EPISODE 45 The wedding dresses
MOON STONE PACK
Helen, the event planner was right in the dressing room giving the make up artists instructions on what sort of looks the bride and her bridesmaids should have on their faces. And Helen would overreact over the phone at the question from her team concerning a little problem. She even yelled at some bridesmaids who came in late to the dressing room.
The neat, beautiful and nicely decorated hall was fully packed with people – werewolves, humans, from family and friends to guests and they all sat efficiently according to the instructions of the female ushers. And they patiently waited for the wedding to kick start.Nôvel/Dr(a)ma.Org - Content owner.
About thirty five minutes later, the make up artists finished up with the bridesmaids to work on the bride and her best friend.
“We have just twenty minutes left before the ceremony starts. I just got an information that the head of the epsilon group has entered the hall while the groom and his men are also ready.” Helen said loudly as she walked back to the room.
She had stepped out few minutes ago to attend to the catering team on phone and also inspect the hall to make sure the ushers were doing a proper job at leading the guests to the various seats.
The Epsilon group are the guardians of the pack. Some of their roles are, warding off intruders spiritually, responsible for the safety and well being of the pack. The Epsilon group is in charge of blessing ceremonies. They result to spiritual or magical violence if peaceful persuasion between the packs fails. There is just one leader, controlling the Epsilon group. He is an old and powerful wizard. He has blessed so many marriages and anchored full wolf moon celebrations in moon stone pack and even ceremonies in other neighboring packs that don’t have an Epsilon.
Julius and his groomsmen were already waiting at the front of the hall. They have arranged themselves ready for their cues as soon as the brides and her maids steps out.
Helen’s eyes checked out the bridesmaids, most of them were busy making videos on their cellphones.
“You all look beautiful in your dresses.” Helen said as she glanced down at her wrist watch.
“Happy married life, Hazel!” Alice turned her camera to make a video of the bride. And the other bridesmaids chorused the same words.
“Thank you very much. And I hope to get invites to your weddings for those of you who are still single.” Hazel giggled.
And they all laughed. “You can always reach out to me to help plan your events.” Helen added.
The bridesmaids nodded in understanding and complimented her good works. And some left promises ro introduce her to someone they know who would be getting married soon. Helen thanked them and clapped her hands.
“You all can join the groomsmen in front of the hall except for Meagan.” Helen instructed and the ladies filed out of the room.
“Are you nervous or excited?” Meagan asked her best friend.
One of the wolves assigned to dress Hazel helped to slip on her heels.
“Of course I am excited but nervous at the same time.” Hazel breathed out heavily.
Meagan giggled. “Hey relax everything is fine.” She reassured her best friend.
Hazel flashed her a bright smile and stood up after the make up artist working in her face announced the completion of her bridal look.
“I’ll be right back.” Helen walked out of the dressing room.
Chloe removed the clothes around her neck and Hazel checked out her reflection in the mirror.
“Chloe, you and your team are so good at what you do.” She could barely believe the face of the woman that stared right back at her.
“Are you sure my mate will be able to recognize me with this look?” Hazel joked. And the people present in the room laughed.
“You look beautiful.” Meagan commented after the make up artist working on her face touched her lips with a nude colored lipstick.
As the chief’s bridesmaid, her dress was quite different from the other bridesmaids. She wore a fuscia pink flare gown made of soft, light woven fabric with a ribbed texture made out of silk. It featured a scoop length bodice with long sheer silver embroidered sleeves and a keyhole back and she matched it with stiletto heels.
The other bridesmaids wore a blush pink long silk dress, with a lace bateau neckline and long sleeve.
“How do I look?” Meagan asked.
“Beautiful and sexy as always!” Hazel pouted her lips and blew kisses at her best friend.
Helen came back into the room to announce that it was time to make an entry into the hall.
Meagan moved behind Hazel to help with the wedding dress. It was a white princess wedding dress, floral patterned with a draped off the shoulder neckline and a long, full skirted ball gown that has white bearings. And slim ribbon sash on her curled plait hair completed the bridal look.
Meagan packed the ball gown so Hazel could walk comfortably out of the room. And they motioned towards the hall with Helen right by their side.
