A Man Like None Other

In the magma river, Jared moved around at the bottom as if he were a fish.

On the other hand, Maurice was watching the magma river and its rising flames with a slight furrow in his brow. He hadn’t expected Jared to jump into the river.

These ghost masks emitted a series of chilling screams as if something was being suppressed within them.

With a grand sweep of Maurice’s hand, dozens of ghost masks swarmed and plunged into the magma river as if they had come alive.

These ghost masks showed no fear of the flames at all. They dispersed and plunged into the magma river. Maurice was hoping to use these ghost masks to track down Jared.

Unaware to this, Jared frantically swam in the depths of the magma river.

Luckily, Jared had already harnessed the fire of the Earth’s core, so he only had to slightly manipulate this energy to withstand the intense heat within the magma river.

However, Jared’s body was now experiencing waves of soreness and pain from various parts.

These were all after-effects from being controlled by Vermilion Demon Lord.
