Fear was so clear in Gamma Albert’s eyes. He must be blaming himself for testing and daring my wolf just to know if I really mean well for his alpha. “Now will you tell me the whole truth?!” I demanded.

Gamma Albert nodded and I released him. Albert grabbed his neck immediately and coughed out while I gave him enough time to recover by pacing to and fro the room.

“We aren’t talking about one enemy here.. that royal blood has lot of alphas and men working for him.” Gamma Albert revealed.

“Albert tell me where to find Mia, then I will face and deal with the enemy!” My face twisted with a scowl.

“Even if I tell you the place only you can’t stand a chance against them.” Gamma Albert coughed again.

“They want me right? And that is why they took my mate.” I said.

“Yes.. they want you dead so the royal blood can have the Donia throne.” Gamma Albert replied.

I clenched my fists almost cracking my knuckles. Mia doesn’t have anything to do in this game of throne. “Albert.. I will like to meet this royal blood. I don’t care if I die in the end, all I care about is saving my mate and bringing her back to her pack safely. If I survive then I will make them pay for causing my mate pain!” I gritted.

Gamma Albert stared at me as if I have grown two heads or something. I turned away from the gamma and ran my hand over my face in frustration.

“Finally.. that is what I wanted to hear from you, alpha king Sky!” Gamma Albert coaxed.

I turned to face him with my eyebrows drawing together in confusion. “What do you mean?” I asked.

“I wanted to be sure if you care about Mia and not just saving her for the sake of your wolf.” Gamma Albert answered.

I looked away from the gamma. That has been my thought before I got the confirmation from Kira the witch that mating Mia would surely bring peace to my kingdom. Even little Laura mentioned the same thing to me. So I am willing to take the risks and accept her.

“Do you want her as your mate?” Gamma Albert asked after some moment of silence.

“That’s my choice to make.” I responded with a glare. This wolf is wasting too much time with silly talks!

Gamma Albert nodded in agreement.”I am glad it is you.” He mumbled.

I let out a sigh of frustration. “Albert, tell me where to find my mate.” I stated knowing that Gamma Albert knew where my mate was taken to by the enemy.

“What is that?” I asked with a confused expression.

“According to what I found, the elders table is a secret place where the people working for the royal blood comes together to plan how to dethrone you.” Gamma Albert responded.

“How..” My voice broke off as I wondered thoughtfully. The more I find out the truth the more hatred I have towards this royal blood. My wolf is really furious to know this royal blood who is a traitor!

“Alpha Zion wrote it down in his diary that you can only get to the elders table in a second by dark magic.” Gamma Albert explained further.

I raised my eyebrows at the gamma’s words. “Dark magic?”

“Yes.. dark magic.. it is impossible to get there without the use of dark magic.” Gamma Albert replied as he waved alpha Zion’s old diary in the air.

“Do you know how I can get to the elders table?” I questioned.

Gamma Albert shook his head positively. “I know how you can get there but I am coming with you.”

“No, you have to stay and guard your pack as the gamma. Your pack members needs you now more than ever.” I objected.

“Alright… but promise me you will bring back our alpha alive.” Gamma Albert’s voice pleaded with me.

“She is my mate so I don’t want her dead. By the grace of the moon goddess, I will bring her back alive.” I said with fierce protectiveness in my tone.

“I will be waiting.” Gamma Albert bowed.

“You have my word, Albert.” I said.

“Then please come with me..” Gamma Albert said as he led me to a fireplace in the room. “Please crouch down in the fireplace.” He instructed.

I looked up at him and then back to the fireplace. “My body is bigger than the fireplace.” I replied.

“Yes.. you have the same height as the late alpha and he uses it more often.” Gamma Albert said.

I managed to bend a little in it while Gamma Albert went back to the mahogany desk nearby and grabbed a little back bag from the drawer.

“Are you ready?” He asked.

I nodded in response. “More than ready to save our mate.” My wolf said internally.

Gamma Albert sprinkle a dusty substance on me. “It would help hide your scent from the enemy but it wears off after some minutes of arrival. And it would be wise to not say a word to anyone when you get there.” He gave out the orders for the magic.

“Why? And how am I to confront the so called enemy for abducting my mate?” I asked.

“This substance isn’t for you but the alpha and you are not going to confront anyone but save Mia. When you get back here with my alpha then you can find the enemy.” Gamma Albert responded as he sprinkled more substance on the me and all I could do was only shake my head in understanding.

Gamma Albert stepped backward. “Me sa de ancianos!” He chanted.

What?! This Gamma is a wizard! Why do I feel like he knows more to this matter than he already explained to me? And wait how do I return with Mia when I am going through a short cut? I thought within but before I could get a chance to voice out the question to the gamma I disappeared.
