Katherine moved to her speaker and played a rap song by Drake.

The song boomed to life, setting the whole room in vibration.

She has sets her phone in between the ring light.

The camera has been turned on too.

“Get up, Jammie. Time to shake off those fears. Let’s dance!”

Jammie moved the novel he was reading up to cover his face.

Katherine huffs before marching towards him.

She yanked the book away and pulled him up.

“I would schedule the video to be released tomorrow’s night. Should you die, Jammie, Wouldn’t it be nice to have some people mourn over you?. I know you’re shy but quit that now. Your death is tomorrow, anyways. While your spirit is ascending to heaven, wouldn’t it be nice to hear people’s condolences?. “Oh, James was a good man.” “I got to know him from Katherine.” “He is way gentle, who could have killed him?” “Silent people are silent killers, you know.’ “she expounded.

James perked up his brows at her.

“Have you been planning for my death, Kathy?”his face crumpled up.

“No, but, it is sure good to die as a good heartthrob.”she pushed him to the camera.

*Yea.. Keisha, do you love me, are you riding, so..*the music plays on.

Jack sighed and rolled his eyes as he watched Katherine as she twisted her body, melodiously.

Before he knew it, he has started dancing too.

“Sensei, the drugs has arrived at Maverick’s place successfully. When should we make a move?”a guy cladded in a white and black outfits, informed the man who busied himself with feeding the fishes in the small pond in the compound.

“Don’t you have any plan of reviving our organization again?.”

The master turned to the guy and raised a brow.

“What has stealing marijuana got to do with the organization??”he raised a brow.

The guy sighed.

“Well, we still have abled fighters with us. There is Elena with the magic, I and John with the superpowers, and a few more. We can conquer them, sensei. Those men knows nothing but guns! Without their guns, they would be easy to take down.”

“Don’t be too ambitious, Ralph. I don’t want any of my disciples getting hurt again.”his master shook his head.

“So, now, what do we do?. Just sit still?”Ralph scoffs.

“If we give the marijuana to Rodriguez, he could help us make Ganilee flourish again. However, since we are short on manpower, we should use our brains.

It’s a sure thing that we are not the only one eyeing the marijuana in Maverick’s possession. Several others who seek Rodriguez’s help would have eyes on it too.

Let’s wait for those people to take the risk, then, we hijack it from them once they are out. Sounds good, hun?”

Ralph grinned.

“It does. If we can get our hands on that, we can indeed return Ganilee back on her feet.”

“To the ladies, cheers. Tomorrow is your day.”Kain’s deep voice enveloped the room in its attractive effect.

The women ululated.

“If you can’t get the drugs?”he smirks.

“We get the d! cks!”they yelled in unison.

“The marijuana in Maverick’s hand is a golden one. Should we get our hands on it, forget about having the cops after you, cause once we hand that over to Rodriguez, he would do whatever we ask of him.”Kain enthused.

“What if he is planning to send his boys there too?”Freya strained her eyes.

Kain turned to her and chuckled.

“Uncultured but cultured! Rest assured, people. Rodriguez would never do that. Also, he knew people is trying to get on his good side and anyone found in this section would probably try to make him happy by grabbing the treasure for him.”

“But.. boss, Maverick is ruthless. What..”Freya worried again.

“No buts again, Freya. To answer your question, Maverick wouldn’t be home tomorrow. We don’t necessarily have to go through the troubles with his boys too. We can just wait for the brave ones to go in there then we snatch the package from them when they comes out.”

Freya nodded gently.

“Do you think Katherine would come?”

Kain tutted.

“I don’t know that.”

The Next Day.

The blaring alarm, coupled with the sounds of leaves rustling together woke Katherine up.

“Ugh.. the darn tree again. Why isn’t the landlady cutting it down?”she hissed as she tucked out of the blanket and stretched her body.

She stared out of the cool atmosphere and huffed.

“Such a good day to die.”she got up from her bed and went to the restroom.

She brushed her teeth, took her bath then checked the time.

The BOSS said Maverick would leave the house by 9:00am and she was to get there by 10:00am.

The time is still 8:09 though.

She got her things ready nevertheless.

One can never tell. The plan might change.

She wore her trouser that has four pockets.

She kept her gun and table knife in the upper pockets respectively.

She puts gunpowder and extra bullets in the third and fourth one.

She wore a hoodie on top.

She kept pepper spray in the pocket and a tear gas.

She slipped her legs into her long boots.

She picked her mask and exits the room.

“Did you had a nightmare in the night?”James questioned as soon as he spotted her coming inside the kitchen.

Katherine glared at him.

“What are you trying to say, Jammie?”

“Because you’re dressed exactly like a nightmare.”he chuckled.

She scoffed, getting on the chair.

“What are you cooking?”

“Just a simple one – Bacon and eggs.”he responded.

“You don’t have to make it simple, you know.”

“We are gonna die today.”James was getting bummed up again.

“Yea, but our lives ain’t simple. I don’t think we would die tho. I mean, you might die but I definitely won’t. I’m being positive here.”she picked an apple from the bowl and digged her teeths into it.

“Do you hate me that much?”James frowns.

She wished for her own survival but not his?

“What you’re doing is more dangerous than mine. Tryna mess around with Rodriguez?, consider yourself dead.”she snapped her fingers.

“And what if I make it out in a single piece?”he raised a brow at her.

“Then, I would say you’re so jammy. And I would give you a perquisite of a good s$x time.”she beamed.

James hissed and shook his head.

“All you know is s$x. If you’re a graduate, I would have been convinced that you went to study s$x in college.”

“That’s the only way to experience pleasure and joy in my life, buddy. How about we make a promise not to die and if we survive, we would copulate together?!”she winked at him.

James heaved a sigh before continuing with what he was doing.

“Huh?, sailor moon?”she teased.

“I changed my mind. I’m done cooking!”he turned off the cooker and slammed the spoon in his hand on the counter.

“Sailor moon?!!”Katherine dramatically yelled as he walks away.
