Demon drove into his house and waved at Samuel. He opened his car door and came down and motioned for Samuel to come to him which the Gatekeeper did.

“I am fine sir.”

“Okay, have you had your lunch yet?”

“No sir.”

Demon put his hand into one of his pockets and brought out some dollars note which he gave to Samuel.

“Use it and buy something to fill your stomach with,” Demon said and entered his house ignoring Samuel thanks.

Once inside, he groaned when he saw David.

“David what are you doing here?” Demon asked, trying to keep his voice low.

“I came to see you and also to give you a warning to stay away from Ena.”

“I don’t understand.”

“You were clingy to Ena all through the day and didn’t even give her a breathing space. May I remind you that you are married and you are here to find the Princess of Eras Kingdom soul.”

“And last I remember, it is none of your business who I choose to move with. And let me also remind you that my wife died, she is dead and I am trying to bring her back to life.”

“Just stay away from Ena or else you will have me to contend with.”

Demon smiled. “Leave my house, or I will send you on a holiday to the demon train where you will stay for eternity.”

“I have said my warning Demon, focus on finding the Princess and leave here as quickly as you can. See you soon,” David said and disappeared.

“Fool.” Demon mused to himself. The fool doesn’t know Ena is the Princess he was supposed to kill.

“Where is the lady?” Demon asked no one.

A demon appeared. “In one of the empty rooms my Lord.”

“Good, put her to sleep until I am ready to interrogate her.”

“Yes my Lord,” The demon said and disappeared.

Walking towards his room, he entered it and quickly peeled off his clothes to have his bath. After he had his bath and changed his clothes, he went to his bed and slept off. He was tired.

His interrogation with the lady will have to wait until he has regained his strength.

The Ninja man who was with the Ninja lady that disappeared was staring at a Ninja in front of him.

“And are you sure you saw her entered the house?” He asked for the umpteen times.

“Yes master. She and her sister live there.”

“I want a clean job this time around, take some Ninja’s with you and go to her house, kidnap her and bring her here.”

“Yes master.”

“Listen, I want no mistake.”

“Yes master, no mistake.”

“You can go.”

7:30 Pm:

Demon was restless as he lay on his bed. He was wide awake but has been thinking.

What if the Ninjas had traced Elena to her house?

Sitting upright in his bed. He has to go and monitor her house since he was the one who had caused it. No one will kill Elena except him. He will be the one to end her. He knows where she lives.

He stood up from his bed and commanded the shadows around him to enter his body. He feeds from the shadows.

Once they had filled his stomach, he went over to his wardrobe and opened it. Bringing out his bag and opening it, he brought out his Ninja’s clothes and wore it. Taking out his sword. He left his house though the shadows.

8:00 Pm:

Eva was in her room talking with Julian who hasn’t come back yet on the phone. She was using her earpiece to answer his call, blocking out every noise around her.

Elena and Jess were seen discussing in the living room.

“So you had a dream and saw the beast?” Jess asked with a smile.

“Yes auntie, I saw myself in an open place, fire has already been built to keep me warm and I sat down, that was when the beast made its appearance.” Elena explains.

“What did it tell you?”

“That she is my grandmother and how my powers will soon manifest and-” Elena stopped when she saw Jess stood up fast and moved to the closest wall, her hand in her mouth to Elena to keep her quiet.

The lights went out at that minute. Elena blinked in the darkness a few times and stood up from her seat, then she saw Jess’s shadow move around the sitting room. Elena didn’t hear the door open or close, she stood frozen against the living room for a full minute.

A frightened scream filled the air, though not her aunt, but it jolted Elena into action, she hoped Eva didn’t hear that scream. Eva was so engrossed with her phone call she was having with Julian and didn’t hear the scream.

Elena opened the front door and… her heart in her mouth, bile on the tip of her tongue, she saw her aunt fighting off about 20 people wearing black, she was holding something that looked like lighting in the shape of a sword in her hand and used it on them. The same black clothes which had attacked her in school. Ninjas. What are they doing here?

Her aunt tried to prevent them from entering her house, but they were fast in their movement.

One saw her and headed towards her in full speed, blending with night and raised his sword to hit her on her skull and make her lose consciousness when another Ninja she didn’t see with the others dropped from the sky in front of her and stopped the sword and instantly chop off the head of the Ninja that wanted to attack her.

He left her at the corridor and ran to help her aunt in fighting off the rest of the Ninjas. Soon all the Ninja’s were dead.

Demon breathed his breath he was holding and blinked his eyes when he saw the old woman he had helped pointing her sword at him.

“Who are you and why did you help me?” Jess asked.

“I am a friend to your niece.” Demon answered truthfully.

“Which of my niece?”

“Ena.” Demon said and removed his mask prompting Elena to gasp out loud when she saw the person behind the mask.

Jess breathed in and his scent filled her nose. She held her weapon tightly.

“You are a Demon. The same one who I had smelt on my niece.”

“His name is Damien aunt.”

“He is a Demon, I know one when I see it. You will get to know all of these things soon.” Jess told her niece and faced the Demon.

“Your aunt is right Ena, I am a real Demon.” He told Elena and clapped his hands.

Some demons appeared in the compound. “Clean up the mess quickly.” Demon commanded them and they went to work, picking the dead and throwing them into an open portal.

“You are a Demon and you didn’t tell me? I thought you said you are my friend,” Elena said walking towards Demon. Why didn’t she see it like she did with Dave? Why?

“Don’t get close to him, you saw what he did to those assassins, he is dangerous.”

“No he is not, he saved my life in school today,” Elena said and finally reached his side, standing in his front.

“Your aunt is right, I am dangerous Ena or should I call you Princess Elena of Eras Kingdom.” Demon said and nodded his head as he saw the pure look of shock in Elena’s face. “I know who you are my Princess.”

“How did you know! Who are you?” Elena gripped Demon upper Ninja clothes and shook him hard.

“My real name is Demon. I’m your Assassin.”
