nôv/el/Dra/ma.Org.

late. The moment you chose Sebastian, you lost the right to apologize to me! I'm dead, and you caused my death. My body, my heart, my soul-they're all dead!"

"Theo, you won't die! You won't!"

"I'm dead. Look."

Theodore's chest started bleeding profusely, dyeing his white shirt a deep red. Blood kept gushing forward, making for a piercing sight to Rosalie.

"No, you're not. Theo, don't, don't!"

Rosalie lurched toward him like a madwoman.

"Don't, please. Theo, don't die, don't die! You can't die!"

"Rose, Rose! Wake up!"

Yvonne shook Rosalie's shoulders hard.

Rosalie's eyes flew open.
