Chapter 4 Please Let Him Go
Chapter 4 Please Let Him Go
Aleena hurriedly begged for mercy, but it was too late. The people called by Spencer had already
arrived.
Travis got pale on face, but he still protected Aleena behind him.
"Don't beg him, Aleena. I'll be all right..."
Aleena shook her head. Before she said anything, the two men in black rushed in and seized Travis.
The violently pressed him on the floor.
Spencer looked at him coldly. He was tall but cold on face. He said, "Ruin him!"
"Don't..." Regardless of everything, Aleena rushed over and knelt at the feet of Spencer, looking up
with tears at him, "Spencer, Travis has nothing to do with our grudge, please let him go......"
Drooping eyes, Spencer coldly stared at Aleena and his words were cruel, “Beat him!"
"No..." Aleena widened his eyes and watched Travis was beat to bleed by the two men.
He was such a gentle man, but she had got him into troubles.
Aleena was crying. She knelt down on the ground weakly, feeling regretful.
Travis's cries echoed in her mind and she kept crying and apologizing.
"I'm sorry, Travis, it was I who brought you into trouble, I'm sorry, it's all my fault..."
Travis with faint breathing was thrown to the floor.
His face was pale and there was cold sweat on his forehead out of pain. Obviously he was dying.
But forced a smile, looking at Aleena weakly and comforted her softly, “Aleena, I am ok. It is not your
fault, it is my fault. I promised to take you away, but now...... I'm afraid I will fail to do it." Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org exclusive © material.
Aleena burst into tears.
"Travis......"
Spencer's face was so gloomy and his breath was so cold. Every of his words were sharp as an ice
blade.
"Dare you flirt with my wife in front of me? Travis, I think I should pull out your tongue!" He lifted his
hand as he finished speaking.
It looked like he was going to ask his men to do that.
“No!” Aleena shouted out, knelt to the feet of Spencer. In order to protect Travis, she abandoned all
dignity.
She kowtowed to and beg Spencer,, "Spencer, please let go of Travis. I will do whatever you want!
Don't you want me to apologize to Rosalie? I will do it! Even if you ask me to be Rosalie's dog, I will do
it, as long as you let Travis go!"
With a sneer, Spencer bent over, pinched the neck of Aleena and picked her up.
Her breath was restrained, Aleena flushed, looking ferocious and subconsciously struggling.
"Rosalie's dog? Aleena, are you not a dog of mine? The cheapest one!"
Aleena’s eyelashes fluttered, and her tear slid down.
So she was just a dog of his?
The cheapest dog...
No wonder, during the year of their marriage, he had taken no mercy on her. Because in his eyes, she
was not even human!
It was so cruel.
Spencer, was there anyone crueler than you in this world?
Aleena with tears looked at Travis who has broken his legs and was dying on the ground. She then
closed her eyes.
"Yes, I am..."
She accepted whatever Spencer said, as long as she now no longer caused trouble to Travis.
"Disgusting!” Spencer looked disgusted and threw Aleena on the floor.
He was still commanding, nobel and cold.
"Take Travis away."
Hearing that, the two men in black immediately dragged Travis out of the room.
"What else do you want, Spencer?" cried Aleena, hurrying after him, "Stop! Let him go!".
"Aleena, go one step further, I will stamp a finger of Travis."
Aleena suddenly froze.
"Remember what you have just said. From now on, you are an obedient dog. If let me find out again
you have thought that you shouldn't have, the consequence would be doubled to Travis!"
