FIRST DAY IN A NEW SCHOOL:

The two Ninjas quickly brought out their swords from their backs and pointed it to Demon. The driver brought a chain weapon he had hidden underneath his trousers.

“How did you find us? Who gave you the address here?” One of the Ninjas asked.

“He did.” Demon answered pointing at the driver who looked shocked and flabbergasted.

“W-what? I did not tell you any address. I left as soon as you entered the portal.” The driver said in denial.

“R, you told him to come here? You betrayed the oath we took?”

“I can never do such a thing, he is lying.”

“I am not lying. Actually he didn’t really show me any address. I followed him down here though the cheque I gave to him. He led me here unknowingly.” Demon told them.

“The cheque?”

“Yes, the cheque I gave to you, though it was a real cheque and the money written in it was real too, but it has a hidden tracker. And this now shows you don’t really deserve my money.” Demon answered the driver. “So let’s get down to business, who are you really working for? Why do they want me dead?” He demanded.

“You are asking us irrelevant questions that cannot be answered.” The other Ninja respond. “But I am going to give you a tip for why we need you dead. Let’s just say you offended one of us in the past.” He added.Property belongs to Nôvel(D)r/ama.Org.

Demon tried to ransack his brain if he could remember offending anyone but nothing came up. “I don’t remember offending someone in the past.” He said after a while.

“It was a long time ago, you will get to meet the one when you are half dead or about to die. Your pictures are already going around the Ninja’s schools and soon every Ninja’s will be looking for you to kill you.”

“They should try it then, I will be waiting for their attacks. I think the message I sent to the last one didn’t get to whoever you are working for, but killing the three of you here Will strongly send a message across.”

“Don’t jubilate that you have won, you have not won yet until three of us are dead. Once we are through with you, in your next life, you will regret ever crossing our parts.” The driver man said rolling his sharp chain weapon around him expertly as no side of the sharp blade cut through his body.

Demon smiled. “I am giving you all a chance to scramble away before you die a horrible death.”

“We should be the one telling you that and not the other way round but still yet you are not living here alive.”

The two Ninjas on mask attacked Demon at once, moving faster than the Ninja’s he had encountered earlier.

The fight took longer than Demon expected but he finally succeeded by killing the two Ninja’s. One was killed with his sword to his chest which scattered his heart. The other one was cut limb from limb until he was cut pieces.

Demon quickly turned on reflex and struck his sword in the stomach of the driver who was coming to him in a slower stride. He wanted to take Demon by surprise but he got it instead.

Pulling out his sword roughly from the driver. The driver grunted in pain and held his wounded stomach. “I thought you will join your friends in fighting me but you didn’t which shows how weakling you are.” Demon said with a smile and closed the distance between them, putting his hands in the man’s trousers, searching for the cheque since it was still the same clothes he wore. He saw the cheque at the back pocket of his trousers and tore it into pieces in his presence. “Good bye.”

Demo drove his sword right in the middle of the driver brain killing him instantly.

Bringing out the three dead bodies from the building, he piled them together. Three demons appeared.

“Take their bodies and bury them.”

“Yes master.” They said in unison as each of the demons carried one of the dead bodies and disappeared.

Demon heads to his new home, chooses a school he will attend and fills out the school application for a transfer student. Their resumption day was the following day.

Taking his bath to clean the smell of blood from his body, he slept off immediately.

The Dream:

The full moon was out and Elena saw herself running through a forest with all her strength as something pursued her. Thanks to the full Moon she was able to see her path more clearly.

She couldn’t look back but felt the footsteps gaining on her as the animalistic growls were heard behind her.

She ran and ran, ignoring the sharp branches that cut through her skin, her only focus was to get away from what was chasing her.

Elena stopped running when she got to a high cliff. She couldn’t see what was below it as it was covered in thick darkness. It was a sucide mission if one tries to jump.

The sudden angry growl nearly made her jump off the cliff, taking a deep breath, Elena turned to face the monster chasing her.

She saw a horrific creature of fairy tales. It was a Manticore creature she had once read in a book and browse about the creature on Google. A Manticore is a mythological creature that was said to be unconquerable. The mighty beast is best known for its strange but magnificent features. It is often said that the beast had the head of a man or woman, the body of a lion, and the tail of a scorpion. They are thought to be one of the mightiest of beasts and were capable of devouring every animal in the jungle.

The one she is seeing right now has the face of a hideous female beast.

The creature stopped running and growled out loudly once again at her.

She couldn’t move her legs as she was scared for life. Behind her was a cliff and in front of her was a hideous beast that probably wanted to devour her.

“Come here Elena!” The voice was thick and sharp as it pierced the air.

Elena has to blink her eyes to be sure she saw well. Did the beast mouth just moved and spoke to her? This must be a dream.

“Come to me Elena.” The beast said again, stretching forth her arms, “Come to me.” Her voice was thick but you could still hear a feminine voice underneath the roughness of her voice.

Elena jerked out from her bed when she felt the splash of cold water on her body. She fell from her bed to the floor as Eva laughter was heard. The sleep cleared from her eyes when Eva poured more cold water on her.

“Eva!!!!” Elena called out her name and she heard the sound of her sister footsteps running away from her room.

“Today is our first day in school, I don’t want to be late.” Eva shouted behind her as she ran for safety to her room, locking the door.

I thought I locked my room before going to bed. I will get back at her.

Elena thought and her mind drifted to her strange dream she had.

Who was that strange mythical creature? It was as if I was there real and wasn’t dreaming. And how did she know my name?

