CEO's Tears Over Pregnancy Test Discovery

Chapter 688

Felix was just a bit slower.

James gave him a smug look, feeling proud of his quick reaction!

Inside, Nina was startled by their shouting. Flustered, she quickly pushed Nash away!

She then picked up her fork, pretending nothing had happened. Her face flushed red, and she dared not look up, hoping they had not noticed anything.

Nash, taken aback by the sudden push, stumbled back a couple of steps, surprised by Nina's strength.

He looked towards the door and saw the two men standing like watchmen, blocking the view.

Nash's face darkened with irritation, his sharp eyes fixing on them. His moment with Nina had been interrupted, and he was far from pleased.

James and Felix looked inside, seeing only the couple eating breakfast, completely unaware that they had just interrupted an intimate moment of them kissing. Nash's clothes were wrinkled due to the result of Nina's grip, making him look slightly disheveled.

As a straightforward man with little romantic experience, James did not catch on.

Instead, he offered helpfully, "Captain, you must have slept restlessly. Your clothes are a mess. Let me help you straighten them out!"

With good intentions, James approached, but Nash swiftly kicked him in the leg.

"Ouch!" James exclaimed, wincing from the pain. "Captain, why did you kick me?"

Felix, covering his mouth, tried to suppress his laughter, relieved he hadn't tried to help. James glared at Felix, almost ready to scold him. Nash coldly commanded, "You two, go run a hundred laps!"

Felix's smile vanished. "But Captain, why do I have to suffer for his mistake?"

Nash's eyes narrowed at Felix, "Make it a hundred and fifty for you."

Now, James felt a bit better.NôvelDrama.Org © 2024.

Felix looked like he was about to cry.

"Well, get going!" Nash commanded.

They could not disobey his orders. The weather was nice, but they had not expected to be punished as soon as they arrived. "Yes, Captain!"

They stood at attention, then marched out in an orderly manner to start their day's exercise.

Nina kept silent until they left, then asked, "Wasn't that a bit harsh?"

"It's just daily training. They'll be fine," Nash replied. They were already accustomed to such routines.

Seeing Nash prepare to change clothes, Nina knew he was leaving. "When will you be back?"

"Tonight. If you get bored, call your friends. I'll have someone protect you," he said gently.

"Okay." Nina then skillfully helped Nash straighten his clothes, just as she always did. It had become a routine for them.

"You don't need to fuss over me with your big belly," Nash said, concerned. "I can do it myself."

Nina looked at him and smiled. "I take pride in making sure my husband looks his best every day."

Nash chuckled, "Aren't you afraid someone might steal me away?"

Nina replied confidently, "Who would dare? If you were that easy to steal, you would have been gone long ago. But you belong to me and always come back home."

She was confident in their relationship. After seven years together, if he were the type to be swayed by beauty, he would have been surrounded by women. But he was disciplined and knew what he wanted. She had no worries.

After getting dressed, Nash was ready to leave.

Before heading out, he knelt down, kissed her

belly, and

"Daddy's 's going to work now. Be
