Melody’s heart sank. She bit her lip and clenched her hands tightly. She seemed to muster her courage as she turned her head with a faint smile.

“Jace, I don’t know where Luna heard about you. She came here and caused a scene by falling for no reason. She got into the hospital and claimed that Aunt Freya deliberately hurt the child in her belly. The police just took Aunt Freya away!”
