No One Knows Calamity
The sound of chickens crowing while running here and there, coupled with the rays of the sun that was just about to emerge from behind the thick white clouds, was increasingly eager to show its form. The moon, which usually shines clearly with its yellow light, is now starting to fade, replaced by its thinning pale white form. The stars seemed to be swallowed by the earth, disappearing into thin air.
Let’s not forget the blue of the sky that has begun to decorate the colors up there, far away, which never gets tired of displaying its distinctive colors that indicate that this morning is so bright, as bright as the hopes of a young man who is getting ready to leave for his office. The promotion in the form of a bazaar this time had really been carried out carefully together with Mr. Kevin.
Like this morning, Gifer and Haris were already busy leaving earlier than usual. Even though he had mobilized all his employees and staffs to prepare everything, still as a boss Gifer had to leave early. Currently, the man was waiting for Haris who was taking a shower in his apartment room. Meanwhile, Gifer himself was already prepared and was putting on his tie while calling someone.
“If you were here, my tie would have been neatly tied around my neck, dear.”
“Yes, that’s why, I can’t wear it, it’s not that I can’t, it’s just not neat enough. Oh yeah, will you come to the bazaar later?”
“Ah, you can’t. Well, no problem, if you come with Anggi you might get fired by your boss, Mr. Ian.”
That was the conversation on the phone that Gifer answered from his girlfriend, Belvina. As Gifer had heard from the phone, it seemed that Belvina would not be able to attend the bazaar this time. And Gifer could only surrender, even though the man really expected the presence of his girlfriend. Gifer threw the cell phone with the apple logo onto his king-size bed and adjusted his tie again. It didn’t take long, the man was already neat and ready to leave the room and call Haris.
“Haris, are you ready?” He shouted from the front of the living room while putting on his socks, after checking what had been left in his room.
“Combing my hair, Gif.” Haris shouted from inside his room, who soon came out to meet Gifer. He was still holding the comb to comb his hair.
“Oh my gosh, the shower took so long. Ritual, right?” Gifer quipped while putting on his shoes.
“Heh, just negative thinking. No, it’s not the right time for a ritual. Besides, we have an event right now, it’s not calm to perform the ritual.”
“Hahahha, who knows.” Gifer’s eyes immediately glanced at Haris briefly while laughing showing his white teeth. Then he returned to his shoes.
“No Gifer, I overslept earlier.” Haris tried to explain so that his friend wouldn’t misunderstand.
“Oh I see. Let’s go.” Gifer started to stand up from his sitting position and straightened his clothes.
“Heh, wait, I haven’t put on my tie yet.” Haris went back to his room to get his tie and put it on immediately.
“Yes, I’ll wait, but hurry up. Oh yeah, I forgot my watch too.” Gifer immediately walked to his room to get his silver-colored watch which was in his dressing table drawer. Looking at his face in a large mirror for a while, touching his cheeks which were already pure white and smooth without any blemish.
“There aren’t any scratches, right?” Gifer also adjusted the hair that had been covering his forehead, styling it a little more to make it look masculine.
“It’s ready, let’s go.” Gifer said. But immediately his eyes glanced at the bed which turned out to have a cell phone that had been thrown earlier.
“Oh my, I almost left my cell phone behind.” Gifer scowled at himself while picking up the cell phone, then went out of his room, put the cell phone in his bag that he had brought to the living room earlier. He had also prepared his car keys on the living room sofa.
“Ris, are you still long?” She asked Haris who hadn’t come out of his room yet.
“It’ll be a while, Gif.”
“Ok, hurry up.”
Shortly after, Haris came out with his briefcase, looking very dashing in Gifer’s eyes. Yes, of course because Haris was taller than Gifer.
“Let’s go.”
“Ready.”

Arriving at a bazaar building, Gifer and Haris had just gotten out of their car and were greeted by staff and employees who were still preparing things for the bazaar. Yes, the inter-company bazaar was not held in the open, but in a closed place like this building. Certainly not the building that was used for the introduction of WR Bank’s heir.
This is a different building, called the Shinning Doll building which consists of two floors. It was clear from the name that the building still belonged to Mr. Kevin. It was indeed used for press conferences with US clients. Gifer and Haris immediately entered the extremely spacious building, of course they only used the ground floor, not the upper floor.
All the preparations were ready, Gifer was still arranging the necessary parts of the stand to introduce the dolls with the new design but in the shape of animals. Even so, dolls with the shape of cartoon characters were also still displayed at the stand, only maybe a few. The others were still animal-shaped dolls.
The invited guests are all people who want to come to buy, but have been limited per hour to a few people who can enter the room for a few minutes. Not waiting long, Mr. Kevin came to meet Gifer who was directing the staff and other employees until he didn’t realize the arrival of the middle-aged man who was standing behind him. Because he felt that Gifer did not realize his presence, Mr. Kevin tried to touch Gifer’s right shoulder. Instantly, the sweet man shook his head in surprise.
“Oh? Mr. Kevin, you’re here. Why didn’t you just call me?”
“No, I don’t want to disturb your activities.”
“Ah, of course not, Mr. Kevin. Oh yes, now we can start, right?”
“Yes, we can. There are already many people waiting outside.”
“Ah, are they that enthusiastic?”
“Yes, probably the moms who have a toddler will be here soon to buy a doll.”
“That’s right, Mr. Kevin.”
The staff began to serve the arriving guests and of course there was also a welcome and opening ceremony with entertainment provided by the company.
From a distance, two suspicious men with stern faces and well-built bodies could be seen. Both of them were entering the room where the bazaar was held to find out what was being sold at the bazaar between Mr. Kevin and Gifer’s company. After giving a speech, Gifer found his phone ringing.
Gifer had indeed asked Haris to distribute brochures to the streets, just like yesterday. So, Gifer assumed that the person calling was his best friend. Since the bazaar place was getting crowded, Gifer could only feel the vibration of his cell phone that kept ringing in his office coat pocket. Gifer walked out of the room, looking for a quiet place around the building so that there would be no disturbing sound when he received the call. He stood in the lobby of the building where there was a floor with a large box. The floor was shaped like the logo of the Shinning Doll company not far from the stairs. There was indeed a very large and luxurious lamp installed beautifully up there. Without looking at his cell phone, Gifer simply pressed the green button and swiped it, then put the phone to his right ear.
“Yes? What’s wrong, Haris?” The person on the other side didn’t answer at all. Gifer began to get confused and checked who had called him, it turned out to be an unknown number. Curiosity began to rise in him to want to make sure who was calling on the other side. Gifer put his cell phone back to his ear.
“Hello, who is this? If there’s no need…” Before Gifer could continue his sentence, suddenly someone shouted his name.
“GIFER MOVE!!!” Mr. Kevin shouted from a distance which warned Gifer. How could he not, the big lamp above him suddenly fell down, and Mr. Kevin saw it clearly. The middle-aged man immediately ran to push Gifer’s body until the sweet man’s body swayed forward so he wouldn’t be hit by the lamp, but unfortunately, before saving himself, the lamp had hit Mr. Kevin’s body first until it fell to the floor. That certainly made Gifer panic like crazy. His eyes were wide open and at that moment, Haris had just entered the lobby who apparently saw the incident.
“NO!!! MR. KEVIN!!!” Gifer shouted loudly, making people who were inside the bazaar room flocked out of the room.
Mr. Kevin’s head immediately bled profusely when hit by the lamp. everyone panicked while covering their mouths with both hands. Haris was no exception who was so shocked to see the incident.
