CEO's Tears Over Pregnancy Test Discovery

Chapter 1086

"Nash, something happened to Eugene here? How could this happen?" Nina pushed the door open and entered the office, seeing Nash reviewing the surveillance footage.

In a low voice, she asked, "What's going on? Wasn't this your doing?"

"You think I did this?" Nash asked, his eyes focused on the screen.

When he saw a shadowy figure moving near the tea room, he immediately called out to Nina, "Watch closely."

He didn't need to say it. Nina was already fixated on the figure on the screen. There was something oddly familiar about this person. They seemed to know the exact positions of the security cameras, showing only their back to the footage, with a baseball cap hiding any identifying features. Despite this, Nina couldn't shake the feeling that she knew this person.

The footage showed the figure entering the tea room and leaving confidently afterward. Somehow, they managed to avoid being seen by anyone.

"Does this person look familiar to you?" Nina voiced her suspicion.

Nash's expression grew darker as he switched the footage to the outside of the executive office, catching the figure entering the elevator. "This person is too bold," Nina gasped.

Walking away so brazenly. It had to be someone from within the corporation.

"I suggest we report this to the police. No matter who this person is, I won't tolerate it," Nina said, looking at Nash with concern.

Worried he might hesitate, she added, "If it's difficult for you to handle, I'll be the bad guy."

"No need." Nash couldn't bear the thought of her facing scrutiny.

Knowing she was only thinking of him, he kissed her cheek with a smile. "I'm better suited to be the bad guy. I'm much more handsome, after all." "Shameless."

"I've always been shameless in front of you, haven't I, my dear wife?"

After indulging in a moment of affection, Nash instructed the secretary to call the police. He and Nina then left for the hospital to check on Eugene.

To avoid any hassle from the

reporters, Nash had arranged for the

hospital to provide them with a separate entrance. When their car pulled into the alley, the hospital

director was waiting for them at the

door.

After a brief exchange of pleasantries, they made their way upstairs.

On the way, the director filled them in on Eugene's condition. Fortunately, it wasn't serious, though the Lowe family seemed to be taking the matter very seriously. Nash frowned. "Has the Lowe family made any statements?"

Although Eugene wasn't the eldest son, he had always been outstanding and was deeply favored by the elders of the Lowe family.

Otherwise, he wouldn't have been

able to live such a carefree life for so many years. Any other younger

family member would have been e

"Strangely, no one from the Lowe family has come by, though Eugene's mother did call me. She insisted that I take good care of him," the director said, puzzled. Nash, however, saw this as confirmation of the Lowe family's stance.

They were concerned, but they weren't going to act recklessly. Not until they had all the facts.

Nash speculated that the Lowe family was likely waiting for Eugene's reaction before deciding on their course of action.

If his guess was right, keeping Eugene calm would be their top priority. Unfortunately, he hadn't brought Zoe along. As soon as Nash thought of this, he cursed himself under his breath.

He realized he was becoming obsessed, constantly relying on Zoe to handle Eugene. This was clearly a form of manipulation. Even if he didn't want to admit it, that was the truth.

At the entrance to the hospital room,

the director excused himself, reminding them not to cause any misunderstandings inside, as he wouldn't be able to help them if things got out of hand.

Nash nodded and pushed the door open.

"Nash."

Eugene's weak voice greeted him, and Nash gave him a nod in return.
