“Brother?” Brendon sneered, “you’re not even related, why are you calling him so intimately?”

She openly cheated on him?

Ranita gritted her teeth and had the feeling of wanting to punch Brendon. She raised her eyebrows and lifted her chin, “I like it, does it bother you?”

“Ranita!” Brendon was so angry that he used force and pinched her waist until she felt pain! When the woman pushed him away, he became even more furious, “Let go!”

Ranita pushed him away and raised an eyebrow on her delicate face. “If you want to take care of Miss Murphy, then I won’t disturb you anymore! As for my brother… what does it have anything to do with you when I bring him back here? Don’t forget that this apartment is mine! ”

“Maintenance worker sir!”

Brendon laughed at what she said in anger.

What a sour tone!

Brendon held onto Ranita’s hand tightly in his palm, “Ranita, can we talk about this with Shannon together? I don’t want… ”

“Knock knock!” Just then Jedidiah’s voice came from outside, “Is everything okay, Ranita? Do you need any help?”

What kind of help?

Right now Ranita was being held down by Brendon inside while blushing furiously with lips kissed by him. If Jedidiah came in…

“You let go!” Now Ranita didn’t want anything else but getting out of there without any further entanglement with Brendon. She shouted outside, “Brother, everything’s fine. I’ll be right out!”

Just as she finished speaking, she was hugged tightly again by Brendon who pressed against his chest.

“Hmm?” Brendon whispered intoher ear.

And then Ranita pinched his hand hard, “Let go of me now! Behave yourself for now, we’ll talk later!”

“Okay then!” Brendon released her and raised an eyebrow teasingly. “That’s Miss Bowman’s brother outside, isn’t it? No need to rush, I’ll take care of it in a jiffy.”

Jedidiah smiled and, although skeptical, maintained his composure instead of barging in. He said, “Thank you! My sister is not very good at these things. If you need help, I can assist.”

Ranita gave Brendon a look.

Brendon gritted his teeth. “I’ll take care of it in no time! Let me tidy up first.”

Ranita immediately opened the door and pushed Jedidiah out saying, “Why are you walking around when you could be sitting down? Brother… I have to go out for lunch soon so why don’t you head back to the hotel first?”

“How about we go back together? Once the plumbing is fixed, you can move back home and I’ll help you with your luggage,” Jedidiah suggested.

Ranita hesitated before agreeing reluctantly, “… Alright!” She had no choice but to accompany Jedidiah to retrieve her luggage from the hotel.

When they returned, they found that Brendon was nowhere in sight which finally allowed Ranita to breathe a sigh of relief.

Jedidiah knew that she had plans for lunch so he didn’t bother her further; he watched as Ranita changed her password before leaving.

The door closed behind her.

Before Ranita could even exhale properly again, the bedroom door opened from inside and Brendon walked out leisurely; his gaze fell on her suitcase causing bombshell to explode inside him.
