“I can’t believe you saw Clyde again!” Becca said as I opened up the ice cream tub.

“I mean he’s an architect too but I never thought I would see him there.” I said as I scooped the ice cream and ate it.

“What did he say?”

“He wants to return the car and the phone… that’s it and then he kinda called me a bitch.”

“Well… ignore him.”

“I know. I have to.” I sighed and Becca took my spoon. Suddenly my phone rang and it’s my boss.

“Yes, Mr. Han.”

“Beverly, we have an appointment tomorrow at 9 in the morning. We’re going to have breakfast with the boss of AA company. Me, you and Sean.”

“Where will the appointment be?”

“Morning Glory cafe at 9 sharp. I don’t want you to be late, okay?” He said.

“Yes sir.”

“Apparently Mr. Dante will be the one who takes over the job, I’m glad that he will take over because Peter boy is damn annoying.” My body froze hearing it and I turned to Becca in horror. She looked at me raising her eyebrows completely no idea why.

“He will take over? Umm sir, how about you take over it too?”

“Sorry, Beverly, but I have another big project. You should be glad that I’m giving you this project.” He said and then he ended the call.

“Oh shit.”

“What? Why?”

“Clyde will be taking over the project instead of that Peter asshole.” I said to her and looked at her in horror.

“Look… keep calm and just act like you don’t know him. I mean you know each other but just pretend that you don’t know anything.”

“Becca! I will see him tomorrow morning at 9.”

“Well that’s fast…” She mumbled.

“What?”

“Nothing! So… you just need to act like you don’t know him but you know him. Get it?”

“You’re not making any sense.” I hissed.

“So you’re going alone?” She asked and I shook my head.

“With Han and Sean.” I said and her face lighten up like a light bulb. She’s a crazy woman.

“With Sean? Oh my gosh.”

“Yes, with Sean… so what?”

“That guy has fall in love with you, Beverly. I bet Clyde won’t like him.”

“Becca… you’re being weird, Clyde has a girlfriend snd her name is Anna.”

“Then tell me why… is he taking over the project? You just met him this morning and now you got the news that he’s taking over.”

“Why would I know? I didn’t even know that he’s the boss of AA company.”

“Oh my gosh, this will be so great.”

“What?”

“Sean will take care of you a lot in front of Clyde. I mean he always been a gentleman.”

“Take him! I don’t like him and don’t have an interest in dating and you know that!”

“Oh come on, Beverly. I bet if Clyde ask you out, you will answer it with 1 word 3 letters… a. k. a Yes!”

“You watched too much gossip girl.”

“Oh Beverly, I wish there’s someone just like Chuck. He’s so dreamy and he and Blair are meant to be together.” Becca said and I rolled my eyes.

“You’re weird.”

“Tomorrow will be… so fun. Can I spy on you?”

“No!” I bursted.

“Oh come on, I want to see Clyde get jealous besides Sean is going to take care of you so well. I love a gentleman but he’s too gentlemanly… I like bad boys better.”

“Gentlemanly? Is that even a word?” I looked at her disbelief and she chuckled.

“I’m so excited for tomorrow’s drama.”

“No more drama… and besides he hates me and he wanted to send me to the police.”

“Oh Beverly… you’re such an innocent girl. He will never turn you to the police because he’s freaking fucking like you.”

“Becca, you are so stupid. Oh yeah… I forgot that you have a brain damage these days because you’re eating too much chocolate.”

“Chocolate is life, Beverly. Don’t you ever say that again!”

“I hate you!”

“Uh I don’t care…”

“Becca!”

“What? Oh! How about we make a bet?”

“No! I’m not making a bet with you.” I shook my head as I scoop my ice cream and put it straight into my mouth.

“Clyde will get jealous and… he will be cold towards Sean.”

“He will be cold towards me not Sean, you’re a damn idiot.”

“That’s why let’s make a bet.”

“Oh come on Beverly.”

“No!” Suddenly my phone rang and I bet it’s Mr. Han because he will be the only one who always calls me at night. He loves to make an emergency meeting which a little bit annoying.

“Yes, Mr. Han.”

“I’m not your boss.” My body froze and I turned to Becca in horror again. I mouthed ‘Clyde’

“Oh sorry, wrong number.” I ended the call right away and blocked his number right away. I threw my phone in horror and held my ice cream tub tightly.

“You’re an idiot!” Becca pushed my head and I kicked her leg.

“Becca!” She took my phone.

“What are you doing?” I tried to reach my phone but she ran away. She’s doing something to it and I threw a pillow to her. She smirked snd threw my phone back.

“What did you do?” I asked and she unblocked Clyde’s number. Oh my gosh! She sent a message to Clyde too.

Meet me at the central park tomorrow before going to the morning glory.

I sent him another message…

I sent the message and blocked him again. I shut my phone off and sighed. I threw it to the sofa.

“Why? You’re nervous.”

“No.”

“Ooookay.” She smirked and then she walked into her room.

“I hate you!” I bursted.

“Me too.”
