Chapter 229 You Are A Fake Lady

Rosy took the investigation report from the police officer. She looked around to see if anyone saw her.

She tore open the envelope and pulled the report out. Once she started reading it, she came across a

name.. It was Jessie Lou, her best friend.

The report read, "Dear Mr. Li, after a thorough investigation, we have found that Miss Jessie Lou is the

person behind harassing Miss Lily Jiang. She along with another classmate paid a large sum of money

to the three men. Kindly let us know how you would like us this particular matter". As per the report,

The Lou Clan and Nalan Clan were business partners.

At the end of the report was a telephone number left by the officer.

It turned out that the report was addressed to Nelson Li.

In the Nalan clan, apart from servants, there was only one person with the last name Li, Nelson Li.

Rosy Nalan did not like Nelson very much.

Soon after that she pulled her cell phone out of her bag and dialed a number.

"Hey, Rosy". "What's up?" " Why haven't you called me for so long, you busy girl?"

Jessie Luo said at the other end of the line.

Rosy said "Come home right now Jessie, I have some news for you. I have just done you a huge favor.

You owe me one now."

"What's wrong?"

"Come home right away Jessie, I will tell you over dinner."

"Alright, I will be there in a minute. I'm near your estate anyway."

Jessie Lou reached the Nalan Clan estate. The guard let her in as he knew she belonged to the Lou

Clan and was a close friend of Rosy Clan. Jessie has been to the Nalan Clan estate may times, so she

knew her way around.

The Lou Clan depended on the Nalan Clan for their business. It was no match for the Nalan Clan, but

the Luo clan was still considered as an immensely wealthy clan by ordinary folks.

Once Jessie Lou got there, both girls left to dine at the fancy french hotel.

"What's going on, Rosy?" "Why did you ask me to come to meet you in such a rush?"

"Alright I will tell you, but first tell me; Did you ask three men to bully Lily Jiang?"

Jessie was surprised and asked Rosy "How do you know?"

"Good thing I learned of it, else you would have been screwed?"

Jessie was confused now. She thought to herself, how could a poor girl like Lily Jiang take her on?

Could she call the police and have Jessie arrested? Besides, Jessie didn't pay those bullies herself,

there was no evidence of her involvement.

There was absolutely no way for anyone else to find out that she was behind all of that?

"What's up?" "Rosy, tell me!" "I think we've been told two different versions of what happened that

night. I was under the impression the three men I paid went to Lily Jiang's house, but she had not gone

back home that night, so the three men couldn't do anything.

"The truth is, one of those three men managed to escape. He lied to you about what happened. The

other two men who got arrested have confessed to the police."

Jessie Lou was furious. She kicked the table swearing and cursing. "How dare he? It cost me 100,

Even though the Lou Clan were wealthy, 100, 000 was a lot of money. Almost equivalent to Jessie's

one month's pocket money.

Jessie Lou knew her money was wasted now and it hurt.

"You should have been more careful and found someone more reliable rather these three amateurs

supposed to be delivered to him?"

"Oh right, now I remember. I tried to get Lily Jiang kicked out of the university library yesterday. But my

plan didn't work out as some Linda Nalan came to Lily's rescue".

"What? Did you just say Lady Nalan?" "Was Linda Nalan wearing a mask?" Rosy Nalan asked.

Jessie nodded and said "Yes, right. She didn't take off her mask; but I noticed two scars on her

forehead and she had the most beautiful eyes, I could tell she's a very attractive woman."

Then its definitely her!

"Who is this woman then? I thought you are the only daughter in your family. "Tell me again, who is this

other Lady Nalan?"

"I don't know much, but some days back my grandfather brought this woman home and told us he was

adopting her as his granddaughter. I have no idea what my grandfather is thinking."

Rosy Nalan got upset every time she thought of this.

Jessie then told Rosy what happened at the library. Rosy was all the more irked after that.

Rosy new there was something not right about Linda. She was just after money. Now by helping

someone like Lily Jiang, it said a lot.

Rosy said "Who the hell does she think she is, this Lady Nalan? How dare she interfere with what we

do? I will not have her living in my estate anymore."

Rosy Nalan had developed a hatred for Lily Jiang, while they were all freshmen at Q University. Rosy

liked a boy very much; she tried her best to pursue him, but he turned her down as he was interested in

Lily Jiang. This was why Rosy harbored hostility towards Lily.

How dare she be turned down, after all, she was the Lady of such a powerful Clan.

It was only because of this reason Rosy Clan and Jessie Lou made sure Lily was troubled and bullied

all the time.

But these girls were very cautious. They made sure Lily was only troubled and not hurt, since they were

just students.

Lily Jiang could not do anything to get back at them; because she knew she could not take them on.
