Anna’s point of view

The dancing was really active about eight o’clock in the evening.

At the ball, I wore a water blue flowing dress with a lovely necklace.

It did, indeed, become the ball’s focal point.

“Miss Anna, isn’t she a well-known international designer? She came all the way here.”

“You know, she’s becoming very well-known. Any jewelry that is released can draw fans from all around the world.”

“It’s a shame she only releases one model each year and sells one item. Although the asking price is unusually expensive, many fans are nonetheless enthralled by it!”

“Wow!”

I felt pleased with myself, but I maintained a polite and respectable demeanor.

“Can I take a picture with you, Miss Anna?”

“I’ve been a fan of yours for a long time! Is it possible for you to sign a signature for me?”

“Take a close look at the necklace you’re wearing, Miss Anna. Is this a brand-new model that will be available soon?”

The door slammed open, and two women entered with a thud. One of them was dressed in a  skirt dotted with various colored flowers, a wreath on her head, and a one-of-a-kind necklace around her neck. She looked to be a flower fairy who had arrived in the world at this moment.

“What is the name of the jewelry she is wearing? It’s just stunning!”

“God, it’s stunning, lovely, and delightful.”

“She appeared with Gemma of the lion group. Isn’t she also the lion group’s designer?”

“Wasn’t it the one who took first place the last time?”

“Oh, my God, she’s stunning!”

It was the first time I had been taken out of the spotlight. With arrogant look, I raised my eyes and glanced at the woman.

Trista’s point of view

“Miss, did Miss Anna make your necklace? Although it appears to be her style, she never uses shattered diamonds.” A female guest who was familiar with Anna approached and asked.

“This is my amended version,” I said lightly.

Do I have the right to change it because Donald gave it to me as a gift?

Everyone was taken aback!

“Are you the lion group’s designer?”

“Will this redesigned necklace be sold under the lion group’s name? Is it possible to schedule five pieces with you ahead of time?”

“I’d want ten as well.”

“Do you believe Miss Anna’s original design isn’t quite right? So you’re changing it without permission?”

“You are a clever and versatile. Do you want to be a part of our team? Despite the fact that we cannot compare to the lions, you will be completely satisfied with the treatment…”

“I’m wondering if you could create some jewelry for me. The cost isn’t an issue…”

As time went on, more and more people gathered. I smiled and talked as I picked up my wine glasses and touched them one by one.

A woman approached with a glass of wine in her hand. “Are you the lion group’s new designer?”

As soon as she got close enough, I recognized her.

“Are you Anna?” . I grinned. “Your work has always appealed to me. Every year, the jewelry you present brightens people’s eyes.”

“I sold the jewels to Donald, the executive director of your company. Except for him, I’m the only one in the world who has it. What store did you get the jewelry from? Change it without my permission. Are you challenging me ?”

“Trista doesn’t mean to offend you, Miss Anna. She simply believes that this jewelry may be better with moodified version , so she changed it today. Do you agree that this necklace is more attractive?” Gemma got up and walked over to me to assist me.

”  You are not qualified to speak with me.” Anna snarled at Gemma and confidently swept the crowd.

“Everyone in the room can tell that this jewelry is better with my design. After being modified, Miss Trista’s jewelry has lost its original charm. One year, I only launched one. She has shown a great deal of disrespect for me and this jewelry by squandering my efforts.”

“I apologize for offending you; it was not my intention. Your work has always appealed to me. I apologize if you misunderstood me.” I really apologize, but I did not anticipate –

“You have had a significant impact on my mood at the banquet today. Sorry for the inconvenience. Please accept my apologies.” Several responsible people heard Anna’s dissatisfied voice and immediately came.

“It’s reasonable for Mr. Donald to take this jewelry to his designer because you sold it to him.”

“If you are upset. I’ll ask the musicians to perform a song for you so that you can relax .”

“You’ve come all the way and haven’t seen the highlight of tonight.”

“I understand why you allowed me to stay. Sorry for the inconvenience. I’m not going to work with anyone in this life.” Anna whispered something to me and stared at me. “If you want to point the finger at someone, point it at her.”

Everyone turned their gaze to me as soon as her voice dropped silent, angry, resentful, sympathetic, and dissatisfied.

I know that Anna is using me as an excuse. There are many people who want to work with Anna and purchase Anna’s jewelry? Now she uses me as an excuse to refuses these low-level vendors,.

That’s an excellent strategy!

“Please Miss Anna.” I stated,

I stated, Why don’t the visitors say something? Allow the guests to decide on which jewelry they prefer, as Miss Anna insists that my efforts have damaged your attempts.”Copyright by Nôv/elDrama.Org.

I am not very confident when I said this because there were so many people at the scene who wanted to cooperate with Anna. It wasn’t impossible for them to lie! My chances are slim ! But I still want to gamble at this time!

“Dare to challenge me!” She looked enraged. “In half a month, you will compete in the French jewelry competition on behalf of the lion group. If you win, I will truly forgive you for today’s unintentional behavior!”

“What if Miss Anna loses?” I stepped forward.

“Will I lose?”

“Will I lose?”  “How about quitting this industry if I lose” she said back, her eyes full of mockery.

Suddenly, this remark created a ruckus!

“Miss Anna . It will be a huge loss to the industry if you truly quit. .” I spoke.

“What do you believe makes you unique?” She said it with a sneer.

“If you lose,” I answered calmly, “The amount and price of the jewelry styles you launch each year, I will have the final say.”

she said, as if she’d just heard the best joke she’d ever heard, “if it’s Miss Trista, you lose?”

“I’m at your service.”

“Really?” She flashed a confident grin “Even if you leave the jewelry sector, it won’t have much of an impact. I’d like you to publicly apologize to me.”

“No issue,”

When she walked away, the gathering was suddenly abandoned.

Several administrators were aware that I was a member of the lion pack, but they did not dare to cause me troulbe. They could only indicate at this point that the band would play songs rapidly. A large number of people entered and danced with their partners. Gemma was asked to dance with the general manager of another company in the dark. I stood where I was, as if the world had abandoned me.

“Would you like to dance, Miss Trista?”

“Do you think I have the honor?”

Several men stepped forward and extended an invitation. “Sorry, I don’t dance today,” I gently declined.

I promised Donald that I would avoid men.

The door burst open, and a man with a prominent profile walked in. Many of those who saw him screamed.

“Mr. Donald!”

Donald?

What brings him here?

I  noticed that he was dressed in a black suit. He grabbed a woman and danced as soon as he walked into the room. Everyone was screamed at all times. Because of Donald’s entrance, the guests on the dance floor danced more actively!

All of a sudden, the environment became quite hot!

Didn’t he say he wanted to visit France?

What brings him back so quickly?

Why dosen’t he give me a call when he get back?

Is it to surprise me that he suddenly appeared here?

A slew of weird ideas popped into my head. I noticed Donald’s hand on the waist of another woman. The woman wore a lot of makeup and gave him a flowery grin.

Just looking at this image makes me nauseous.

I couldn’t see Donald’s face clearly from afar. His delicate motions towards his dancing mate, caused my heart skip a beat. Can’t he see me standing here?
