(Alpha King Sky’s Point Of View)

“Rise and bow to the alpha king and alpha queen of Donia kingdom.” Eunuch Cole called out when Mia and I got to the entrance of the throne hall. The seventeen officials instead of eighteen, Old Ben has been stripped off his title raised up to their feet and bowed to me and my queen as we strode towards the royal seats.

“The alpha king and queen are seated, you may take your seats.” Eunuch Cole announced. Mia flashed me a small but bright smile when our eyes met.

“Bring forth the prisoners!” General Cullen screamed out.

Four Donia warriors dragged in Old Ben and Daniel into the hall. Daniel is old Ben’s son who happened to be a very close friend and even relative.

“And here comes the enemies of Donia kingdom! Treacherous fellows!” I said loudly while everyone began to murmur in disgust.

“And here are their -”

I interrupted eunuch Cole “Don’t read out their offense, Cole. We already know their crimes in the previous hearing.” I instructed.

At the previous hearing which took place four days ago, Mia and Gamma Albert had testified against old Ben and his son just to prove alpha Zion’s Innocence.

“On this final hearing, old Ben and Daniel are you guilty or not guilty?” Eunuch Cole asked.

None of them gave a response instead old Ben bowed his head in shame.

Eunuch Cole repeated his words. “Are you guilty?” He asked.

“I am guilty.” Old Ben answered.

“No, father! You can’t say that we are guilty!” Daniel shouted.

Everyone gasped in shock. “Speak out Daniel, tell this Donia court why you are not guilty. And prove your innocence to get a fair judgment.” Eunuch Cole instructed.

“I am not guilty because my father deserves Donia throne!” Daniel snarled at eunuch Cole.

“Why do you think your father deserves this throne?” I snorted.

“My father helped your father win the war against Crescent Pack.” Daniel answered.

“So is that enough reason to wage war against me and also abduct my mate?!” I demanded.

“Yes!” Daniel snapped.

“But your father isn’t the only one who helped my father fight that war! There are many others here who supported him and my father rewarded everyone greatly by making them officials in the court!” I grounded out in anger.

“Please pardon him, it wasn’t his fault. I had my eyes on the throne not him.” Old Ben pleaded.

“Father don’t beg for mercy, we deserve the Donia throne since his father failed in fulfilling his promise to establish a province where you would rule as a leader!” Daniel bared his teeth in anger with no feeling of remorse on his expression.

I snapped my eyebrows together. “Old Ben, did my father make such promise to you?” I asked.

“Yes, he promised to make a separate province where I could rule as a leader and relate all affairs to him.” Old Ben answered.

“Do you have a royal document for his statement?” I asked.

“No, your father just stated it but he didn’t fulfill it because he became so sad after your mother’s death.” Old Ben responded sincerely.

“But he should have fulfill it! A promise is a promise!” Daniel gritted.

“That is not enough reason to wage war against me and kidnap my mate but let us just say you are greedy for power!” I snarled at him.

“You are right.” Old Ben admitted shaking his head.

“No Father! Tell him how his father didn’t make you a king while Sky was growing up when the alpha king was too weak to rule!” Daniel fought against the Donia warriors.

Old Ben shook his head in disagreement. “No.. no Daniel, we are guilty. His father never promised to make me king, I was only angry that he didn’t make me his Beta or Gamma.” Old Ben said.

“What? Why you didn’t tell me about it?” Daniel gasped out in shock.

“I am sorry.” Old Ben apologized.

“So to get revenge on my father, you went back and try to form an alliance with alpha Zion, the same enemy we tried to get rid of at war times!” I snapped at them.

“Now the enemy’s child is your queen.” Daniel snorted.

“I know everything you did, how your father abducted Mia just to get her father to work with you to dethrone my father. Alpha Zion never sent those spies, he accepted defeat the moment he lost the war to my father!” I grimaced.

“Yes, I was behind it all. I know I am guilty but I beg you to let my son go.” Old Ben pleaded with me.

“So he can go and build up his armies again.” One of the Donia officials said.

My expression hardened. “Your son isn’t innocent! He kidnapped my mate! Tortured her! And even promised to take her as his mistress ones he gets the throne!” This time veins already popped out of my neck.

“Did you really say that to her?” Old Ben asked his son.

“What is so bad about it?” Daniel hissed.

“I trusted you.. Daniel! You were like my right hand man. I treated you so well..” I said with a look of disappointment on my face.

“If I was your right hand man then you should have made me your beta or even gamma!” Daniel screwed up his face.

“Then you would have succeeded in taking over my kingdom if I have given you such position!” My eyes blazed with anger.

Daniel laughed deviously. “Yes.. So smart… I would have taken it.”

“Stop it Daniel!” Old Ben silenced him

“This isn’t over.. Sky!” Daniel seethe his teeth in anger.

“This is my judgement. Old Ben and Daniel and his men are to be executed publicly tomorrow by 12:00 p. m for Treason. And this would really serve as a lesson to the rest of you. If anyone tries to wage war against me I would kill him and his whole family!” I passed my judgement.

“Take them away!” General Cullen instructed the warriors.

“This isn’t over Sky!” Daniel screamed as they dragged him away.

“It is over.. Daniel.” I waved as they dragged old Ben and his son away.

“Have mercy.. Sky!” Old Ben begged me.

I spoke up after the prisoners were dragged out of the throne hall. “I want to reward my loyal servants today. Cullen, I am giving you a new home right in the palace where you can move in with your family.” I said.All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.

“Thank you alpha king!” He bowed.

“Kelvin, you have been promoted to being the personal guard to the alpha queen.” I said again

“Long live the alpha king and queen!” Kelvin bowed.

“Eunuch Cole.. you have always wanted to have a holiday outside the palace, so I am granting you two weeks break from your royal duties. And you are permitted to meet your family and relocate them to Donia kingdom if you want.” I added.

Eunuch Cole wasn’t married but he has a mother, father and four siblings one of whom is blind and another was suffering from Autism. And they have always wished to live in the palace.

Eunuch Cole was shocked by my offer that he fell down on his knees with tears in his eyes. “Long live alpha king Sky and alpha Queen Mia!” He cried out.

“And to Kira the witch, I approve your request to establish a Coven academy in the Donia Kingdom. I’ll cover up all the expenses to make this work out.” I declared.

I am mated to a witch, so no doubt our offsprings would have powers because of their mother’s lineage.

“Cullen would take you to the place I have prepared.” I added quickly.

“Long live the Alpha King!” Kira bowed.

“And to all my officials, your titles are still in place. Thank you all for your loyalty to this kingdom!” I coaxed.

And everyone in the throne hall stood up. “Long live the alpha king!” Eunuch Cole called out.

“Long live the king!” They said in unison with their heads bowed.

“Long live the alpha queen!” Kelvin shouted.

“Long live the alpha queen!” They chorused.
