Chapter 1071
As they talked, Nash knelt on one knee, offering the blue rose from his chest to Nina.
"Nina, I like you, I love you, and I will love you for a lifetime, even in the next life and the one after that. Will you let me care for you, cherish you, and adore you?"
His voice was gentle, every word hitting straight to her heart. Nina, already in tears, took the blue rose and nodded repeatedly.
It took her a while before she could finally whisper, "I do."
The moment she said those two words, Nash stood up and spun her around in a joyful embrace. At that moment, it felt as though time belonged only to them, and they simply listened to the sound of each other's heartbeats. "Since you said yes, open the rose," Nash whispered in her ear.
She gave him a curious glance and carefully parted the petals of the rose, revealing a ring nestled inside.
Nina gasped in surprise. "Nash, you really outdid yourself."
"Do you like it?" Nash asked with a smile. He had poured so much effort into this Valentine's Day, consulting countless people to make sure everything was perfect.
Nina beamed, "How could I not like it? Any woman would love this." She stood on tiptoes and gave Nash a quick kiss.
However, as she pulled away, he wrapped his arms around her waist, turning that kiss into something much more passionate.
Time seemed to stand still as they kissed, and when Nash finally let her go, Nina was almost breathless.
"You're terrible! I'm starving. Go get the waiter to bring us some food," Nina teased, using the excuse to break the lingering romantic tension.
Nash had prepared a special dinner, with every dish tied to the theme of Valentine's Day. The presentation and symbolism were so perfect that she couldn't give anything less than a perfect score.
Nina was certain no woman could resist such a thoughtful Valentine's celebration, but she was still a bit upset with Nash for leaving her feeling neglected lately. All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.
After dinner, she playfully asked, "Is that all you've got planned for tonight, Mr. York?"
"Of course not," Nash replied with a mischievous grin. "Why else do you think I asked Zoe to watch Orion? There's no way it ends here."
He playfully stole another kiss as he circled the table, earning a mock glare from Nina. But instead of being upset, he just laughed and pulled out two movie tickets from the roses on the table. "May I invite you to a movie?"
Blushing, Nina nodded shyly.
The cinema was packed, but luckily Nash had pre-booked tickets. Hez had even prepared drinks and snacks ahead of time, pulling them out like a magician as they took their seats.

The other couples couldn't help but envy Nina, who was now the center of attention.
"You're setting the bar way too high for the other guys," she teased, though she was clearly pleased.
By the time the movie ended, it was already late. Nina started to worry about Orion, so she texted Zoe, who reassured her to fully enjoy the night and let herself be loved.
Nina felt deeply grateful to Zoe.
Although Zoe was an elder, she
didn't act superior. Instead, she treated Nina like family, always. looking out for her. Nina made a mental note to never forget Zoe's kindness.
As they left the theater, Nash suggested they visit the carnival. Tonight's market would surely be different, with all sorts of activities geared towards couples.
Nina was excited. After all, it had been a while since she had felt so carefree.
"Just promise me you'll hold my hand the whole time. It's going to be crowded," she reminded him.
She wasn't wrong. Carnivals were always lively, and tonight was bound to be even busier.
