A Flash Marriage Can Be A Treasure

Chapter 546: You Are My Mrs. Lewis

Chapter 546: You Are My Mrs. Lewis

Hearing this, Jessie doesn't say anything else and goes upstairs with the help of Leigh.

The manager brings them into the room.

The wedding dresses in the cupboard are dazzling, but Jessie can't see any of them and thus believes

she is just in a boutique.

"Little fairy, take a point." Leigh grabs Jessie's hand and whispers in her ear, "There are clothes on both

sides. You point at one or two, try them on and I'll pay the bill and take you out."

"Just some clothes. All up to you."

"I don't have good taste. I don't know what style you like. Perhaps your random choices will be even

better than my deliberate ones."

Jessie frowns.

She finds Leigh weird today. Why does he insist she should come only for some clothes?

Leigh asks her for one more time, so Jessie asks him to describe the clothes for her, and then she

makes her choices.

At the same time, Leigh serves as Jessica's eye and helps her to pick out the wedding dresses; the

manager stands beside them and calls the photography team at once.

After they both enter the fitting room, a group of people sneaked in.

"Isn't that Mr. Leigh?" The photographer glanced at the fitting room and whispered to the manager, "But

why is he taking wedding photos with his wife so secretly?"

The manager glared at him, "That's none of your business! I thought you've paid well to do your job. All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.

Set the scene while they are getting dressed. Quietly, all in secret. Not even a word."

Photographer shut his mouth.

After all, the price Leigh offered was really high, so the photographer quickly stopped his gossips and

ordered his colleagues to set up the scene.

Just as the camera has been installed, the door to the fitting room opens.

The photographer passes the video recorder on to his coworker and tells them to take the VCR all

along, while he sneaks up on them with his camera and takes pictures of them from various

perspectives.

"This dress is so heavy that it's hard to walk with it. Can anyone wear it out?"

"It's an evening gown."

"I thought we were buying a few clothes. Why an evening gown?"

"You picked it out yourself. Try it on then. You may wear it someday at a banquet."

"..."

When the photographer hears them talk, he is so confused. He doesn't know what Leigh is up to.

Through the camera, the photographer finally figures out that the woman can't see and Leigh is always

beside her.

The photographer is in a daze when he finds Leigh suddenly turn to look at the camera. His eyes are

gloomy and make a gesture to him.

He has a sudden chill and he nods at once to show that he will keep quiet.

After Jessie knows that it is a gown, she wants to get rid of it as soon as possible, but Leigh doesn't let

her. He says that it is pretty, and asks the manager to get a pair of shoes to match the gown.

Leigh takes her for a few steps. He wants to know whether she feels comfortable in the shoes or not. If

she does, then he'll take them as well.

Leigh lifts her up to get changed when she gets tired.

Jessie has to change her clothes one more time. This time it is a much lighter one.

She feels the fabric of her clothes. It seems to be made of yarn, with diamonds on it. It doesn't seem to

be a daily outfit, either.

She is again taken out by Leigh for a few more minutes and finally gets her own clothes back.

"I'll take them all"

"Sure thing," the manager says, "These all look nice on Mrs. Lewis."

Jessie listens quietly and doesn't reply. When Leigh crosses his arm around her waist, she follows him

carefully and leaves.

Suddenly, something smashes onto the ground and made a noise.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry."

When Jessie realizes that it is a man, she stops and says, "Is there anyone else there?"

"Yes." Leigh glances at the man in displeasure and says softly, "It's just the clerk who brought the

clothes up."

Jessie doesn't doubt anything else.

After Leigh leaves with Jessie, the manager heaves a sigh of relief and immediately scolds the

photographer, "Didn't I tell you guys to be careful? You nearly made a huge mistake!"

"He didn't mean to." The photographer says, "Besides, this is our first time to do something like this. No

talking while taking photos! What is Mr. Leigh up to after all?"

The manager says unhappily, "Go take care of the photos and VCR at once and send them to Mr.

Leigh ASAP!"

Then she hurries to walk away.

The photographer rubs his head in puzzlement, then quickly starts to proceed with the photos.

After coming out of the studio, Leigh carries Jessie into the car and sits down with her.

He tells the driver to return to Tourmaline Community and takes out two marriage certificates from his

file bag.

Leigh flips through one of them and sees the names of both himself and Jessie, a photo of them, and

the date of their marriage.

The date is stamped with the seal of the Civil Affairs Bureau, proving that they are lawfully married.

He looks at the ring on his ring finger again.

Jessie pays a coin respectively at the Civil Affairs Bureau, for picking out a ring and for taking wedding

photos.

As long as she pays, he isn't forcing her to marry him after all. It shows that she marries him voluntarily.

Leigh cautiously puts the two marriage certificates back in his folder, holds Jessie's hand, and kisses

her, "You'll be my Mrs. Lewis for the rest of life. You're all mine."

'You are MY Mrs. Lewis.'

Jessie tries to get her hand back but she failed because he holds it too tightly.

Shortly after Leigh and Jessie return to Tourmaline Villa, the people from the studio also send the

wedding photos and some other items there.

Leigh says that he needs to get something done. He asks the maids to stay with Jessie for some time

while he brings some people upstairs, telling them to hang the huge wedding photo on the wall behind

the bed.

He checks the VCR and the two thick books of wedding photos.

The photographer does a good job. Leigh is either supporting Jessie or talking to her in those photos.

They look intimate and much in love as if they were really taking wedding photos.

The photographer wipes away his sweat when he and his coworker finally hung the huge wedding

photo on the wall.

"Mr. Leigh, does it work for you this way?"

Leigh gazes at the wedding photo on the wall. In the photo, he is kneeling down on one knee and

helping Jessie with her shoes.

It is his favorite and the photographer does a great job.

"It does. Leave it right there," Leigh takes a stack of money from the drawer and gives it to the

photographer. "Thank you."

The photographer is flattered and takes the money," Mr. Leigh, you're welcome."

Although Jessie is sitting in the living room, she can still hear the sounds of noise from men, wandering

and talking.

She thought it is someone from the company who comes to find Leigh. After all, he doesn't go to the

company today.

During dinner tonight, she asks Leigh, "Are you in the middle of something? I think someone has

visited you."

"Yes, I signed a few documents and asked them to take them away."

Jessie takes a bite of rice and slowly says, "If you're occupied, just go to the company more often. I ...

I'll stay at home obediently and won't run away."

Just as she's done speaking, a loud bang came from beside her.

It sounds like Leigh smashing his chopsticks onto the table, causing Jessie to tremble in fear.

"Yes, I'm sorry." Jessie's lips tremble and her voice is low.

"It's OK. I didn't hold the chopsticks tight." Leigh is afraid that he may lose control if he stays anymore.

He pushes the chair aside and stands up, "Tell the maid what you want to eat. I need to see something

done in the study."

Hearing the increasingly blurry sound of footsteps, Jessie hurriedly says, "I have behaved well today

and you said that you would let Uncle and Aunt come to see me tomorrow..."

"Well, let's talk about it tomorrow, shall we?" Leigh interrupts her and the sound of footsteps gradually

disappears.

Jessie lowers her head and eats a mouthful of rice, but it is like chewing wax.
