"What happened, why did she faint again?..."
Massimo asked the doctors in threatening voice and they started shivering.
"Please calm down sir, It's good news that she woke up, she is out of danger now... She is weak that's
why she fainted but she will wake up fully in few hours... Please let us do our work..."
The doctor said calmly but he was scared of Massimo, he was internally shaking.
The Doctor checked her and assured him that she will wake up again in few hours and left quickly.
Massimo didn't moved an inch from his place, continuously looking at her hardly blinking. Their families
came there too after learning that Anamika woke up... But Massimo kicked everyone out saying that
she will see him first after waking up and everyone stood outside as it was impossible to win against a
stubborn and angry Massimo.
After few hours Anamika fully woke up, her vision was clear now. She looked at Massimo and he slide
his stool closer and leaned forward carefully holding her hand.
"Don't cry please..."
Her voice was weak like a low whisper.
"Don't cry?... I was fucking dying here every day without you and you are saying don't cry... What took
you so long, I was so scared babygirl, I can't loose you.... Please don't do this again.. "
He broke down in front of her and tears escaped from her eyes too.
"I am sorry, I won't do it again, I promise..."
She tightened her hold on his hand... And wiped his tears...
"I am sorry... I couldn't protect you..."
He said giving her guilty look.
"It was not your fault Massimo, I am glad the bullet hit me instead of you, I would have died without
you..."
"Don't you dare say that again..."
He scolded her.
"I missed you so much babygirl... I love you... I thought I.. I lost you..."
"I told you I'll stay by your side forever, I never break my promises my big bad mafia husband, no one
can break us apart not even death..."
She said giving him a smile.
His heart felt at peace when he saw that smile, he was craving for it.
"I knew it... I knew you will never leave me alone..."
He smiled and pecked her lips gently.
"By the way you hid one more secret from me... You didn't told me that your heart is on the right side,
the heart which belongs to me..."
He raised his eyebrows and she giggled.
"Sorry, you can punish me for that later I won't mind..."
She said giggling making him smile.
"And why are all the doctors so scared, what did you do?..."
"I didn't do anything..."
He said like he is the most innocent man living on earth...
And she shook her head chuckling.

Everyone came in and looked at her with tear filled eyes specially chang.
"Brother..."
Her throat tightened after seeing his condition.
"I am very angry at you, why...."
Before he could complete his sentence he bursted out crying...
"Please don't cry, I Am fine now..."
She said holding his hand and wiped his tears.
After 2 weeks she got discharged and Massimo brought her home.
He was treating her like she is made of glass, he fed her everyday, gave her baths, he didn't let the
nurse touch her for anything and held her in his arms every night like she will disappear again.
Massimo didn't allow her to do any office work and told Mr. Scott to handle everything.
Anjali treated her like her own daughter and took care of her making her favourite dishes whenever she
got the chance since she was still weak. Anamika got a new mother in Anjali... Everything went back to
normal...
"What are you thinking about Massimo..?"
She asked while she was sleeping on his chest and he was caressing her hair.
"Nothing you don't have to worry about anything babygirl, sleep..."
She looked at him and said...
"No something is wrong, what happened..?"
"I was scared, I thought I lost you... I can't imagine myself without you babygirl..."
He said wrapping his arms around her but not strong enough to hurt her wound, it was still healing.
"I am not going anywhere, Massimo...you are stuck with me now..."
She pecked his lips...
"Forever?"
He asked.
"Forever"
She confirmed.
