Inside an average looking bar that managed to host big shots and normal individuals, due to the management, activities, special services, and security, Joel could be seen discussing some things with Adam.

The club was filled with people, and through the VIP booth they were seated in, they could see how people were having a nice time through the transparent glass.

In front of them was a cream coloured table with 2 glasses of light yellow wines that still had half their content.

A waiter was at a standby to fill their glass once they were done.

One of the privileges of taking a VIP booth.

Also, a reason for the club to be well frequented by people.

They offer special service.

The waiter was a female who was dressed to seduce. They were only in charge of VIP customers and offered special services if the customer is interested.

She was asked to stay outside due to them having a private talk. Hence, both friends were left to their privacy.

They engrossed in a serious conversation.

Joel was doing most of the talking while Adam would occasionally ask him questions with a squinted gaze.

Finally, it looked like Joel was done.

“So, you couldn’t fall in love.” Adam stated, still confused.

Guilt twisted his stomach, and he blinked a few times.

“I don’t know why or what was happening to me. I was at some point scared that my interest would end up as men, but after my observation, I realized it’s the same thing.” Joel explained.

He was finally letting it out. His fear and the only worries he ever had.

He took a sip of his wine and spoke.

“And you feel that love for this sex coach? Are you sure you’re not just after her body?.” Adam asked.

Joel shook his head before downing the remaining content in his glass.

“I swear I have never felt this way before. Her image was all over my memory and dreams. You know I love sex but never freaked over who owns the body as long as she’s clean, looks appealing, and is ready to take my offer.” Joel said.

“To tell you the truth, I regretted the day I mocked you about being impotent. I felt like I framed you into promiscuity. And worse of it….” Adam couldn’t hold Joel’s gaze.

Looking at his friend’s sunken face, Joel chuckled.

“Worst of it all was that you were the one who told my mom back then.” Joel completed the line for him.

“Damn! You knew.” Adam cursed softly.

He had always felt like he nearly ruined his friend’s mentality back then and then bitch on him later.

But never knew Joel was aware and doesn’t mind it at all.

“Enough of that. I was glad I listened to you then, Adam. I wouldn’t have the courage to get closer to a woman and find out their body interests me.

And I’m glad you told my parents and made me take caution before it got worse. You did nothing wrong, so let’s focus on what I was telling you.” Joel told him and Adam smiled softly, finally free from the guilt he carried from a long time.

“So you were saying you feel something different for this new woman you knew less than 3 days ago and somehow she told you she couldn’t wait to see you?” Adam said with his brows slightly creased.

With an excited demeanor, Joel nodded his head.

“This doesn’t feel like love to me and neither does it looks like something that will end well. I’m worried now.” Adam voiced his thoughts and watched as Joel’s mood dropped.

Waving his hand, Adam tried to make him understand his point. “I’m not trying to make you feel bad. I understand how much it means to you, based on everything you told me today, but do you think she felt the same?

I mean, she’s a sex coach and you are one good looking dude who happened to send her half nude pictures that would have made her curious about your sexual capabilities.

This must just means sex to her and you might not like that someone that finally spark you up wasn’t taking you seriously.

That is if you’re really serious as you seem to be right now.” Adam expressed and Joel looked deep in thought for a few seconds.

So there’s a possibility that Nima was just looking forward to the sexual experience and them leave him after that.

First of all, he replied to his friend’s last sentence about how serious he was.

With his friend’s speculations, a light bulb lit in Joel’s head and he felt he knew what to do.

“Just don’t let a woman break you.”

That was the last advice from Adam before they moved to a different topic.

The waiter was allowed to join them in the booth, while they talked about work.

Adam revealed he only had 5 hours sleep in the last 3 days, which had tired him so much.

They talked about their net worth, which made Joel inwardly chuckled.

If Adam knew he was only catching up openly but couldn’t meet up with his wealth all together, he would definitely eliminate his competitive spirit.

They caught up on many other things and luckily for Joel who wishes to still have his buddy around, Adam would be staying for 3 month before traveling once again.

Adam soon had the waiter pleased him for the night, while Joel refused to take such service and went home.

He had his angel to think about.
