ANNABEL (Coming Back, A):

Hades began to pace around in his room ignoring the lady on his bed. He needed a Plan. He has to think of a plan to get Demon. Since Demon had used his mouth to tell him about Elena being his mate, getting the Princess will be very difficult.

The pains Camilla was going through faded and she regains herself once again.

“I don’t know, I have to inform David the situation on the ground.” Hades answered. “He has to spy on Demon from now onwards and see the girl he moves out with. Without Elena’s soul there is nothing I can do.” He added.

“You can’t give up now Hades, because of you I have lost my mate for good, and here you are telling me there is nothing you can do unless you are with her soul. Don’t joke with me Hades,” Camilla said in anger.

“Fine, leave let me think. We will have Elena’s soul, I assure that my dear,” Hades said.

“Good, because I have always dreamed of having many powers,” She said and made to leave the room.

“Where are you going from here?” Hades demanded.

“I am going to meet my Mate father and tell him his son has just broken the mate bond between us.” Having answered his question, she left the room.

“What’s going on Eva? Why did you ignore Jullian?” Elena asked. She was surprised that her younger sister would see the pretty boy and ignored him. Eva has been dying to have his attention.

“I rather not talk about it sis, thank you.”

“Okay, I won’t push you but know that I am always available to give a listening ear to you. You are my only sister and your happiness is my priority,” Elena said to her sister.

Eva smiled a little. “Thank you sis, I will keep that in mind.”

Elena drove quickly to school, she hoped Demon was okay wherever he was.

Demon Residence:

Demon appeared in his room and took his bath, 30 minutes later he was dressed for school. He had to keep an eye on Elena and her sister until he knew who was behind the attack and after that, everything was resolved.

His wife’s betrayer is still fresh in his mind. How could someone lie about her death just for him to kill a particular person for powers? Camilla is greedy. He was grateful that he had found another Mate.

He called out the same demon who had revealed Elena’s secret to him that night, he appeared immediately.

“Yes master.” He said kneeling down.

“Now is not the time to kneel Eriga, stand up, I have a job for you,” Demon said as the demon stood up to his feet.

“What is the job master?” Eriga asked.

“I need you to trace the person behind all the Ninja attacks I have been receiving lately. Go and find out and tell me who is behind it.” Demon responded.

“Yes master.”

“I need the answers tonight. Make no mistake,” He said and walked out of his room and the demon disappeared into thin air.

Who could be behind all the recent attacks? Jess had told him that Elena’s mother wanted her daughter’s powers and would stop at nothing until she gets it. If she is behind the attack, wouldn’t she only attack Elena and not him? Something is going on. He could swear ‘Annabel’ sounds strangely familiar to him, maybe he had met Elena’s mother before but where?

“Good morning boss.” Samuel greeted his boss bringing him out of his deep thoughts.

“Morning Samuel, please open the gate, I am going out.” Demon said opening his car and entering it, he ignited his car. He couldn’t tell Samuel where he was heading to. Samuel will get suspicious and begin to ask questions.

“Yes sir.” Samuel replied and went to open the gate for his boss.

He drove off heading straight to school. He hopes Elena and her sister have gotten there before him.

Jess House:

Jess put a call through King Eremus who picked it at the fourth ring.

“Hello your majesty, good morning.” Jess greeted.

“Morning Jess, how are you doing?” King Eremus asked.

“I’m good. Anyway, I called you to let you know that I have seen the assassin who has been killing the Princesses.” Jess revealed.

“What? How did you see the assassin?” King Eremus demanded in shock.

“I saw him, he confessed to me.” Jess answered.

“Wait a minute, the assassin is a man and he told you that himself?” King Eremus asked.

“Yup, a man who is in love with Elena.” Jess replied.

“Let me get this straight, the assassin revealed himself to you because he is in love with my daughter?” King Eremus questioned.

“Yes King Eremus, and also he is a Demon.”

“Demon or not demon he won’t have my daughter.”

“He saved Elena’s life twice King Eremus. He protected us from harm when Ninja were sent to attack us last night. If he is evil why then will he save us from those bloodthirsty killers? Anyways, he knows about Elena and I think Annabel is back.”

King Eremus exhaled deeply when he heard his ex wife’s name.

“I will be coming to see you in France,” Eremus said and hung up.

Parking his car beside the Lamborghini, he didn’t see any of the sisters beside their car. He turned off his car engine and came out, like usual, every one eye was on him but he ignored it and was looking for a pair of purple hair.

Entering the school hall, he quickly walked to his first class and saw Elena in the classroom, seated at the end of the class and alone.

Elena stood up immediately when she saw Demon and held herself from moving to meet the beautiful guy walking towards her. She sits back once he reaches her.

Demon sat on another chair beside her and turned to look at her.

“How are you this morning Elena?”

“I am fine, and you?” Elena asked as she stared back at him. She noticed his eyes were filled with sadness and couldn’t help but wonder why.

“Not fine but sad, I will pretend and say I am fine Elena.”

“Why are you not fine Chase? Is it what you went in search of that made you this way?” Elena asked, moving her eyes to watch his lips as they moved.

“Yes Elena.”

“Can you tell me why you are sad?”

Deciding not to lie to her, he told her the truth. “I caught my demon wife cheating on me with someone who I see as my friend.” He answered.

Elena was flaggabasted when she heard that. “You are married?” She asked with shock.

“Yes.” Demon reply.

“You are married and you kissed me last night, you cheated on your wife too.” Elena said, not believing her ears. Demon is married.

“You got it all wrong, she was my demon mate and why I had kissed you is that you are my Shadow Chaser mate which automatically makes you mine.” Demon revealed.

“Was?”

“Yeah, I have broken the bond that binds me and her, we are no longer together, or rather divorced as the human calls it.”

“Why didn’t you forgive her, it was only once and everyone needs a second chance.”

“Not Camilla, she betrayed me. Do you know it was because of her I started killing the dead princesses. She and my friend lied to me about her death, and told me the only way for her to come back to life is to get 20 princesses’s souls to him. You were my next target and somehow they knew about the powers you held, they wanted to use your soul to find a place that has powers and has been sealed and hidden for years.” Demon revealed. “I won’t let that happen.”

“So they wanted to use you and achieve their aim?”

“Yes.”

“I won’t blame you for your actions towards your wife.”

“Thank you for understanding, and oh, one more thing, Dave was sent to kill you in case I fail to kill the princess, but he hasn’t yet known you are the princess. So be very careful of him.”

“Thank you Demon for your information.”

At that moment David walked in followed by the rest of the students in that class.

Unknown Place:

“Your Ninja’s are weaklings and couldn’t capture her and him.” The Ninja lady said to the leader of the Ninjas that sent out his Ninja’s to Jess’s house. She held to his neck squeezing it tightly. “I should just kill you now, but I won’t.” She added releasing the man from her hold.

“Thank you for not killing me master Annabe,.” He said gasping for air to inhale. “You need to know the Ninja with the lady isn’t an ordinary Ninja, he fights really good. I thought you had fought with him once.” He added. He got to know about the demise of his Ninja’s when none of his Ninja’s returned by daylight. Once it’s daylight, and no sign of his Ninja’s, he concluded they were dead, after all Demon was a very dangerous assassin.

“Since none of you could do such a simple task, I will do it myself. It’s time for me to pay a visit to my daughter.”
