3RD POV

“Who is that little whore you brought back to this house?” That was the first thing Derek heard the moment his feet landed in his room.

He glared at Emily, the lady his mother wanted him to marry at the next moon festival, and his mood dampened drastically.

“I heard you’ve regained your voice, so because of that, Derek, you think you can bring any lady you like into this castle?” She asked, glaring at Derek, who refused to reply.

“Derek, I’m talking to you!”

“Emily, get out!” Derek said curtly as he removed his shirt, getting ready for his night bath.

Ohhhhh. That is the first word you have to say to me now that you’ve regained your voice, huh? After everything I’ve done for you, Derek. I was with you when no one wanted to be with you. Derek looked at the pitiful face Emily had pulled. He knew her too well to know that her tears were all fake. He didn’t have any feelings for her, nor did he want to marry her. She was being forced on him by his mom and her parents, and she always threw herself at him.

“Whatever we had going on is over, Emily.”

“Get out, Emily!” And with that, Emily stomped out of Derek’s room and made her way. to the room where Annabelle was staying. When she got to the room, the first thing she did was land a dirty slap on Annabelle’s face, shocking both Annabelle and her maid.

“You… You’re the little piece of shit that wants to ruin what I’ve tried to build for years. now, huh?”

Annabelle was shocked and didn’t know what to say or do. She held her face in shock and fury, glaring at the elegantly looking woman whose eyes flashed with venomous. anger as if wanting to kill her.

“You think you can just waltz in here and steal Derek away from me? Let me remind you who you are. You’re nothing but a piece of property to him, a plaything to be used and discarded when he’s done with you. I hate you!” With force, Emily pushed Annabelle to the floor, making Annabelle groan in pain.

Suddenly, blood started dripping from Annabelle’s body profusely, scaring everyone.

Emily’s body shook with fear of what she had just done.

Annabelle groaned in pain as blood dripped from her thigh.

“Nooo!” Annabelle screamed in pain as she realized what was happening to her. She was losing her baby, which was making her drip with blood.

Emily’s face turned white, her eyes fixed on the bloody scene before her. She took a step back, her hand shaking. She was scared, scared of what she had done. Not wanting to be blamed, she ran out of the scene, leaving Annabelle in pain with her maid.

Annabelle groaned loudly, the excruciating pain enveloping her body as blood gushed out of her, which alerted other servants in the castle.

The moment Derek heard the loud cry from Annabelle’s room, which was two rooms away from his, he ran out to meet her.

When he got to Annabelle’s room, he was shocked to see her in a pool of blood. His body shook with fear upon seeing Annabelle in a pool of blood, and a strange sensation. washed over him.

“What… what… is happening here?” He stuttered, his voice trembling with fear. The sight of blood always traumatized him.

“Alpha? Alpha! You shouldn’t be here. Omega Fay. Close the door. The Alpha mustn’t see this, the head Omega instructed another lowly servant who was standing by the

door.

Annabelle groaned out loudly, which tore Derek’s heart to pieces.

Even though Derek was afraid of the sight of blood, he couldn’t bear to see Annabelle in deep pain. Not again.

“Fuck it!” Derek groaned and pushed the door open, not caring when the lowly servant almost fell to the floor while trying to stop him..

He ran to Annabelle, despite the fact that she was in a pool of blood, and carried her out of the room.

“Alpha! Alpha!” The servants called after him, they were all screaming about what might happen to Alpha Derek now that he was holding someone who was covered in blood.

“Open the damn gates, she needs to go to the pack’s hospital now!” Derek screamed at the guards.

“Yes, Alpha.” The guards bowed and ran to open the castle’s gate.

Emily ran out from her room seeing Derek carrying bloody Annabelle.

“Derek, it’s so late at night. You should allow the servants to take her to the hospital. Remember, you’re scared of blood! You shouldn’t be carrying that filth!” Emily said, trying to stop Derek from taking Annabelle to the pack’s hospital, but with one glare from Derek, Emily knew she had to back out.

venom.

He overheard the servants whispering among themselves about how Emily had pushed Annabelle, and he knew just what he would do to Emily if anything happened to his long–lost love, who he cherished more than his life.
