Chapter 59: Spark ii

Laughing hard, “no dear. You haven’t started learning. Better contact the best of Lawyers in town, because you need to get out of this mess as soon as possible. Your scandal irritate me.

“I will Lord Lin! Please trust me. Don’t leave me and soon, we will be over this.” he begged.

In three seconds, the phone call ended, leaving him to the quiet atmosphere in the room.

The was one of if not only, the worst night of his life where he felt like it was already over for him.

All through that night, he was sleepless as he thought of what to do about his life.

And soon, by the time he looked up at the sky again through his window, it was already morning.

He didn’t really slept the night before.

It took him so long to move out of that spot as he had been standing there for hours. It was so bad for him.

After what seemed like forever, he moved out of the spot and walked straight into his bathroom.

When he came out, he saw that the exclusive chefs he had hired didn’t serve him breakfast. The was not willing to eat, but looking at the dinning area, it was empty unlike how it used to be.

He smirked and made his way to his car.

He would come out of this! And by the time he would solve this, he would ensure that those incompetent servants live the rest of their lives miserably. He muttered to himself and started the car.

Anita woke up feeling a bit better than the night before as she stretched before turning her head to the other side of the bed to check Kate.

Surprisingly, Kate was fully awake already as she dressed her hair facing the mirror.

“You woke quite early today.” she said a bit loud to her hearing.

“Yes, I will be going to the station this morning.” Kate replied her with a slight smile.

“Oh! Any new update?”

“That makes sense too. I will play my part. What do you think?” she said and asked.

“I can’t thank you enough.” Kate said and packed up her hair.

“I got you girl. You have no idea how much!”

“I have an idea girl. I love you so much.”

Laughing, “I love you too darling.”

Anita hurriedly entered the bathroom and freshened up.

When she was done, she quickly made breakfast for everyone and they are happily.

Anita then got into the car with Cass and Anita as the driver prepared to drive them out.

“Drop me at Sass Media Home.” Anita said to the driver.

“I’m aware ma’am. Sir Cass already gave me the instructions.” the driver turned to her and said.

Anita eyebrow raised.

Looking at the driver, he seemed very free with them.

She loved the energy in the car.

When the driver got to Sass Media Home, he stopped the car.

Anita took a deep breath before turning to look at Kate.

“Where are the lawyers?” she asked.

“They are already at the station waiting for us to show up.”

“Good then. I wish you good luck. Take good care of yourself. Have a great day Cass!” she said and came out of the car as they waved her goodbye.

Immediately the car drove off, she turned to enter the building when she jammed no other than Thomas.

Anita froze for a second and in the next second, one could easily see the disgust that appeared on her face.

He had already blocked her way of passing, so she stood there ready to confront him.

This man does not really care about her. Like how could he even have the audacity to appear at her face after abandoning her?

“Anita!”

“Yes??? How may I help you stranger?”

“Hey! I’m not a stranger. I am Thomas, your man.”

Laughing, “well the last time I checked, I am single so where could you have appeared from?” she asked looking confused.

“Stop this Anita! We need to talk.” Thomas was already sick of testing to reason with her even though he really don’t want to.

“No we don’t. At least not right now. I have a lot to do.”

“Anita, nothing is more important than what I have to say to you right now.”

“Well, but at least, my job is or don’t you think so?” she asked.

“Listen…”

“Anita Madam Cass needs to see you right now. She is upstairs in her office waiting for you.” Andre’s voice sounded from behind.

“Oh okay! Right away!” Anita said and ran into the building leaving Andre and Thomas.

Thomas was already so pissed at what Thomas just did, because even him knew that was a blatant lie.

“How dare you? You piece of shit! You will regret this Andre.” he spat and walked into his car and drove away in anger.

“We shall see then.” he muttered and walked into the building.

Anita was already in her office as she placed one hand on her waist and the other on her forehead as she thought of what was going on.

She could only pray that no serious exchange was going on down the building.

She didn’t want Andre to risk his job trying to protect her, but Andre didn’t give her the chance to worry and withing few minutes of her standing, her office door opened and there comes Andre.

When she saw him, it felt like a big weight had just been lifted off her shoulders. She felt so happy.

Without knowing what she was doing, she ran to him and hugged him tight.

“It’s alright Anita!” he whispered to her as he rubbed her back helping her to calm down.

Soon, she let go and the first thing that came out of her mouth was “Thank you!” she said with a cracked tone.