Elena pondered in thoughts, the beast face gave it away showing it was a female.

Taking a towel and her soaps from her bag, she entered her bathroom that was conjoined with her room. She quickly took her bath and dried herself up with her towel and brushed her teeth. After that she came out of her bathroom and walked over to her small box of clothes. She went through the set of gowns to wear and opted for a white sleeveless gown.

Wearing it didn’t take her much time and she put on matching white heeled boots that matched with her gown.

Looking at the time, it was 7:10am, she opened her room door, closing it behind her, and she walked towards the sitting room. And saw Eva with Jess sitting at the four seated dining table. Eva was eating cornflakes mixed with milk and Jess gestured to the other full plates filled with cornflakes. She was already dressed up for school. Her clothes were simply a red and short armless gown, that was tight with her black heels. A black jacket was seen on top of the table. Eva was beautiful and hot in that dress of hers.

Their father must have told her about their love for cornflakes and how they eat it first thing in the morning.

“I will get back at you Eva.”

Greeting her aunt, she sat down and poured her own milk into the cornflakes and started eating.

Jess just sat there staring at the two girls as they ate the light breakfast. Once they were done they took their plates to the kitchen and washed it.

“Here are your bags, the books you will use in the school are inside it.” Jess told them to give each of them their bags. She gave a black mask to Eva. “Your father wants you to wear it anytime you are going to school, to conceal your face from the assassin. He might recognise you and use you to get your sister.” She added as she gave Eva the mask.

Eva reluctantly took the mask and put it on her face.

“Is there anything else again aunt?” Eva asked, crossing her arms.

“Nothing else, if there is anything I will let you know, for now start going to school, I don’t want any of you to be late to school on your first day.” Jess said softly.

“Are we going to trek to the school? We don’t even know the name or way to our new school auntie.” Elena said.

“Your father shifted a car yesterday night that will serve as your transportation to your school.” Jess said leading the way to the front door as the girls followed behind her.

She opened it and stepped out of the corridor waiting for the girls to join her. When they did, Eva shouted in joy. An orange Lamborghini stood in the frontage of their aunt’s house. “So today I will be the one driving you girls to school to know the road to your school. Elena will be the one driving from tomorrow. Come on let’s start going.” She added and walked the small distance to the car, opened the car and entered. She waited until both girls were in the car before she starts the car and drove off to school.

‘Welcome To Wisdom Oak High School’ was the first thing the girls saw before entering the huge school compound.

The early students that normally come to school stopped whatever they were doing to stare at the car that grace their school.

Jess managed to find a space for her car and she stepped out of the car, Jess led Elena and Eva to the school Proprietor, who was in his early 60s, he had been expecting them.

“Are these your nieces you told me about?”

“Yes Philip.”

Giving each of them their timetable. “Here are your classes you will have.” He said.

“Thank you sir.” Eva and Elena said.

“I will keep my eyes on them Jess.”

“Thank you Philip, I can always count on you.” Jess told him, getting up to her feet and left the office with Eva and Elena following her. They followed her to the car. “I will come by 3pm to pick you up. And you can make some friends here with the way we are being stared at. Take care of your sister Elena and yourself too, and Eva make sure your mask is in your face.”

“Yes auntie.”

Jess entered the car and drove out of the school.

Eva and Elena both stared at the car.

“You know it is because of you I am starting High school all over again.”

“I know, sorry about that and also it is because of you we were moved to this sorry excuse of a town.” Eva fired back.

“Anyway, let’s leave our argument and ask someone to direct us to our first class.” Elena didn’t get to finish her sentence when a black Bugatti drove in.

The driver near jammed Elena if not that she was fast enough to get out of the way.

Demon stopped his car and kept chanting in his head all over again.

‘Behave like a teenager’

He stepped out of his car putting on his cutest smile that can melt the heart of any lady. He removed the dark sunglasses he wore and threw them inside the car.

He loves the attention he was receiving right now from the younger children (he was way older than them). He left his long silver hair to fall and made his hair covered one side of his face, he suddenly fling the hair that has fallen over his other opened eyes to the back. He could hear the whispering going on around him.

He is so handsome.

I wonder if he has a girlfriend.

He is so beautiful.

Look at his car.

He looked so rich.

‘Teenagers, they are teenagers’

Demon reminded himself.

“You nincompoop!!” Elena yelled out bringing every student attention to her.

Demon turned to her direction as everyone turned to face her.

“I am talking to you with stupid silver hair, you nearly hit me with your car. I need an apology immediately.”

Demon blinked his eyes in surprise. He was surprised by the way the girl talked to him without drooling on the ground or fainting like the ladies he knows.

The girl is really beautiful even in her angry state.

“Excuse me? Are you sure you are alright, why should I apologize to a little brat like you?”

Elena walked towards him in anger ignoring her sister calls, if it were possible the ground was shaking as she approached Demon and collected his car keys from Demon and before he could say anything, she entered the Bugatti making sure she sits on the glasses, breaking it. Starting the car, she rewind the car a little bit back and made the car move forward. The car jammed into Demon knees who was still surprised. He fell down to the ground and held his knees, it hurt like hell, but the hurt will soon fade away soon.

Stepping out of the car, Elena throws the keys at him making sure it hits his face hard.

“Now we are even, I am sorry whatever your name is. Excuse me.” Elena said mockery and went to meet her sister, together they entered the school building ignoring the crowds she didn’t even know had gathered.

‘Be calm she is only a teenager.’

Demon told himself as he got up from the ground. ‘A very beautiful teenager.’
