I was in a strange place when my mother shouted at me, “You silly girl, I will deal with you when you get home today, just wait for it.” I started begging her and that was when I woke up in a room that’s all white.

I wondered where I was at the moment, the place looks so strange and I never remembered coming here, all that I could remember was that I was trying my very best to carry my legs to work, then I was blank totally and I am waking up in a strange place.

I know I’m dead, “Sorry where am I sir?” I asked him.

“You are at the hospital, you are lucky I was driving home when I saw you trekking and slump on the road, I had to help you so I brought you here for treatment. Should I say you are the lucky one, I believe I’m always available to help you in times of need, believe me, you owe me another.” He said.

I can’t believe my boss’s son is always at my rescue, he’s my knight in shining armor just like the way it is in the movie but this is not happening he’s my boss so I just thanked him and informed him I was fine now but needed to return to work with the report from the hospital that I collapse on my way making me not to be able to resume work in time.

“Fine, you wish to go then I will leave you here to pay for your bills and remember this is among the top 10 hospitals I brought you and I guess you know what expense you will be paying for?” He said planning to leave me.

I can’t believe this, I have not been able to afford a taxi and he’s telling me to pay for my bills. I never asked him to bring me to an expensive hospital even when what he did was to save me.

I can’t be rude to him, but why is he angry? Is it because he thinks I don’t value health? I’m just scared his mom is going to call my parents that I’m not at work and I’m doomed for it.

“Please I’m sorry sir, I can’t afford the bills and I will need your help for I know is a little thing for you to take care of, please help me again and I promise I will be willing to do everything you ask of me just to make sure I work as hard as possible to pay back the bills.” I said in a breaking voice.

He turned around and said, “You’re such a stubborn human but it’s very simple, your time for today and that’s all.” He adjusted the seat and sat down looking at me waiting for an answer.

I won’t lie, I don’t understand what he meant that my time and that’s all so I asked him saying, “Excuse me sir but I still don’t get what you mean by my time please, just make me understand.”

“I just wish to know why a young girl as you has so many complaints from the doctor and the shocking part was when I discovered you have bp, so I want to get to meet you and find out so many things from you but listen carefully before you decide a yes or no cause I know you are the stubborn type, saying no means I’m not sorting out any bill here but saying yes will benefit you, the ball is at your court.” He said with another brief smile on his face.

Gosh, I hate it when he does that and he damn is so cute whenever he does it.

I know saying no won’t benefit me so I have no option other than to say yes but thank God is just for few hours.

I rolled my eyeballs and cleared my throat saying,” Yes I agree”.

“Good choice you made, now I will ask the doctor to discharge you at once so we get going.” He added before leaving.

I had a sigh of relief when he left but happy someone like him was really nice to me.

Minutes later he came with the doctor and said, “These are your medications, make sure you complete your dose and try and be eaten all the time okay.” He continued to advise me base on my health status, I know the food aspect and the avoiding stress will never be possible but I just acted to everyone that I will listen to the health advise.

After I was discharged, I couldn’t walk properly so he carried me in a grand style, I felt embarrassed because everyone at the clinic kept on saying things like, “Wow, I so much love this couples, they look good together.” I hate the fact they all are misinterpreting the whole thing but I just can’t wait for him to put me down.

He opened the door of his car for me to sit in and I did, I can’t believe I’m lucky again to sit in an expensive car for a second time.

Firstly he took me to a boutique for he says he can’t meet me like this, I have never gone shopping before, I got emotional that I almost cried, when I saw the price tag of what he just bought, I almost asked him to return it and we should look for a cheaper one but i don’t want him to address me as stubborn again.

After which he paid, he bought a silver high heels that glitters, I totally made a fool of myself for I could not walk with heels, I thought he will laugh at me but instead he brought himself so low and taught me how to walk stylishly with it as a girl.

I must say, the meet me stuff was getting exciting for me that I forgot my problem just to enjoy the moment.

Sometimes he brought out his phone and ask us to take a selfie, I was like Cinderella here and he was my Prince.

I am indeed so lucky.

He bought me a bag that fits so well and also got my accessories after which he took me to a saloon to do something to my hair.

He asked me to make a select the wig I wish to have, I was patiently looking for a cheap one but I saw the bone straight and I have always admired it in movies and wished to have one but that can’t happen.

He saw how I admired it and ordered the person in charge that he’s taking it, the hair was worth 2000 dollar, I know I can never repay his kindness to me.

After we were done with everything needed, he took me to a place, where they will do make up and put on my outfit, the makeup artist is good and I made a promise in my heart that when I have the money, I would love to learn more from here.

I put on my outfit with everything he bought for me and I looked totally different in the mirror, this was when I realised living in poverty hides your real beauty.

They told him that his special someone is coming out and a wow escaped his lips when he saw me walking out stylishly like he told me earlier.

I already walked to him when I missed a step and he caught me from not falling and we stare into each other eyes with his hands still on my waist.
