Where is Haris?
Tonight, Nova is not working as a street busker. She was creating an interesting lesson for her students who had started to read. Nova wanted to make a little guessing game about words from paper for blind people to make it easier to remember how to arrange a word into a sentence by adding piece after piece of paper that the girl would give. While she was writing words on the paper, her grandmother suddenly approached Nova. Bringing a tray of food containing snacks and milk for the girl to fill her granddaughter’s stomach who wanted to go to work, she thought.
Ceklek!
The door opened, the grandmother was a bit surprised because Nova, who was usually prepared with a jacket or hoodie combined with her long jeans and also the guitar that she always carried, this time the grandmother did not see it at all.
“Nova, aren’t you working tonight?” Asked the grandmother who then walked over to her granddaughter to get closer to her study table. She placed the tray on the nightstand near Nova’s bed.
“No, Grandmother. I’m taking today off from busking. I have a plan so that the Foundation’s children can better remember every sentence and word in braille writing.” Nova said facing her grandmother who was already behind her sitting.
“Ah… No wonder you didn’t leave the room at all. Usually at this hour you’re already fussing about finding shoes, or something suitable for your singing performance.” The grandmother quipped as she smiled and looked Nova squarely in the eye.
“Oh yeah, that boy who helped Grandmother the other day, haven’t you seen him again?” She said with a smile. Instantly Nova stopped her activities.
“I met him, but he already has a girlfriend, Grandmother. I met him when I was busking at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah.” Nova said.
“Yes? Then what did you talk about with her?”
“It’s okay, I was just asking about a man I liked to the young man who had helped us with our debt, and it turned out that the man was his best friend.” She widened her eyes. It turned out that the tall man who had helped her that time had a best friend.
“You mean, Mr. Haris has a best friend?” She asked with an increasingly curious frown.
“Yes, I like his best friend, Grandma.” Nova replied with her best smile. However, the smile soon faded when she couldn’t win the heart of her best friend Haris.
“That’s fine, you can like anyone.”This is from NôvelDrama.Org.
“But the problem is, first of all, Mr. Haris and his best friend are both older than me, their ages are very far from mine, Grandma. Also plus Mr. Gifer, the best friend of Mr. Haris already has a girlfriend.” Said Nova who immediately shed her tears. Nova also bit her lower lip. That of course did not go unnoticed by her grandmother.
“Shh, never mind… There are not only one or two men in our country. Find another one, Nova.” She suggested while embracing Nova’s small body, which was still crying.
“Oh yeah, I haven’t turned off the stove yet. I’ll leave first.” She released her embrace when she remembered the stove she had forgotten to turn off and left Nova alone in the room, closing the door again. When she had moved away from the door, Nova took out a doll from the drawer of her study table. The doll that Gifer had given her back then.
“Huh… I don’t know why it’s so hard to forget you, should I forget you, Mr. Gifer?” She said while hugging the doll and crying silently.

Heavy rain poured down on Jakarta this morning. Around 6:30 am, it was the perfect time to start the day by going to work while enjoying the nature. But this time it was not possible at all because of the rain that suddenly came down with a large group of people. Blocking the activities of people who want to go to college and work.
The rain this time was a bit different, really like water spilled from the distant sky above. The water that fell was no joke, very much, even accompanied by the sounds of thunderous thunder. The air was also getting colder due to the rain this morning, making a man who usually gets ready at this hour, this time did not want to move from his bed at all.
The man had been awake since earlier, but knowing that it was raining heavily after he had opened the curtains of his room, he decided to go back to his bed and cover himself again.
“Aissh, why am I so lazy after living in New York?” The man said. Yes, he was Gifer who wanted to go to work but his laziness got the better of him this time.
Gifer looked at the window that was already wet with rainwater. blinked his eyes a few times and his brain suddenly thought of something.
“Mr. Kevin, I should thank him for sending Belvina to New York. Maybe if there was no Belvina, I don’t know if I would have been able to calm my temper or not. I’m grateful that Mr. Kevin sent Belvina, and my heart is calm again.” Gifer’s monologue.
“Aren’t you going today? Why do I get so lazy when it rains in the morning like this?” Gifer sighed.
“I’ll go to Haris’ room first, just in case I find an answer.” Gifer decided, then the man pulled back his blanket, getting out of his sleeping position. Coming out of the room and he could see, Haris’ room was still closed, it was a sign that the man didn’t seem to be awake yet.
“Haris, are you awake?” Gifer shouted with a fairly loud voice. Because if he just knocked on the door, Haris wouldn’t wake up either. There was absolutely no sound from inside. That made Gifer surprised, of course with a confused frown.
“Is Haris in the shower? Why didn’t he answer at all?” Gifer said. Gifer decided to try opening the door to Haris’ room. He looked at the whole room which was very tidy. Surprisingly, Haris was no longer in his bed.
Check!
“Where is that Haris?” Gifer’s monologue frowned even more. Gifer tried to bang the door of the toilet located in that room.
“Ris? Are you in there?” Gifer asked. No one answered either. The toilet door was opened and it was also unlocked. Gifer began to enter, there he did not see Haris at all. There was no one.
“Oh my, there’s no one here either. Where exactly is Haris? Isn’t he dating Anggi? It’s impossible for Gifer to go on a date at this hour, right? What a strange creature. No way, Haris must have gone somewhere else. But why is it raining like this?” Gifer’s question this time did not find an answer at all. Gifer suddenly found a solution to his problem.
“I’ll just call you.” Gifer immediately ran to his room and took his cell phone.

“Come on, pick it up, Ris.” Gifer said while biting his fingernails. Gifer just didn’t want anything to happen again to his best friend like that time when he was almost hit by a car from Nara’s men. But to no avail, Gifer’s hopes were dashed, Haris didn’t pick up his phone at all.
“Where are you, Ris?”
