Chapter 356 The Death of Amy (Part One)

Half of the car had been buried under the ruins of the wall. It was a tragic accident.

Linda was shocked at what had happened. She got off the car at once.

She was pregnant. What if the car hit their car just now?

The security men heard the huge noise and rushed to the scene. They were shocked when they saw

the accident. The car had ran into the wall next to the security office.

"Come over here. Hurry up. Someone is in the car, " Linda told Paul.

"My Lady, it seems that the car belongs to the Qi clan. Young Master found it strange when he saw it.

He told me to keep an eye on it while driving. Then, I noticed that it had followed us and was moving

toward our car at full speed. Luckily, we have dodged it, "

Paul said with a sigh of relief. It all had happened so fast.

If Charles had not informed him of it, the car would hit their car, and they would get hurt badly.

Paul went close to the car to see who was driving it.

Linda and Charles followed him as well.

As they came closer, they recognized the woman sitting on the driver seat.

She tried to sit up straight, but she failed and rolled down out of her seat.

As Amy lay on the ground, Linda got to see her face. Her forehead was badly mangled. The impact

was horrible. The crash was terrible.

"Amy, are you out of your mind?" Charles looked at Amy with a serious look on his angular face.

Amy was lying on the ground, her consciousness fading away.

Linda took a closer look at Amy, and her heart ached.

Maybe because Linda was pregnant now, she could not bear to see someone get hurt, even if that

someone was Amy. Linda placed her hands on her belly. She seemed to have felt a pain in her

stomach.

"Paul, go find some help!"

"I don't need your pity, Linda Xia, " Amy said, as she struggled to take a look at Linda.

The accident happened not far away from the hospital. The doctors in the hospital would be here real

quick.

Linda squatted beside Amy, looked at her and said, "Amy, why did you do something that stupid?

Charles has told you that he doesn't like you at all. He said that very clearly. He never lied to you. Why

can't you let go of him?"

"Why?"

There were tears and blood coming out of Amy's eyes. It seemed that she was hit very hard. She

laughed and continued, "Linda, do you know how many years I've liked him? Don't you know that your

presence has changed lots of things? If it were not for you, I would become his wife. Don't you see

that? Why? Why did you show up in the first place? Your presence makes me miserable."

"But I have met Charles, and that can't be changed. You can't force him to fall in love with you. Don't

you know that after going through all these things? There are many nice guys in the world. You should

find someone who loves you. Stop loving that bastard!"

Linda pointed at Charles with her finger.

Somehow, the word "bastard" amused Charles.

The doctors from the hospital arrived soon.

They were busy carrying Amy on the stretcher and wheeling her to the emergency room.

The accident had worsen Amy's injuries badly. She had suffered a soft tissue contusion from falling off

a building. Her waist would still ache whenever she bent over. She hadn't fully recovered yet. And now,

she was in this terrible car accident. Things got worse.

Just now, Amy rolled out of the car right after Paul opened the door. It seemed that she hadn't fastened

her seatbelt. It was hard to imagine how strong the impact was. Amy might have injured herself badly.

They all followed the doctors into the hospital. A security man came to the emergency room right after

the doctors wheeled Amy in. "My Lady, there are three people at the gate of the hospital. They said that

they wanted to see Amy."

"Three people?"

Linda looked at the direction of the gate. Though it was a bit far away, Linda could still tell that they

were Sarah Shen and Amy's parents.

Amanda Zhang squatted beside the car. She was sobbing with twitching shoulders. Tears poured down

her cheeks.

"They came too late.

Lead them in.

Nothing in the world is greater than parental love, " Linda said with a sigh.

Bob Qi walked in and told Charles with guilt on his face, "We are so sorry. Did Amy do something

wrong again?"

"Lord Qi, Amy followed our car and ran toward us at full speed. It seemed that she had wanted to kill

Lady Linda, "

Paul answered Bob for Charles.

"We're so sorry. It's our fault. I apologize to you on her behalf." Bob's face was wet with tears. He never

expected that Amy would do something that stupid.

"That's enough. Stop apologizing to us. Your daughter is in the emergency room now. We don't know if

she can make it. But I won't let her get away with it next time she tries to hurt us, " said Linda.

Linda looked straight into Bob's eyes. Bob was reasonable, and he was a man of integrity. Linda didn't

want to make things difficult for Amy's parents. Linda wanted to do a good deed for her baby.

She decided to cut Amy some slack for one last time.

Sarah was standing aside quietly. She kept looking at the light of the emergency room. She was deeply

distressed. She even forgot to pick a fight with Linda.

It had been three hours since Amy was carried into the operation room.

They were all waiting outside anxiously, including Linda.

Sarah found it strange. Amy had done so many horrible things to Linda. However, Linda still sent Amy

to the hospital and waited with them. Didn't she hate Amy for all the things Amy had done to her?

Four hours later, the light finally dimmed. Amy was carried out by the nurses and sent to the ICU.

Amy's parents and Sarah ran to the doctor and asked immediately, "Doctor, is she going to be okay?"

The doctor took off his mask, looked at them and said, "Are you her family members?"

"Yes!" They all answered at the same time.
