Carol was undeniably sharp, and her question was purposeful, especially since the kid probably wouldn't lie.

Joseph was still wailing. The woman glared at Carol. "Don't you dare manipulate my son. I said he saw it on the news!"

Dylan snorted. "If you dare speak again, I won't mind rendering your other hand useless too."

The woman trembled and took a step back.

Carol squatted before Joseph, questioning, "Tell me, who told you these things? Who made you insult the other kids?"

Joseph looked at his mom, then at the stern Dylan before finally opening up. "My mom taught me that! She said Ava's dad is a criminal, and her mom is a homewrecker. She's a bad kid, and everyone should punish bad kids..."

Carol stood up to slap the woman again. "You say you didn't teach him that, huh? How disgraceful! I can't believe you've led your son astray like this!"

The principal looked at Atlas remorsefully and tried to calm everyone down. "We should have handled this, Mr. Atlas. Please forgive us."

I knew precisely why the principal was being so deferential to Atlas. He was the one who had donated the money to build the kindergarten building and the kids' play equipment. And now, as he put it, his 'wife and daughter' were being beaten up in the kindergarten, which was unacceptable.

I too would not tolerate troublemakers like this.

"Does your kindergarten accept just any child? Shouldn't you investigate and assess their parents too?" Atlas demanded aggressively.

The principal broke into a cold sweat and his face turned pale.

Atlas looked at the man on the ground and signaled to Dylan, who lifted his foot. As if granted amnesty, the man crawled up and looked at Atlas in fear.

Atlas towered above the man and scrutinized him arrogantly. In a chilling tone, he demanded, "Speak. Who gave you the audacity to do that?"

The man panted heavily. He looked at his wife nervously from time to time while wiping his sweat away.

Atlas asked, "Do you want to confess on your own, or do you want me to investigate?"

"I..." The man clamped his mouth shut nervously. It was obvious that his legs were trembling.

He knew he was nothing compared to Atlas, the man who ruled Foswod. No matter what he said, he was already in deep trouble.

The woman, on the other hand, remained audacious. When she saw her husband in distress, she said defiantly, "What are you doing? Who do you think you are?"

Then, she pointed at me, hurling

insults again She's divorced, but she's still acting inappropriately, and she's trying to seduce other men when she has a daughter. Everyone in Foswood knows about this, so

The man was dumbfounded by his wife's actions. He glanced at Atlas, noticing his expression had turned darker, and rebuked, "Shut up. Stop talking nonsense."

But the foolish woman continued, "You're such a coward, Jeffrey Fischer! I'm not afraid of him. Chloe is..."

The woman fell to the ground with a thud, a streak of blood trailing from the corner of her mouth.

Dylan said sinisterly, "You're not

afraid, huh? Did you think I wouldn't hit a woman? I wanted to show you some respect in front of the children, but you're not being a good example for them. You've tainted theirpure hearts and minds."

Then, Dylan pointed to the woman and said to the group of boys, "Do you see that? People who do wrong and show no remorse deserve to be punished like this. Do you know what they did?"

The boys looked frightened, but Dylan continued. "Who told you to insult Ava? And who told you to hit them?"

The boys tried to retreat, but Dylan pointed at one of them, saying, "You, come and tell everyone what happened."
