Chapter 10 Live with him
Chapter 10 Live with him
Ella didn't care live with him. They have got the marriage certificates anyway.
It doesn't matter whether they show others they are couples or not.
Because her marriage has been known to her aunt, and her relatives will never introduce somebody for her again.
At last she could enjoy a quiet life.
Devin's house is on the fifth floor.
It's an eighteen-story residential building.
When they arrived, Devin open the door, then went in and she followed.
When Ella entered the house, she found that the room was quite large, with more than 140 square meters, three bedrooms, one kitchen and two bathrooms, the balcony was facing the sunshine.
But the decoration of the house is not so exquisite. It's simply pasted with a layer of light yellow wallpaper with dark lines and a LCD TV on the wall.
Ivory leather sofa.
The curtains are also light white.
The room is clean. It seems that it is not a room where people often live.
Devin looked at her standing still at the entrance and said, "There are slippers in the shoe cabinet."
Ella put down her suitcase, then bent to open the shoe cabinet, took the slippers from it: "They ‘re all men’s."
"There are no women at home. Tomorrow you would go to the supermarket to buy a pair of women's. You could only wear them tonight first."
Ella didn't care about it, so she took a new pair of men's slippers and put them on. Têxt belongs to NôvelDrama.Org.
The shoes were a little big. She dragged her suitcase into the living room.
Ella saw the bedroom which is used as a study, then looked at the two bedrooms opposite the door in the back, saying: "I live on the side."
After that, she took her luggage and went into the empty side-lying room.
As soon as she took a step, Devin reached over the suitcase and said, "Since you’re my wife, of course live the master's bedroom."
As he spoke, he pulled the suitcase to the main bedroom.
There was a big bed, light blue curtains in the master bedroom. There was nothing on the big balcony.
Ella twisted her eyebrows: "But..."
"I have no intention of separating from you now," Devin said, and putting the suitcase by the bed, opening the wardrobe and facing her. "Put your clothes next to mine."
Ella twisted her eyebrows gently, bit her lip, and did as he said.
After that, Devin did not stay, but went out into the living room.
Ella didn't care what he did, but she heard a slight noise coming from the kitchen.
When the clothes had been put away, she went out of the bedroom to look for him.
It happened that he was looking out of the kitchen.
Devin saw her coming out and said, "Just eat together. I made beef noodles."
Ella sniffed her nose, smelled noodles and beef, she was instantly hungry. When she back home from the hospital, she was so busy packing that she forgot to eat.
She went over and sat down at the table. Devin handed her a pair of chopsticks.
She accepted it spontaneously, but accidentally touched Devin's fingertips while picking up chopsticks.
Devin's eyebrows wrinkled slightly. Ella took her chopsticks back and her face was calm, but her heart felt a little faster.
Add up the noodles and take a sip. The hungry stomach immediately feels satisfied.
The beef was cut and put on the noodles. It was fragrant and the weight was enough.
When she finished all the noodles in one breath, she found Devin was still eating slowly crossed her.
As Devin picked up the noodles, he began to ask her, "Are your three meals as doctors not regular? Look at you just hungry like a refugee."
Ella wiped her mouth before she said, "Sometimes when you do an operation, you forget to be hungry."
"Really?"
Ella smiled. “Does a patient's life matter more than a meal?”
Listening to Ella, Devin fixed his eyes on her.
Ella put away the chopsticks and bowls, then went into the kitchen. "I will wash the dishes and go to bed first. I have to go to work tomorrow."
Devin lowered his eyes and hid his deep look. He answered, "Well."
