Chapter 384 Jane is Pregnant

In the Chengyang Private Hospital

Sven Si took off the stethoscope, and asked the people in the examining room, "Did Jane hear some

bad news?"

Sally Si nodded a yes.

"When Jane heard the bad news, adrenaline came rushing into her body and caused her some serious

vasoconstriction. As a result, the flow of oxygenated blood to her brain was reduced, and..."

Jerry Shao coldly interrupted him, and said, "English please! Get to the point!"

Jerry was in the hospital because he had to talk with Sven about Daniel before leaving for his work. He

had received a call from Harry Si, asking Sven to get his tools ready because Jane was due to arrive at

On his way to the hospital, Harry had forgotten to ask his sobbing daughter what had happened to

Jane, because he was too busy driving.

Sally looked at Harry, and in a choked voice, said, "Dad, don't you know what happened?

Harry suddenly had a bad feeling, and asked, "What the hell happened?"

"Daniel.. He was killed... by a bomb. Wow... I can't believe it..." cried Sally. Jerry held Sally tight in his

arms, and wiped away her tears.

Harry now understood why Janet had blacked out, and impatiently asked, "How do you know that?"

Sally fixed her eyes on her father, and while she was still sobbing, said, "It was on the news." She had

heard the news while she was shopping in the mall. Panicked, she had then gone to the Leroy Manor

immediately.

By now, the news had already exploded out of proportion. Daniel Si, a legend in the business circles,

died at such an early age!

Harry sighed, and after he glanced around vigilantly, he told them about the conversation he had with

Brian earlier. He said, "That man was not Daniel, your brother is still alive."

He had received a phone call in which he had been informed about what had happened from Brian,

who was with Daniel at that time.

He nodded a yes, and looked at her with a serious expression on his face. Harry said, "How could you

act so foolishly? You should thank God that Jane and her unborn baby are fine, or otherwise you would

have been the one to blame."

Sally hung her head low, and then got closer to Jerry.

"Now, send Jane to her ward!" said Sven to the nurses. He turned off his medical equipment, and Jerry

lifted his wife to his chest and walked towards the ward with her, but without comforting her.

After entering the ward, Sven gave Janet an IV drip. Samuel came in with Felix Shao in his arms,

followed by Ella Bo and Lola Li with the twins.

"Harry, what's wrong with Jane?" anxiously asked Lola. 'How did Jane ever manage to wind up in the

hospital while I was getting the twins dressed upstairs?' thought Lola to herself.

When she arrived at the hospital, she met the Shao's at the hospital's reception; they had also found

out of the breaking news.

Harry tried to console Lola, and said, "Take it easy, there's also good news: Janet is pregnant again."

Sven looked at Janet in a coma on the ward's bed, and while nodding with a sigh, said, "Over two

months now!" 'Jane is such a careless woman! How could she have not known about it after being

pregnant before?' thought Sven to himself.

Ella felt relieved, and said, "Oh, jeez! I was so worried about her!"

"We came to the hospital without even washing up for the twins. Fortunately, it's good news, " said

Lola. When Lola gladly let the twins go, they directly ran to their mother, and each grabbed one of her

hands.

After hearing that their mother was pregnant, Melissa curiously asked, "Grandma, we'll be having a

new friend soon, right?"

She knew that a baby would arrive after her mom got pregnant.

Lola told them joyfully, "You'll have another younger sister or younger brother!"

When they found out that they will be having a new companion, the twins looked at each other with

excitement shining in their big eyes. That was tremendous news for them!

They then danced joyfully, celebrating and rejoicing what they had heard.

Samuel asked Harry if he had heard of the recent news, because on his way to the hospital he had

received many calls inquiring about Daniel.

Harry asked Samuel out, and they entered an empty room and closed the door.

Harry said, "None of it is true, and the man in the explosion wasn't Daniel. Daniel is in Z Country now."

"I see, so what's going on in Z Country?" asked Samuel. Knowing why Daniel had gone on his

business trip, Samuel had promised him to keep Jane in the dark so that she wouldn't worry about him.

With some help from the police force sent by C Country, Daniel and Brian had managed to sneak into

the Black Moon headquarters with their special forces."

Daniel hasn't see where Alex was, and he planned to infiltrate the gang in disguise if he failed to find

him in time.

Back inside the hospital, Samuel, lost in thought, said, "It sounds that everything is going well."

"Yes. We have to wait for his news. I'll personally go there if there's still no lead, " replied Harry.

"You'd better not, we should wait for him first. But, if you still want to go there, at least let him know in

advance, just to be sure that you won't be bringing him any trouble, " said Samuel.

"You're right."

After they talked for a little while longer, they came back to the ward.

Janet had also just awakened, and heard the true story from Sally. Finding out the truth, Janet felt

much more relieved.

Harry said, "You should act as Daniel had died for the following couple of days."

Later, Harry was asked by someone, "Why didn't you hold a funeral for Daniel?"

In a low spirit, Harry replied, "We didn't see my son's body, and I still believed that he is alive."

However, all of them thought that Harry had been reluctant to accept the truth, and had just deceived

himself.

At the end of April, the weather had become warm, and the flowers were in full blossom. Janet touched

her lower abdomen, and fixed her affectionate eyes on her two daughters who were watching a pair of

ligers on TV.

Yesterday, Janet received the first call from Daniel after he had gone missing for half a month. She told

him that she was pregnant again, and that she would wait for him at home.

However, in the following days, she completely lost touch with Daniel again.

May came, and already four months passed since Janet had become pregnant. She had put some

weight on, because she was well looked after, and it was starting to be more and more evident that she

was with child.
