Chapter 606 We’re yours, we won’t run
Leigh was scolded so badly that he could only slap himself, “It’s all your fault for speaking badly!”
Jessie laughed herself into fits.
At night, Leigh brought Jessie to rest while the baby was taken care of by the nanny.
“Have you thought about the baby’s name?” Jessie leaned into the man’s arms and asked, “Mom
asked us to pick the baby’s name.”
Leigh touched her hair, and then said after a while, “Should we give her your surname, Walsh?” Jessie
looked up at him.
“Once the formalities will be completed later on, I will transfer a couple of companies to your name. Our
child can run the company when the time comes. Someone has to take care of your sister and family.”
Jessie was taken aback for a moment, then suddenly buried her head in the man’s arms, “Don’t...”
“Why not?”
“You have your considerations but what about mom. Our child’s surname should be Lewis, mom can
help to look after him too.” Jessie said, “If we have a daughter in the future, she can have my surname,
and let her take care of my sisters and family.”
“Another child?” Leigh likes children but when he thought of the screams of a pregnant woman, it made
his hair stand, “Let’s not have another, I don’t want you to suffer.”
Jessie pinched his cheek and smiled, “I’m glad that you thought about me, but our first child was born
so quickly, the second child shouldn’t hurt much.”
She squinted her eyes and stared at the man, “Just one more! You are also not allowed to play tricks,
understand?”
“Okay, let’s talk about it later.” Leigh had to compromise.
There was no way to not compromise. Even if had an opinion, his wife would not consider it.

Leigh and Jessie’s child one month birthday was conducted very low-key. They chose to have it at MX
Restaurant. They invited friends from both sides and important clients from the company. There were
only six tables.
In the past month, Stella has done a good job in her rehabilitation training.
She and Daniel took Chandler to attend Lucas's one-month birthday and gave him expensive gifts.
After learning of the little child’s name, Lily asked Jessie, “Did you or he name him the child?”
“I named him.”
Lily snorted immediately, “I guessed it right. How could a person like him, give a child such a good
name!”
Stella smiled and said, “You two haven’t reconciled yet?”
“There will be no reconciliation!” Lily took a sip of the juice and said with an indifferent face, “He dared
to beat me and take away my best friend. This pile of new and old grievances is enough for me to
throw him onto my blacklist forever.”
Chandler happened to be passed by. After hearing Lily’s words, he secretly went to Leigh and told
them. He looked at Leigh seriously, “Leigh, do you understand now?”
Leigh touched his nose, “Shall I apologize to her now?”
“No.” Chandler shook his head, and said solemnly, “Don’t provoke women. Women hold grudges.”
Several men couldn’t help and laughed.
Lucas's one-month birthday didn’t end until 2 pm, and Leigh sent the guests off.
When he saw that Louis brought Lily over, Leigh greeted him and said sincerely to Lily, “I was wrong
before. I apologize to you. Don’t be distant from Little Fairy because of what happened between us.”
“I’m fine with the Little Fairy. Don’t regard yourself as that important.” Lily smiled slightly, with a gentle
tone, “Remember to tell me when you get divorced. I will pick her up to stay with me.”
The corner of Leigh’s mouth twitched.
This woman had a sharp tongue. Today was his child’s one month birthday. Was it appropriate to say
such this?
Louis smiled from the side. As a friend, he didn’t mean to speak up for Leigh at all. He even hugged
Lily and they left after Lily was done speaking which left Leigh rendered speechless.
After getting in the car, Louis leaned over to pull the seat belt for the woman, and said carelessly, “Have
you forgotten something?”
“Yes?” Lily looked down at her phone and returned a message from her assistant, “What’s the matter?”
Since she came out of the hotel, she was busy with work. She didn’t even look at him, so Louis took
her mobile phone away and leaned over slightly.
Lily raised her eyebrows slightly, leaned over, and kissed him.
When she saw that the man still didn’t move, Lily kissed him again, “Okay, don’t push it. The car is still
on the side of the road!”
“Don’t you know that both Daniel and Stella have registered for their marriage certificates?” Louis
rubbed her fleshly chin, “Ever since you took over the Krislier Group, you have been busier at work
than me. Are you not going to bother about our important matters?”
Lily acknowledged, stretched out her hand, and hugged his neck coquettishly, “I think our current state
is good. I am yours. Our child is also yours. We can’t run away.”
“Let me analyze for you. If we get a marriage certificate, as soon as they check your information, they
will know that you are married, who your wife is, it will affect you greatly. Also, if the shareholders of the
Krislier Group know that I was married, you wouldn’t know what sort of means they would use to force
me to sell the group’s shares!”
“…”
Lily thought she thought of it well, and even asked him, “Husband, I think that the current state is the
best, what do you think?”
The man didn’t speak, he just stared at her.
Lily was furred by his sharp gaze and leaned forward to kiss him again, “Husband, say something... If
you don’t think it’s fine, we can discuss it...”
“It’s great. I listen to Mrs. Smith.” Louis took the woman’s hand away, sat back in the driver’s seat, and
sneered, “Mrs. Smith is very thoughtful, it’s great!”
Lily felt something was wrong when she heard his tone and turned to look at him, “Husband, are you
angry?”
“You think too much, I won’t be angry about such trivial matters.”
“…”
That’s what Louis said but he didn’t say much to Lily on the drive back home.
In the past before going to bed, he would still talk to her and hug her. Now, he just shifted to the study
room to work until Lily fell asleep before he gets back to the bedroom at 1 or 2 in the morning.
After three days of the silent treatment, Lily finally couldn’t stand it.
She ran to Daisy’s place early in the morning and complained to her, “He is really too much. I didn’t say
that I didn’t get the marriage certificate. It’s just pushing it back for a year or two. He had to give me the
silent treatment, so annoying of him!”
“Louis is also thinking of your children. After all, the children are also so old.” Daisy made some flower
tea and brought it to Lily, “Besides, he is not young, he is thirty-two.”
“He isn’t thirty-two yet, right? His birthday hasn’t come.” Lily turned on her phone and looked at the
calendar, then opened her eyes wide, “Oh my God, today is his birthday! Why didn’t the memo remind
me?”
She went through the memo and found no birthday information for Louis.
It took a while for her to remember that there were too many things in the memo. She cleaned it up a
few days ago, and it was probably accidentally deleted.
Daisy shook her head and got up to go to the room.
When she came out of the room, Daisy had an extra household registration booklet in her hand. She
put the household registration booklet in front of Lily, “You came here so early in the morning and told
me so much, is just to get this. Right?”
“No, he is really too much to be doing a silent treatment on me. You’re my mother. Of course, I would
complain to you about my grievances.” Lily said but quickly stuffed the household registration booklet
into her bag, “Thank you Mom for giving me the household registration booklet too!”
How could Daisy not know what her daughter, she raised, was thinking?
Daisy said, “Lily, I know you feel guilty about John and work very hard at work. But you have to take
care of your family also. Louis loves you. That’s why he accommodates you in so many things. It’s fine
to be proud once or twice but if the frequency goes too high, he will also be tired.”
Lily understood, moved over, and hugged Daisy, “I know. Mom, I’ll make a move first. Remember to go
to Smith Mansion later. It’s his birthday today. It will be livelier for a large group to celebrate with
him.”
