Chapter 25: Undeniable Proof
“That, I think you won’t believe it if you tell me.” Emma chose her words to avoid inciting Gavin. She was concerned that he would attack her: “But I think that person is fully motivated to do so. That person really hates me, wants to separate me from you.”
Before Emma’s roundabout three kingdoms. Alden was impatient, asking her to get to the main issue so that he could handle it quickly and leave early. Freed from a space polluted by her.
“Speak quickly if you have something to say. Who is it?” Alden calmly asked, “Stop playing the front-and-back fence. Who do you think is capable of doing such a disgusting thing, tell me. I’ll make that person suffer the worst outcome.”
Emma smiled triumphantly to herself when she was able to get Alden to listen to her. Looking at his impatient, relentless urge, she felt gloating when she imagined Gavin’s doomsday had come. The taste of victory was so wonderful that she was a bit subjective. But then just in case, she had to probe first before she dared to speak. This is property © of NôvelDrama.Org.
“I promise you won’t get mad.” Emma suggested, posing as a generous person, looking for ways to help the person who harmed her: “I dare say.”
Do you think people will be moved by her noble deed? Oh my god, Gavin smiled scornfully. Not only him, but Alden was also equally nauseated. Devlin herself, her ally, now turns to everyone else and finds her terrible.
“Who is?” Alden repeated sternly: “I will make that man pay dearly.”
Alden acted exactly the way Emma wanted. She said that for the enemy, she just wanted Alden to punish him severely. Her contrasting way of speaking was originally based on Alden’s personality that was formed. Emma uses that special feature of Alden to make him deal with Gavin. Indeed, she felt happy to borrow Alden’s hand to deal with Gavin.
Energized by Alden, Emma did not hesitate any longer, openly revealing the identity of her greatest enemy.
“Apart from Gavin and Mom, no one has a grudge against me wanting you to leave me,” Emma announced eloquently, causing Gavin to smirk. Devlin clapped his hands on his forehead, really speechless at Emma’s inconsiderate attitude. She also blatantly regarded the sky with a swing.
Seeing Alden’s unsettling silence, she ventured to add fuel to the fire.
“Alden, don’t you think so? You have to get justice for me. I don’t expect much, just ask you to tell Gavin a word to respect me. After all, you are my wife, Gavin’s sister-in-law.”
Emma made a pitiful look. There were a few crocodile tears that had just fallen. Her words ended just in time for the banging of the table Alden made, startling Emma in horror. Alden was so angry that he couldn’t help but hurt his own hand.
“How dare you slander my brother?” Alden grumbled: “Is it true that a woman can only eat without saying yes, and lays claim to slander.”
“I said from the start that you wouldn’t believe me. But that is absolutely true. Gavin has threatened and forced me to break up with you many times. The day I went to the hospital, it was he who prevented me from going in to see you. Alden, tell me, given everything Gavin has done, what is this slander worth? Who, I’m sure dares to do such a terrible thing.”
“You shut your mouth for me.” Alden growled: “Another insult to Gavin. I will cut your tongue.”
“Why do you only defend your family and don’t trust your wife?” Emma cried and cried: “You’re clearly unfair like that. You heard your relatives ask for a divorce from me. Can’t you just abandon me, abandon an unborn child like that? Alden, I didn’t expect you to be such a wretched person.”
Instantly, the cup of tea on the table flew towards Emma. Fortunately for her, he couldn’t see anything so the direction was wrong, or else her face would have had a few lacerations, highlighting her despicable beauty.
“Alden Helen, how dare you?” Emma screamed, using the excuse to accuse him of assaulting his wife: “What did I say wrong? You want to kill me and the baby because everything I say is true?”
“Let me tell you, it is your attitude that will end things with no mercy for you,” Alden emphasized. He calmed down thanks to Gavin’s help. His brother was able to hold onto his shoulders in time to avoid agitation.
“What do you mean?” Emma asked back: “Are you determined to divorce me?”
“Do you know who took the video?” Alden spoke to her kindly, ignoring Emma’s smug attitude: “Time to close the show, Emma. Right now, I’m just playing with you. It feels so good like you’ve been doing to me every day for the past two years.”
“Alden.” Emma suddenly felt a chill, her wild nature suddenly disappeared. Now she looked like a turtle threatened to hide in its shell.
“I filmed it myself.” Alden said slowly, making Emma dumbfounded, her eyes wide and unblinking: “You know, the day I got into an accident. I forgot my bag and called my lovely, beautiful wife, but she didn’t answer. When I got home, I heard groans and pleas. For a moment I thought I had witnessed one of the heinous crimes committed against my poor wife. But no, she enjoyed it, she begs for more. Now answer me, Emma, whose child is the child?”
“If you want to take the video for analysis to check the authenticity, I am willing to comply with your wishes.” Alden curled his lips coldly and said, “I know how to indulge your every wish, remember?”
That was it, Emma’s dream vanished. Harsh reality had come to make her suffer the worst. But will that be the end or will she continue her evil, cruel tricks?
“Alden, it’s not like that, I…” Emma didn’t know when kneeling in front of Alden. She held his hand begging, but he coldly pushed her hand away.
“Don’t touch me with that dirty hand. She has no qualifications.” Alden shouted at her, then turned to Gavin: “Give her the divorce papers to sign. None of her conditions were met. If she resists, release the video.”
“Alden, please respect our friendship over the years. Above all, I took care of you at the hospital.” Emma again uses humiliation to escape. But this time was more than enough, Alden’s reason had returned to him, so there was no way to be convinced.
Without saying another word, Alden decisively pushed Emma away from him. The push was so rough that she fell to the floor.
“Emma, I warn you to stay away from Alden from now on. Maybe her life just passed smoothly.” Gavin pointed straight at her and declared: “If you know what to do, sign the divorce papers, or I will make you forever unable to raise your head.”
Saying this, he turned to Devlin: “And if you want to preserve your reputation, especially your law degree, do you advise her? Tell the two of you, don’t be foolish enough to touch Helen’s house. This time it’s just a warning, next time say goodbye to your beautiful life.”
With that, Gavin led the way and led Alden out of the stuffy room until now.
Emma cried loudly, making Devlin just helplessly watch.
