Shaurya’s POV…..

When we came home, after taking good rest we all were getting ready to go to dad’s business partner Mr. Yash Deewan’s home. To be honest, I am so excited to meet Mr. Deewan. He is one of the most prominent and leading businessmen. My company is in second position and dad’s and Arav’s company is in third position. Yash Deewan’s business is heading over the first position for the past 30 years. After my dad, Mr. Deewan is one of my role models. I always wanted to meet him one day and today is the day.

But I want to know about that girl. Who was she? I want to meet her. Her beautiful eyes in which I get mesmerized. Her attractive face, her rosy lips which I desperately want to kiss. Her perfect figure, I want to pull her from her waist, wait, wait, wait…… What I started to think. I am not like this before. No other girl crosses my mind like this. Shit! I have to go downstairs or else…….

When I came downstairs Mom and Dad both were chatting and Dad is looking exceptionally delighted today. I don’t know why and the same goes for my mom. Aradhna and Arav as usual fighting. Dad saw me and beamed like a clown.

“Ready my son?”

“Yes, dad. Why do you look so happy, dad? It’s just a dinner.”

“Yeah…. yeah…It…. it’s just a dinner” dad stuttered. Now I started to suspect more. Why did he start to stutter?

“Ok, now let’s go,” mom said and pull dad’s arm. When we closed the main gate and were about to sit, Arav’s phone rang…. He attend the call and after talking with someone he was looking worried

“What happens?” I asked him

“There is some problem in finance. We have to go to the office right now.”

“Just call Mr. Pathak, he is the finance manager. Just tell him the problem and he will solve this.”

“No Shaurya, this matter is severe. We have to go.” If Arav says that the matter is serious then it means it’s serious. Arav is a jolly person. He always has funniness with his employees as well but if there is some serious matter then he becomes the most ruthless and deep person more than me and my dad.

“Ok, let’s go. But first, we have to inform dad” I said and he nodded his head.

“Dad”

“Dad, there is some serious matter going on in the office we have to go there.”

“Now?” dad asked

“Yes dad, This matter is serious,” Arav said and Dad understood

“Okay, then you both boys go and figure it out whatever the matter is. But if you get free before then you know the address right?”

“Yes dad, we will come there if we get free early”

“Ok then, we will leave. Bye.”

“Bye, mom and dad. Enjoy”

The trio went and I and Arav sit in another car. I got furious. I was damn eager to meet Mr. Deewan and I lost this chance to meet him. If I met him then it would be beneficial for my business only.

“What the hell yaar, what is the matter? Why didn’t you call Mr. Pathak?” I asked in hell irritated

“Because Mr. Pathak is the one who did these issues in finance.”

“What? Why would he do that?” I asked in all shock.

Mr. Pathak is a very honorable man. He is a selfless person. He always thinks about everyone first. He is working in my company as a Finance manager since I established my company. I never take the tension of finance-related things. Mr. Pathak was always there for our company. When I heard about this I got shocked because no one will believe this.

“Something is missing Arav. You know his personality well.” I said to him

“I know him but a large amount is missing from our company and after seeing all the proofs it was clear that he is the one who did this and he is the real culprit.”

“No, no he can’t be the culprit. If he did something like this then there must be some reasons. I am damn sure.”

We reached the office in 30 min. When I came to my cabin, my assistant Liza was there. I don’t like her at all. But she is Arav’s friend and this is the only reason I hired her. She always comes into the office wearing a very short dress. I don’t mind short dresses but she wears shorter than shorter and I don’t like them. She is a very clingy girl. She doesn’t even know how to work or what an assistant has to do in the office. She just knows how to reveal her skin, display her boobs and seduce a person. She sometimes tried to seduce me but I scold her for her demeanor. In short, I don’t like her face or her appearance in front of me.

“Sir you came?” she asked

“No, I am in my home and having dinner with my family,” I said sarcastically and she shut her mouth

“Arav, who showed you the proofs?” I asked Arav.

“Me, sir. I showed him all the evidence” she said excitedly. I knew something is skipping and I know what I have to do. It’s the perfect time to fire her.

“Are you Arav?” I yelled and she shut her mouth

“Why are you chiding her Shaurya? It’s not her fault.” Arav said

“Out,” I said to Liza.

After she went out, I calmed myself first and looked at him

“I trust Mr. Pathak he can’t do anything like that and you know his personality. First, you tell me when you got to know about this matter?”

“Yesterday” he replied

“And how you got to know?”

“When I came in my office and checked some reports, Liza came in my office and she said that you give me the finance report for checking.”

“I gave you?” I asked while lifting my one eyebrow.

“Yes, Liza told me that. First I got bewildered that why you gave me the finance report because you never told me to check this report.”

“Because I never myself check the report ever. I think you forgot something I didn’t come here yesterday remember? We only came yesterday and you got an urgent call that you have to sign some documents?”

“Fuck” Arav hissed.

“Baby boy I will prove to you everything today only. Where is Mr. Pathak?” I inquired.

Ok, I know you all are confused that we are in Los Angeles for vacation and we all living in Mumbai then what is going on? So, the thing is I have so many branches all over the world and one of the branches is in Los Angeles. I already told you that Arav is my business partner as well recall? Great if you remember that. Now you all were thinking what my assistant is doing here so the other thing is, I don’t want her to be here in my office. But I have a meeting here tomorrow and I required my assistant to be with me so she also came with us. Now you all were thinking about Mr. Pathak then another thing is he manages the finance of all the branches and his daughter is here studying here in Los Angeles. My dad did her admission but his daughter Samantha doesn’t want anything from us because she is also like her dad selfless and forever thinks about everyone.

Dad liked her heart and she is like a sister to us. So when dad got her admission here after some time she achieved the scholarship on her own and made all of us happy. Mr. Pathak’s wife died because of cancer. In his family, he and his daughter live. Mr. Pathak wanted to meet his daughter so I also took him with us. He is a very nice guy, a promising man who believes in customs and respects everyone’s preferences. Now you Guys understood? Great.

“Arav, where is Mr. Pathak?” I asked him

“He took a day off,” Arav said

“Wait, he took a day off, which he never did in years,” I asked him. I got pessimistic.

“Let me check,” he said and dialed someone’s number and started to talk

“Whatttt?” Arav wailed on the phone and I got worried

“We are coming there,” Arav said and cut the call.

“Shaurya, Mr. Pathak is in the hospital. Samantha got admitted there.”

“What?” it’s a shock for me.

“Let’s go then,” I said to Arav and we departed for the hospital. When Arav was driving I got a call from my dad.

“Hello, dad, what is it?” I asked in a fright

“Shaurya, why are you panicking, is everything fine?”

“No dad, Samantha is admitted to the hospital and some issues are going on in finance, and all the proof it shows that Mr. Pathak is the real offender.”

“What? How is this possible? Wait, we are coming.”

“No, dad don’t come. Come tomorrow. We are going to the hospital. Don’t worry we will deal with everything.”

“Take care, son. If you require something then let me know ok?”

“Yes dad, bye,” I said and disconnected the call and we arrived at the hospital. After taking information from the receptionist we got to know that Samantha is in the Operation Theatre. We hurriedly left from here and when we reached the floor we both saw Mr. Pathak is in mess. His white shirt has transformed into Red because of blood and I started to get panic. I never thought that I will meet Samantha here in the hospital.
