Boyfriend For Rent

Nathan POV

I stopped the car in front of her house, and without saying a word to me, she got rid of her seatbelt, and made to step out, when I held her back.

“What’s the problem Mr?” She glared at my hand, which was holding her down.

“Uhm… I’m…”

She yanked my hand away, before I could finish my statement, as she opened the door, and stepped out of the car, before banging the door behind her.

Letting out a soft sigh, I let my head dropped on the headrest, as I closed my eyes briefly. The scene from earlier came playing in my head like a movie, and I just couldn’t help, but thank God that I never tried starting any fight with her, she’ll sure beat me to pulp. After I witnessed what he did to the guy, I have made up my mind that I’m going to humble myself, and not get into trouble with her again. I don’t want her giving me the beatings of my life.

Turning my car around, I drove roughly out of the place, and soon, I was on my way home. It took me another ten minutes, before I finally got home, and went straight to the entrance door, as I placed a knock on it.

After what seemed like forever, the door finally opened, revealing Ivan, staring at me with a questioning look on his face.

“Did you check your time? I thought you’re in your room already.” He yawned tiredly, as he left the door opened for me. He looked like he’s been sleeping.Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.

“Where’s Nora?” I asked, as I slumped on the couch tiredly.

“The young lady seem like she’s angry about something. She came in looking sad, she should be in her room.” He replied, as he slumped on the couch.

Shit! I messed everything up, she should of course be angry at me. Anyways, I’ll take care of it by tomorrow, and I’m also gonna talk to Eve by tomorrow, but for now, I need to eat something, take my bath, and rest my head. I’m so damn tired.

“Did you make any food Ivan? I’m famished.” I yawned hungrily

“Yeah, I left some rice in the pot for you. It’s cold already, just microwave it, and the stew is also there. I’m going to sleep anyways, I got training tomorrow. Please wake me up by 5am for my workout, in case if my alarm don’t succeed in waking me up. Good night dude.” He said, as he stood up, before walking his way to the stairs.

I stood up and hurried to the kitchen to get the food. God! I’m going to die of hunger. As soon as I got inside the kitchen, I took the food and microwave it. After waiting for what seemed like forever, I finally collected the food from the microwave, before going to the dinning to do justice to it.

After I was done eating, I dragged my feet to my, and as soon as I stepped inside, I threw myself tiredly on the bed.

“I’ll bath tomorrow, but for now, let’s sleep.” I said sleepily, and closed my eyes, as I let sleep take over me….

Eve POV

The sound of my blaring alarm, jolted me out of my deep slumber, as I forced my eyes opened. I groaned angrily, and dragged myself off the bed, before making my way to the bathroom. It’s still very early, but I have to go for my morning workout. This is the life of a model, I wish I can spend forever on my bed, but that’s a dream that’ll never come through for me. I think I’ll get some sleep after my workout.

I got dressed for my exercise, before leaving. I think I’ll have to go do some running first, and after that, I can go visit the gym.

Stepping out of the house, I locked my door, before finally leaving, and soon, I was jogging down the road tirelessly. After jogging for what seemed like forever, I stopped to get some rest, when my phone came ringing.

I pressed the headphone, which was already on my head.

“Hey Eve!” Nina’s voice came on. Finally!

“Hey what’s up Nina? I’ve been calling you since yesterday, but you never picked up. Is everything alright?” I asked worriedly, as I breath heavily.

“Sorry, I slept off quite early yesterday, coupled with there’s an asshole that got on my nerves on my way home yesterday, so I dealt with him. You needed to have seen the look on his face when I dealt with him.” She chuckled, like a superhero.

“Must you always fight Nina? I told you it’s dangerous, fighting guys, but you wouldn’t listen. What if he had hurt you?” I rolled my eyes, and started jogging again, but this time, slowly.

“Whatever! Not that I’m different from you though. We’re both badass, so stop making me look like I’m the only one in this.” She said sarcastically, and I bet she rolled her eyes. She’s right, I’m a badass like her, but I don’t risk my life.

“I was expecting that anyways. So, are you coming over today? I have an appointment with a company in two days, and it’s really gonna be a jackpot. I need you to helpe out with some things, you know Harry can’t do everything.” I said.

“Sure, I’ll there, but make sure I don’t see that asshole in your house, coz I’m gonna kill him if I set my eyes on him. He’s on my bad side already.” She huffed, sounding angry. Nina is always dramatic. Only God knows what’s going on between her and my crush.

“Cmon let this go already Nina, Nathan is a nice guy, trust me.” I said, as I stopped to tie my shoelace.

“Whatever! Not that I care, just tell him to stay away, while I’m there.” She said, with seriousness in her voice.

“Ok fine! I’ll do that.” I gave in.

“Good! Anyways, I’ll be there in an hour or two, I got something to take care of here. Bye.” She said, and ended the call, even before I could say a word.

“Crazy girl.” I smiled, and dusted my hand, before standing up, but flinched and almost screamed, as I was welcomed with a pair of grey eyes…
