After divorce, Ex-wife Revealed Identities

Chapter 802

Chapter 802

Another judge spoke up, "Can you share with us the inspiration behind this piece? It's so beautiful and

melodic, it makes me miss my hometown."

Jenna knew that these judges were world-class musicians. She walked up to them and handed over

the ocarina.

Then she began to speak, "I am an orphan and I never knew where my home was. But recently, a

scene keeps appearing in my mind - a small hill with dense trees and my sister... she holds my hand as

we run around in the woods. So I created this piece." NôvelDrama.Org is the owner.

"I don't know if it's just a dream or if it really happened when I was young. If it's true... I hope to find my

sister someday. Maybe I really do have one."

Jenna lowered her head as she finished speaking.

One of the female judges heard Jenna's story and couldn't help but tear up. "Child, I hope your sister is

more than just a dream."

"This ocarina is truly amazing," another judge said. "May I try playing it?"

He tried blowing into the holes but didn't achieve Jenna's sound.

"It sounds similar to an ocarina but still different," he continued. "The girl from H Rovirsa, can you tell us

more about this unique instrument?"

Jenna didn't expect these people to be so interested in her ocarina; she swallowed some saliva before

recalling what Sylvia had taught her.

She slowly began explaining, "This instrument has existed for at least 7, 000 years in our history;

prehistoric sites have unearthed them too! In historical records, they were always favored by nobles as

an elegant instrument for court music-making until modern times when they faced extinction due to

people preferring pianos or violins instead."

"So it's an ancient instrument?"

Jenna nodded her head slightly before continuing: "Yes indeed! It's both ancient and mysterious; worth

inheriting yet also protecting."

"If you like it, I can give each of you an ocarina." Just then, Sylvia's voice rang out as she stood up from

her seat.

"Miss Andrews is too generous."

"I heard that Miss Shepherd is her disciple!"

"That's how it is."

The judges' eyes were full of surprise and amazement.

Just then, a man in a black suit walked onto the stage with several gift boxes and presented them one

by one to the judges.

They couldn't help but open them and saw brand new ocarinas inside.

"Wow! So beautiful!"

"It's too pretty. I'm going to display it!"

"Thank you, Miss Andrews."

Mrs. Ritter looked at this scene with anger and almost fainted!

Ocarinas!

Damn Sylvia! She really knows how to take advantage of every opportunity!

She even prepared ocarinas for this occasion!

The judges excitedly held their own ocarinas; some even asked for a group photo from the on-site

cameraman.

"This is really worth remembering."

"It's so meaningful."

"Can we start scoring Jenna now?" The host reminded these excited judges who had almost forgotten

their task at hand

Only then did they wake up from their dreamy state of mind and reluctantly put away their own ocarinas

before starting scoring Jenna's performance

As expected, Jenna received very high scores directly advancing into the finals

"We hope you can also bring us surprises in the finals."

"You're great! This piece has spiritual energy while also having deep meaning."

The judges' impression of Jenna was extremely positive

H Rovirsa Presidential Palace.

The sun shone faintly in the courtyard of this winter day warming everything up with its gentle rays.

An old lady sat there listening to some music while reading her newspaper.

Then she came across an article reporting yesterday's Graley Piano Competition where there had been

quite a stir over someone playing an ocarina.

It detailed how Sylvia sent judges her own ocarinas and how foreign people became interested

because of it all; how well Jenna performed and advanced into finals too!

The old lady couldn't help feeling happy as she read through all of this news.

When the President walked by, he saw his mother grinning ear-to-ear while reading something, so he

asked curiously. "Mom, what are you so happy about?"

"Oh, look here," She handed him over her paper saying "Our dear girl Sylvie is doing wonders again".

"Sylvia is really amazing, the internet has been buzzing about her these past few days," said the

President as he glanced at the newspaper. "Vienna is in summer now, while we're in winter and it's

almost New Year. Mom, when Sylvia and they come back, let's have dinner together?"

The old lady nodded her head, "Of course we should. Sylvia has been gone for so long, I wonder if she

missed this old woman."

"We need to celebrate New Year with a bang. I have to attend this year's Festival Gala so I can't spend

it with you at home," said the President regretfully.

The old lady rolled her eyes and replied nonchalantly, "You haven't spent it with me for years anyway."

If they continued on this topic any longer, things would probably go south.

The President quickly changed the subject. "When does Graley Piano Competition end?"

"It'll be over soon; probably within a week or so. There will be a closing ceremony where Sylvia will

perform on stage too. She called me earlier to inform me about it and I'm definitely going to watch it

live," said the old lady who wasn't opposed to new trends despite having an affinity for vintage items.

She had downloaded all necessary streaming apps in anticipation of watching Sylvia perform.

"Alright then, let me set an alarm clock for you so that you won't miss out on anything," chuckled the

President. It seemed his mother was genuinely fond of Sylvia after all their conversations.

After exchanging a few more words with his mother, he hurriedly left.

Meanwhile at the Wright Residence, Mrs. Wright brought out some small dishes and opened up a

bottle of wine while urging Lexie to join them too.

Beaming from ear-to-ear, she exclaimed, "Jenna is amazing! She made it through finals and even

sparked an interest in pottery flute music! Now she's practically famous!"

Cody was also thrilled; his colleagues had congratulated him multiple times today alone.

Who wouldn't envy such success?

Although he remained modest around his coworkers during work hours, once home, he couldn't

contain his excitement any longer.

"If Jenna wins another championship, then that'll be two titles under her belt! It'll bring glory not only

upon herself but also upon our country too."

"That's absolutely right," Mrs. Wright happily poured him another glass of wine before pouring one each

for Vita and herself respectively. "We never thought she'd turn into such a huge success!"

Vita listened as they praised Jenna endlessly but couldn't help feeling envious inside.

But when she thought about what she had done recently, she couldn't help but smile again.

She glanced at the acacia bean in the corner of the living room. The red beans looked very eye-

catching and beautiful.

Mrs. Wright didn't know that beans were poisonous, especially their leaves which were highly toxic.

There are two common types of red beans: one is fully red, and the other has a black spot on its butt

called "Abrus precatorius." The commonly seen red bean is non-toxic sea red bean.

However, Mrs. Wright happened to buy a pot of highly toxic Abrus precatorius. The two types of red

beans look extremely similar, making it difficult for most people to distinguish between them.

Vita's hometown grows this type of red bean, so she recognized at a glance that this red bean was the

poisonous one.
