"Okay. I won't stay up late, " said Linda.

Pleased with her response, Anna left.

Linda withdrew her eyes from Anna's back and looked at Lily Jiang. Linda could tell that Lily Jiang felt a

bit awkward when Nelson's name was mentioned a few minutes ago.

Linda was sure that Nelson liked Lily Jiang a lot. If he didn't like her, he wouldn't pick her up after

school everyday.

Nelson was a very busy man. He had to deal with different kinds of errands in the Nalan clan and

handle the office work in the Nalan clan's company. Despite all that, he still would manage to pick Lily

"Lily, I have an important mission for you. Could you invite Nelson to play mahjong with us?"

he agreed.

Lily Jiang was very happy that Nelson agreed. Her face was red because she had run to his room in a

hurry, but she still looked cute.

Nelson went inside his room and retrieved some tissues. He helped her wipe the sweat off her face.

Lily Jiang's face grew even redder because of Nelson's action. Her heart raced. She turned around and

said, "Hurry up. Lady Linda is waiting."

"Lily, "

Nelson shouted at her from behind.

"What's wrong?"

Lily Jiang turned around and saw the serious look on Nelson's face. He was standing right there,

looking at her.

"Come over here. I have something to tell you, " Nelson waved at her.

Lily Jiang found that Nelson was acting strange. She walked up to him, wondering what he was going

to say. He was looking at her with a serious face.

"What do you want to tell me?"

Nelson held Lily Jiang's hand after she came up to him.

Lily Jiang was too shy to hold Nelson's hand. She withdrew her hand at once, as if she had touched

something that she should not be touching.

Lily Jiang hid her hand behind her, but Nelson grabbed her hand once again, He held her hand

extremely tight.

"I've fallen in love with you."

Lily Jiang was shocked by what Nelson had said.

Before she could say anything, Nelson lowered his head and kissed her on the lips. Nelson had never

been in a relationship before, so he was not good at kissing. But Lily Jiang enjoyed the moment very

much.

Linda was waiting in the garden for already half an hour. But Lily Jiang and Nelson hadn't arrived yet.

She was starting to wonder what they were doing.

She was thinking about asking Bun to check if there was anything wrong with them. Then, she saw Lily

Jiang and Nelson walk toward her, holding hands. Lily Jiang's face was very red. Though there was no

expression on Nelson's face, Linda noticed a slight smile pasted over his face.

"Are you finally together?" Linda asked with curiosity.

"My Lady, I assure you that I will treat Lily well."

"You're really together? Congratulations!" Bun said happily.

"Okay. But you must promise to be very kind to her. Lily is a nice girl, "

Linda then continued in a different tone, "You two can't sit next to each other when we play mahjong."

Lily Jiang laughed when she heard what Linda said. "Hahaha... Linda, what kind of person do you think

I am? I don't cheat in games, and I won't deliberately cut Nelson some slack and let him win the game."

"I'm sure you won't, but I don't know whether Nelson will or not. He might let you win."

Then, they played mahjong for two hours. Linda hadn't played it for a long time. She was very happy to

play the game together with some friends. The best part about it was being able to laugh and chat with

her closest friends.

It was almost 9 PM. One of the servants came up to them and said, "My Lady, Young Master Mu is

here."

"Okay."

Linda was busying playing mahjong, so she didn't pay much attention to Charles's arrival. The Nalan

clan's house was like his second home now. He could come and go whenever he wanted.

After a while, Charles walked in. Bun greeted Charles with a wave, but the mahjong tile in her hand fell

on the floor when she saw someone else.

The mahjong tile landed on the man's shoes.

The man standing next to Charles put on a smile on his face. The ends of his mouth curved up. He was

wearing a military uniform in a bad-ass manner. He was the man who made Bun want to cry every now

and then.

"What's wrong? Are you so thrilled to see my handsome face that you cannot hold your tile properly,

Bun?"

Picking up the tile on the floor, Brian walked up to Bun and handed it to her.

Bun reached for the tile. But before she could even touch it, Brain held her hand instead.

"Bun, I missed you so much!"

Bun looked straight into Brian's eyes. His eyes were bloodshot and weary, and his face was unshaven.

"Master Brian, "

Bun said softly.

Linda turned her head and cast her eyes in the same direction. Brian was really here. Charles had kept

his word and brought Brian here.
