Chapter 32
Goden Bran pulled out his phone and dialed Ava. “The number you phoned was off…” said a frigid voice on the other end.
“Has Ava Lins returned?” he questioned again at home.
Goden Bran untied his knot. He was scared as well as guilty.
Why didn’t she return? What happened?
He exited the ward and opened the door to see Belli Tannu seated outside.
Belli Tannu’s eyes became redder and her face was still wet when she saw him. She stood up and embraced him silently.
“Is Grandma okay?”
”
“I was terrified, but you were busy, so I had to wait.” Goden, I was worried about my grandmother. She was still talking with me in the afternoon, what happened? ”
“It’s OK,” he said, soothingly patting her back.
“I’ll ask the driver to take you home, and don’t let your mind run wild,” he said.
“And you?”
“I’ll guard here,” he said, hoping he could find Ava Lins right now.
“I’ll go with you.”
“You didn’t have to. Rest, or my heart would hurt.”
Belli Tannu’s heart melted as she heard this and said, “Alright, I’ll phone you when I get home.”
When Belli Tannu left, Goden Bran proceeded towards the parking lot, holding his phone and dialing Ava’s number.
Goden Bran went to the car, and drove away.
She hadn’t even returned to her old flat; where could she go?
Could it be that he was with Jeorge Milton?
Doubts develop like moss in the spring.
He searched for her for a long time without success, and when grandma became sick, he had to return to the hospital.
As he approached the ward’s entrance, he heard a familiar voice.
He could see Ava through the door’s gap.
“Grandmother, you truly frightened me to death today,” she muttered angrily as she sat by her grandmother’s bedside. Luckily, you’re OK.”
Grandma was still sleeping on the bed.
“Grandma, sometimes I truly feel exhausted,” Ava said chokedly, holding Grandma’s hand. Why do you believe humans must live? Something constantly weighs me down, making it difficult to breathe. I’m not sure how to get out of this one. ”
“I used to believe I’d be happy as long as I married the Goden. But it’s exhausting to love someone so much I can’t stand him.”
Goden Bran’s hands froze in the air after hearing those words, and he hopelessly drooped down.
He felt dragged.
He didn’t go in, but sat alone outside, smoking in solitude.
“Mr. Why didn’t you go in? ”Ccontent © exclusive by Nô/vel(D)ra/ma.Org.
Ava, confused by the voice outside, went out .
The four of them glanced at each other, r.
Ava softly closed the door and left.
“I was sorry for what I said today and my comments were a touch excessive,” hesaid after a long sigh.
“I’m sorry,” he replied eventually, after a lengthy quiet.
Ava was surprised at the shame and apologies in his gaze.
she nearly sobbed when he said ‘I’m sorry’.
“I’ll go back first,” she said, lowering her head . I’ll return tomorrow with Grandma.”
Ava had been taking excellent care of her grandmother for a few days and had avoided Goden Bran to avoid thinking about it.
Maybe her heart was still a little sour.
She was stingy even though he had apologized, since she remembered his violent reprimand that day.
Not all regrets are forgiven.
Ava Lins had no idea she was so petty, but she was bored for a few days.
She wouldn’t come or stay with him because he was sick.
Even at home, she regarded him as if he was nothing, his face blank…
He awoke early to assist his grandmother cook the porridge for the hospital.
He stepped down the steps and noticed her standing in front of the counter, dressed appropriately for the interview, despite the modest black and white clothing.
A magnificent emotion flooded his heart at that moment…
Since she didn’t even lift her head to look at him, he coughed a few times to get her attention.
Surprisingly, she didn’t care.
“Cough, cough…”
He coughed.
She poured the porridge in the thermal container.
“Is it porridge?” he questioned, his heart heavy with sorrow.
“Yes.”
“Any other?”
Ava dropped her eyes and said, “No.”
So she packed her bags and prepared to depart.
Goden Bran suddenly felt entirely neglected.
In the past, she would have asked him what he wanted to eat with a grin.
“Ava,” he said, stepping forward to hold her hand.
“Hmm?”
“Please don’t do this to me.””
“Then what do I want?” Ava said coldly.”
“If it was in the past, you wouldn’t be so cold to me, and you wouldn’t care what I said to you these last few days,” I have apologized for what occurred last time, are you still enraged? ”
She wasn’t a saint, so why did she have to totally forgive him every time?
“You also said it was previous,” she responded coldly, her tongue refusing to accept it.
In the past you were my spouse, but now you are my ex. Is it crucial how I treat you? ”
“I still have to grab something for Grandmother, don’t waste my time,” Ava said, knowing he was dumbfounded.
“Wait, I’m going too.”
He added, meaning to question her about work.
“Then give it to granny,” Ava said, handing him the bag. I have work to do therefore I won’t go.”
She then fled in a hurry, as though she feared being caught up.
“Ava Lins!”
He yelled, but she didn’t respond.
Looking behind him, he felt he had failed.
People frequently said that the greatest way to forget about love was to remain away from them.
Ava sat on the bus, looking over the city, wondering if she should be furious or vengeful, or whether she should just avoid Goden Bran.
She was astonished to meet Jeorge Milton at the interview firm.
He had just got out of the elevator and was chatting to people as he went.
She couldn’t escape it.
She could only walk ahead with her head down.
Ava hoped he didn’t see her.
How did she know that as Jeorge Milton approached the spinning door, he twisted his head to look behind her, but his dark eyes were also smiling.
