CEO's Tears Over Pregnancy Test Discovery

Chapter 806

Nina's eyes widened in shock, feeling as if she were in a dream. She was frozen, unable to react, as Nash parted her lips and claimed her breath with a deep, passionate kiss.

He wrapped his arms around her waist, holding her tightly as if afraid she might slip away again. Through his embrace, he poured out his longing and deep affection.

He had missed her so much. In every dangerous moment, it was the thought of her that gave him the will to survive.

Nina felt the intensity of his emotions and didn't resist. she wrapped her arms around his broad back and kissed him back with equal fervor.

She closed her eyes, overwhelmed with emotion, and tears began to well up. A single tear escaped, which Nash gently wiped away with his thumb as he continued to kiss her passionately. Words were unnecessary. His actions spoke clearly of his love for her.

She didn't even remember how they made it into his tent. When she regained her senses, Nash was laying her gently on the bed.

She clung to him, looking into his fiery eyes, both of them breathing heavily. Nina's hands held his head as she gazed at him, her breath coming in quick gasps.

The meal Chana had prepared was long gone, leaving just the two of them in the tent. Rational thought slipped away from Nina. After everything they had been through and in the midst of such chaos, she felt they had to cherish the moments they still had together. She didn't know how long this fleeting time would last, but she was sure that she wouldn't regret it.

Nash's breathing was heavy, his body burning with heat. The veins in his hands stood out as he held her tightly. In a husky voice, he whispered in her ear, "This place could erupt into chaos at any moment. Please, stay within my sight. As long as you're with me, I can keep you safe."

When she had said that she did not want to be around where he was, it had thrown him into turmoil. He was afraid. Ever since she left for this foreign land, he hadn't slept peacefully, constantly worried about her safety. Danger lurked everywhere outside their homeland. He was terrified for her.

His soft plea hit Nina's heart, which she had tried so hard to keep hardened. She had vowed to stay strong, but now she felt herself breaking.

She held onto his neck, her eyes

locked onto his, and asked, "If you're so afraid of losing me, why did you push me away? Why did you give me all your assets? Were you planning to die?"

She was trying to understand his thoughts. She used to believe she knew him better than anyone, able to read his every look. But now, she couldn't fathom what was going through his mind. Why had he taken such extreme measures? Joining the military was one thing, but this seemed beyond that.

Nash couldn't meet her eyes. He held her tightly, resting his chin on her shoulder, unable to look at ber or even think about what she was saying. "Don't ask," he murmured.

Nina's heart ached with worry. Ever since he had left, she hadn't been able to relax. "Did you take my words to heart? Sometimes, I say things in anger that I don't mean." People would say hurtful things in moments of despair and anger, but they weren't always true. Her true wish was for him to be safe. She didn't want to lose him again.

Nash remained silent, lacking the courage to reveal the truth about his fate.

Rescuing Scott, was something he felt he had to do.

"It's okay. This is what I need to do," he said softly. "The people you care about will come back."

He hoped that Scott and Wilfred, would be there for Nina, ensuring she wouldn't feel alone in the future.

Nina clung to his sleeve, her voice trembling, "But what about you?"Material © NôvelDrama.Org.
