Andrew was urgently dealing with emails on his computer when Madelyn got into the car.

He turned to Roger, who was in the driver’s seat, and warned, “Don’t mess with her.”

Even though it was her first day at work and she wasn’t particularly busy, she felt tired. Unlike before, when she could rest whenever she wanted, she now found it inconvenient to do anything at work.

Andrew then called Kevin to inform him that they weren’t heading to Moonlit Restaurant.

Madelyn felt relieved she had suggested going home after learning Kevin would be joining them. Otherwise, she would have felt out of place among the three serious men.

When they arrived at Serenity Villa, dinner was already on the table. David had quickly prepared it, anticipating their arrival.
