Bittersweet Arrangements : A Sugar Dady Affair

“Jeremy, you’re being noisy!” Vanessa reprimanded upon hearing Jeremy’s loud exclamation.

“Honey, did you hear what El just said?” Jeremy said, now in a panic while sitting. It was like a thunderbolt struck his room when those words freely rolled off Elena’s lips.

“Hmmmm,” Vanessa mumbled, indifferent.

“Honey, El slept with Devan. Can’t you hear what she said!” Jeremy frustratedly exclaimed, as his wife remained unmoved, while Elena, who was currently sleeping between them, just stared at Jeremy in confusion.

“Listen, Jeremy, just let it be!” Vanessa responded in a hoarse voice. “Stop making noise! Mommy’s tired. If you want to talk, go outside!” Vanessa’s casual words successfully left Jeremy puzzled. He couldn’t believe Vanessa acted so indifferent upon hearing that their daughter slept with Devan, their close friend.

“Honey?” Jeremy spoke again, only to irritate Vanessa. His wife then got up from the bed, taking a pillow to the sofa. Vanessa immediately lay down on the sofa and closed her eyes, ignoring whatever Jeremy and Elena would do. Daddy and daughter, both overly dramatic and exaggerated every time they responded to something.

“Daddy is noisy. That’s why Mommy’s sulking,” Elena said, still unaware that all of this happened because of her actions.

On the king size bed, Elena’s hands moved to look for the person who had hugged her. Not finding Jeremy beside her, Elena suddenly opened her eyes. Then he turned his gaze towards the sofa where Mommy had been.

“Daddy, Mommy,” Elena muttered as she scanned all corners of the room looking for the whereabouts of her parents.
