Chapter 52: Station

“You should let her do what she wants. I think it’s time we do what is right. Contact my men and put them on duty right away. In 24hours, I want my woman found.” Andre said

Cass froze.

“Master, your woman?”

“I don’t care about what you think right now. I will make her mine. I don’t know how, but I will try.” he said and left the building.

Cass then made some phone calls and took a deep breath.

Who ever it was that was playing game should have up, because his master had stepped in.

Kate got dressed for the say and made her way to the police station.

When she got to the gate, her heart dropped.

She wondered if she was going to succeed in this.

Joining her palms together, she made a silent prayer and walked into the cell.

She met a police officer on her way in.

“Hello Miss! What do you need?” An officer asked.

“Hi Sir! I want to see Officer Eric. I need to report something to him.” she said a bit sad as she lowered her voice.

“If you have anything to report, you know what to do, you don’t need to see officer Eric.”

“Please sir, I need to see him.”

“You can’t. Not right now. Please leave if you have nothing to say.”

“Sir, I really…”

“What is it? Who are you?” Officer Eric asked as he walked towards them.

“Sir, this young lady said she want to see you to report something.”

“So?”

“Sir, I was trying to apply my senses for security purposes.”

“A young lady looking distress came to see me and you choose to leave her out? Don’t do it again.”

“Yes sir!”

“Young lady follow me.” he said and walked into his office.

Kate heaved a sigh of relief and followed him in.

Kate sat down when permitted to in the wide but simple office as she starred at officer Eric with a glimmer of hope in her eyes.

After going through some documents, he pushed them aside and looked at Kate.

“What is it that you want to report to me?” he asked her as he paid her attention as he started recording the conversation.

“So what about him?”

“I started dating him few weeks ago almost immediately I ended my relationship with my ex. During the dating period, I notice that for some reasons unknown to me, I always felt the need to have sec with him. Either after I have eaten or after a conversation. So after we broke up, he unknowingly confessed that he drugged me multiple times just to have me in his bed. I’m so heartbroken.” she said, sobbing as she continued.

“I had once found drugs in his room, so I believe it, plus the sexual urges were out of the ordinary.”

By the to. e she had finished her statement, tears had already filled her eyes.

“Please Officer Eric. I know you are a man of honour. You genuinely care about your people and that us why I want to plead that you take up this case and help me get justice. Liam is a well connected man, but I’m sure that with you involved, he would have to pay for his crimes.” she knelt down by the table and started pleading.

“It’s alright. Drop your information. I will reach out to you as time goes on. But, as soon as you leave this place, file a case against him and prepare your lawyers.” he told her.

Kate was grateful for the opportunity she got to be able to speak with officer Eric. She was so happy and had a feeling that this man was really genuine and does not possess the same aura as Thomas.

She then had a feeling that she should never have anything to do with Thomas and Liam anymore. Just like that jerk Liam, she a feeling that Thomas was worse and was pretending.

Andre has always been right. Anita was the victim that was been used unfairly.

“How did it go?” Cass asked Kate when she came back to Anita’s apartment.

He had vowed not to leave her again until he felt that she was safe. He had ordered secret bodyguards around to protect her and they had started their duty.

“I just filed a case against him.” she told him.

“it’s good you did that. Let’s see how it goes.”

“Yes, and I hope anita returns home soon. A lot has happened since she left.”

“You will see her soon.”

Later that evening in Officer Eric’s office.

He sat down with a hand placed under his jaw as he got into a very deep thought.

He was thinking about what Kate had reported to him earlier. Her complaints were very disturbing. He knew what she was talking about.

Liam!

Thomas partner in crime.

He knew them. The group that had almost succeeded in killing him.

He must make them pay. How malicious can those folks be?

They now use women again at their own wish?

9pm New York City

Anita had already lost weight due to she was rejecting all the meals that were given to her.

It wasn’t like she wasn’t hungry, but she was scared about the ingredients that was used in cooking the food.

She had so many allergies that she was worried would be given to her, plus she could not tryst those guys with what she would put in her body system.

She tossed and turned on the floor as she held her stomach in pains. She was so hungry and thirsty to drink water.

Tears slipped down her eyes as she cried silently.

She was already losing hope of leaving that place, so she fell flat on the floor while holding her tummy.
