“What are you doing here Clara?” He asked with a scary tone, maybe he knows her.

What I didn’t get was the way the girl was looking at me like I stole something dear to her.

I just played with my fingers since I didn’t have a phone to play games with.

“So this is it. You here having fun with another bitch and kept on ignoring me!!” She said to him pointing at me.

I can’t believe she addressed me as a bitch when am not one. I notice people just judge and accuse me so easily but never get to defend myself.

How will I be able to stand to her? She looks so rich, what if she is also a billionaire like my boss’s son, I’m so finished.

I got so surprised and emotional when my boss stood up for me.

“Hey Clara, watch your language and don’t you dare call my date a bitch. I won’t tolerate that from you.” I felt butterflies in my belly.

How I wish someone can be standing up for me all the time I would have been soaring?

“I’m sorry Kyle, but this is not fair, ever since you came back have been requesting to see you but you kept denying me that opportunity. Why do you have her time and not mine?” She asked him.

“I’m sorry sir, seems you two need privacy.” I said, standing up to excuse them to have their discussion.

” No dear, sit down, she is the one to leave.” I’m getting scared already as he’s said this.

“Kyle she is right. She needs to leave for us to discuss, she is a stranger right and I am supposed to be…” He didn’t let her end her statements when he said.

“Do you realize you are calling my girlfriend here a stranger? Are you here to jeopardize me and my girlfriend’s relationship or to make her jealous?” I opened my mouth in awe when I heard that from him.

I never remembered the day we both started dating so why is he referring to me as his girlfriend to her.

The girl was mad at this and said, “I know you are lying, you have no one except me.” She replied.

My boss stood up and said, “Thank you for ruining my date. Baby let’s go.”

I blinked my eyes twice, trying to assimilate everything that was going on. Did I just hear him right? He called me baby! He took my hands for us to leave.

He held me on my waist and we looked exactly like couples but I was feeling so uneasy.

The girl yelled saying, “I’m seeing your mom.”

He opened the car door as usual for me to sit and when he sat at the driver seat, he said, “I’m sorry about that but it was necessary. Let me take you home.”

I felt my heart beating so hard, I can’t go home with him like this, I just can’t.

What can I do right now?

Then I thought of telling him I will be seeing my friend first before going home so I can change into my old outfit.

I noticed the jacket was already in his car at the back seat, maybe when he helped me.

” Sir, I won’t be going home, I have something to get from my friend.”

“Seems you are too slow in learning, I said stop the sir.” He yelled.

” I’m so sorry.” I apologised to him.

“Hope you had fun before we got interrupted?” He asked.

I nodded saying yes.

He just told me to act normal and I shouldn’t be scared of coming to work the next day, “I will hand over to Brenda your hospital report since she is in charge of the maids and you will be pardoned okay and as for my mother, I will handle her my self.” He added.

“Thanks a lot.” It was as if he just uplift a burden from me.

We arrive at Lisa’s place and he said, “Do enjoy your night and remember you are going to complete the last assignment I gave to you.”

“Sure, and thanks again for saving my life and also allowing me to have a taste of the rich life.”, I said with a smile and he said.

“Will you be free this weekend?”

I didn’t know the reason he asked that but I declined, “I doubt that. I will be at work as usual.”

“Don’t worry about that, I will handle it and you will be off Saturday and Sunday, I will be taking you to see a movie and I don’t expect a no from you.”

I smiled briefly and I felt stupid for laughing.

I came down from the car and he zoomed off.

Lisa startled me, “You almost gave me a heart attack.”

“Bella is this you? You look so gorgeous, you even look like a billionaire. I need you to tell me everything that happened with you and why your boss is dropping you here.” Lisa said admiring me and checking the expensive bone straight I had on.

“Fine, I will tell you okay!”

I told her everything that happened, she wasn’t really happy with what my parents did, she was glad my boss came at the right time to save me and also to take me out on a date.

I know my boss is just kind but my friend kept on saying, he likes me and I still don’t believe that.

I quickly changed into my rag outfit, keeping everything with Lisa before going home.

Getting home, I thought my parents will deal with me thinking I came late or maybe Mrs. Wilson called them I didn’t come to work.

I know they won’t even believe me if I tell them the truth but mom said, “You lazy girl, falling sick at work. Do you want them to deduct that huge amount of money? Just be careful else, I will personally send you to your grave.” She said, walking to her room.

I feel this is my boss’s son’s doing. He told me he will handle everything. He saved me again, his he’s indeed my night in shining armor.

I entered my room thinking about the date and all but I need to control my emotions with him, I can’t fall in love with him.

Moreover I’m just a maid and he is a billionaire, meaning we can never be together.

I woke up doing everything as usual then I overheard Joanna telling mom about the picture trending on social media.

She mentioned Kyle on a date with his newfound Cinderella, they complimented her beauty saying she must be using the most expensive cream and soap and that’s why her skin is shining.

With the way they described her outfit and the worth, it was exactly what I was putting on earlier today.

I walked to them begging to see as well. She just showed me in anger, and truly It was I and Kyle.
