Immediately Theo took his leave, I noticed how Brenda was all around me that I couldn’t bear but to yell at her.

“What is it huh?”

“I’m sorry sir, I wanted to tell you something but I don’t know how to for you not to be offended” She pleaded.

“Then say all you wish to say to me. I don’t have all time standing here to dialogue with you”, I responded rudely at her.

“Thank you sir. It’s all about Bella” Immediately Bella’s name was mentioned, my heart skipped a beat and I was forced to ask her a question, “What about Bella? Did something terrible happened to her?”, I asked feeling. so scared.

“I saw a scar on her back that looks like it hurts her and I know she is acting like she is fine but she is dying in serious silenced, she denied everything to me.”

A thought came when I remember asking her what happened to her walking step so could it be she lied to me when she is going through pains, no way I must find out myself.

Hearing the sounds of plates crashing in the kitchen, I knew she was there so I opened it and behold I saw the scar while she bent down to gather the plates.

I don’t know what came over me when I decided to raise her top to view it properly and I also asked her saying,

“Why did you lie to me when I asked you what happened to your walking step?”.

I expected an instant answer from her because my blood was boiling but she answered me in a way that I grew angrier at her.

I repeated the question, I doubt if she knows how I am angry to see her hurt this way on her skin.

“That is not what I asked you, Bella. Okay turn your back and raise your top. I want to see those scars properly.”

She wanted to change the topic by starting with but, I had to let her know this is an order from me her boss and she became silent escaping her eyes from meeting mine.

I swear I’m going to kill the person that did this to her because it looked like iron was used on her back from those scars.

I was about to yell at her when she groaned in pains and tears started flowing from her eyes melting my heart.

I had to switch the question to ask about her health, she kept on crying in pains so I had to take her with me in my car for she must be treated at a good hospital and giving some medications to ease her pains.

I noticed she doesn’t want to share what happened to me, I concluded the fact that I won’t bother her about who did it but will bother to know if she is still hurting.

I don’t ever wish to see her cry, I will try my best to be there for her always.

I went to see Lisa at home, her grandma wasn’t around and I told her everything that happened earlier today.

“You mean he asked you who did this to you and ordered you to raise your top for him to see?” She asked looking at me with all curiosity.

“So what did you do? Just tell me you told him everything, tell me you spoke the truth to him, I just can’t wait for your parents to face his wrath and that your silly sister I will beat up soon enough.” She said all these demonstrating her fist.

“Oh come on, don’t boast about yourself too much, you don’t even know if she can beat you”, I teased her.

“Oh never, I am damn good with martial arts so I can deal with her so well and let her know we are not mates, not in this life or her next life, even in dreams, I will still beat her up”, She boasted again and I started laughing at this.

“So tell me, did you tell him?” She asked not forgetting it at all and I was trying my best to avoid the question for I know she will be so mad at me when she finds out about my response to him.

” I didn’t tell him anything, I couldn’t bring myself to tell him, my parents did this to him, I can’t just say such of my parents to my boss son”, I replied.

“You mean, you did what?”, she asked opening her mouth so wide and widening her eyes.

” I didn’t tell him, I just took advantage of the situation by letting out my pains and tears started running from my eyes as I became so emotional. He is the only person I have seen that has genuinely stood for me and want to still fight for me, I poured out tears of joy and pain at the same time, he just had to swap the question to know if I was alright and then he forced me to go to the hospital with him”, I said all these to her without taking a break at all.

She stood up and gave me a hit on my back, “You silly girl, how could you throw such an opportunity to be free from your evil parents, you are insane”, she yelled angrily as I knew before it’s going to happen.

“Don’t be mad at me but just understand me, please”, I tried calming her down.

“Understand what exactly. That you are just so wonderful by not telling him, the heroine of your family, maybe the next thing they will be doing is to kill you and maybe by then you won’t see your boss coming to help”, she said still angry.

“You know that can’t happen”, I replied.

“You are something else for real, keep on enduring oh but make sure not to lose someone as Kyle”, she said to me and I nodded in agreement.

She prepared noodles for us to eat before I will be going home to meet another problem.

I was getting used to Kyle’s presence at work but I just have to control the fact that I can’t fall in love with him but each day becomes so difficult for me to bear it all.

I was busy in the kitchen in Mrs Wilson’s home when one of the maids come to me saying, “Bella, someone is here to see you”

I got shocked knowing fully well I don’t know anyone that will be coming to see me today, Lisa might be in class or work, my family will never so who was the question playing in my head.

“She said she is your sister that’s why the gate got opened for her, you can see her yourself at the awaiting sitting room”, she said and left.

” My sister, the maid must be playing a prank with me for I don’t have a sister that would visit me, the one I have hates me and she will be in school by now but let me see for myself” I concluded on going to see for myself.

My mouth went wide open seeing Joanna, “Joanna” I said in surprise.
