Be My Naked Love

The dead had risen.

The long forgotten man stood directly in front of the house. They all looked each other’s faces in quick successions. They could not believe he was really alive and was directly right at their doorstep.

“How-, How are you here?!”, Trey asked.

“Let’s just say dying so easily is never going to be my thing”, the man answered.

“Where is she?”, he asked immediately.

“None of your business and she’s not going to see you!, so go back to your grave”, Miles interrupted.

“What is it with you young man?”, Selma asked Miles.

Miles ignored her. Trey gesturing his hand asked the mystery man to come into the house.

“Trey, you are letting him in?!, do you even trust him?!”, Miles asked.

“Miles!, Miles!!, Miles!!”, Trey said with a loud tone. He was already getting pissed with the way Miles has been acting since he got to the house.

“Where is Lance and Vanessa?!”, the man said out loud.

Silence ruled over the room. They all kept staring at each other.

“Someone should answer me!!”, the man said, already angered by the intense silence when he asked after Vanessa.

“You really want to know. Well she-“,

“Miles!!”, Trey shouted as he interrupted Miles.

“She’s not here. She is in Italy”, Trey answered the man.

“What!!!”, the man said out loud.

“How?, Why?, Since when?, Where is Lance?”, the man asked immediately.

“She is married, Lance is dying!”, Miles said. Trey jumped up and punched Miles right in to his face with a lower jab.

“My father is not dying. My sister is not get married to a mad man”, Trey shouted at Miles who was still trying to recover from the punch.

“Babe, calm down”, Selma said pulling Trey towards her.

“Let them continue till someone answers me”, the man said.

“What Miles said is true”, Selma informed the man.

Trey looked at her right in the eye, stood up and left for the bedroom.

“Babe!”, Selma said running after him. She was late as he slammed the door behind him and locked it immediately.

“I know that is why you are acting this way. You let her leave your hands, so blame yourself”, the man said to Miles.

Miles jumped up from the chair and tried to punch the man, but the man pulled out a gun and pointed it to him. Immediately, Miles resisted and sat down back.

“We are going to get her back”, the man said in an authoritative and assured tone.

It was the next morning and they were immediately set to leave for Italy. Trey and Selma were definitely staying back to keep eyes on Lance who is still at the hospital.

“My driver would be here by eight o’clock this morning”, the man said. It was still past six o’clock in the morning. They all had coffee and toast for breakfast.

Trey could barely get some sleep. He only spent his night sick and worried about his sister and father.

“We are going into the Lion’s Den”, Miles announced.

“You do not have to be scared. If we are going to the Lion’s Den, we ourselves become lions”, the man answered sipping more a little water from his bottle.

“Don’t you dare say that, you are immortal doesn’t mean I am”, Miles said staring at him furiously.

“You can stay back and I’d tell her you are fine. I will also tell her you are happy without her”, the man said in laughing. He knew obviously that it would have Miles triggered and the young man did not disappoint.

“Fine, I am going. If anything happens to me, I’d haunt you till death”, Miles threatened.

“You can’t even face Vanessa, you are threatening me”, the man added laughing really loud. Trey and Selma giggled too. Miles angrily stood up and went outside the house.

“He is going to be fine, trust me”, the man assured Trey and Selma.

“We are going to have lots of quarters and arguments on the way though, but i will handle him”, he added.

Andre got to the house and was really troubled about the man that went over his fence. It has been twenty six minutes and none of the guards confirmed the man had gotten to the building.

“Where is Vanessa?!”, Andre asked.

“Where is she?!”, he asked again.

“We don’t know sir”, the guards murmured silently.

“What!!, look for her now!!!”, Andre ordered.

Vanessa had locked herself up in one of the bathrooms panicking hard. Her breathing was heavy. She sensed trouble.

“Sir!!”, one of his personal guards called out.

” Is it about Vanessa?”, Andre asked.

“No sir”, the guard answered.

“Then what?!, Speak up and don’t waste my time.”, he ordered.

“She’s gone”, the guard said in a mild tone.

Took Andre some seconds to realize his mother was in the hospital. The doctor had just called for Andre to pick up the lifeless body. Andre fell to the floor and all that was seen was endless drops from his eyes to the floor. She was actually all he had.

Vanessa saw this from one of the windows, she rushed to him and gave him a hug. She tried calming him. It was almost to no avail, until she raised his head up and gave him a kiss on his lip.

Andre was shocked but it did not stop him from enjoying the moment. The kiss lasted for approximately a minute and some seconds, but it was worth every bit of that time.

“We are set to go, that should be my driver knocking”, the man said to Trey and Selma.

“No, that is not him”, Selma answered.

It left a shock to each of them faces. Trey especially.

“Then who is it?”, the men all asked.

“You can come in”, Selma shouted to the soul behind the door.

As the door knob turned, it created tension to the trio. A man of about six feet tall, well dressed, well trimmed hair and wore a face of elegancy stepped in.

Of course, Miles was the first to react.

“What!!! Another dead man is reportedly alive and seen in this house”, he said out loud.

“Still no change Miles”, the good looking man said to Miles.

Selma and Trey walked up to him and greeted him.

“Welcome Asher, it has been a while”, Trey said as he hugged him.

“This is a mission Vanessa is coming home soon”, Selma said.

“Who is ready for the Italy trip?!”, Asher said out loud, showing the expensive ride he drove in.

“Hey”, the first man said to Asher.

“Who are you please?”, Asher asked.

“He is the guy I told you about. Vanessa’s male best friend who was announced shot fighting thugs for Vanessa and her coward boyfriend. Sorry ex-boyfriend”, Selma informed Asher.

“Asher meet Dean, Vanessa’s male best friend”, Selma said, introducing him.

“Dean, Asher – a good friend of Vanessa’s. Maybe her real husband to be also”, she added.

This pissed Miles as he gave Selma a devil stare.

“How the hell are you both alive??!”, Miles shouted in disbelief.
