[ Few months after delivery ]
Amelia POV
The way Bryan always behave to the baby made me to know he would play a good father role to my little baby girl Emily. His always up to know her where about and every single thing about her, which made his father anger more visible to everyone . But still Bryan wasn’t all concerned about his father anger but my baby.
” Where’s Emily?” I was still busy with my laptop when Mr Smith barged into the room asking me a question that I wasn’t expecting from him.
” Morning, Father” I immediately dropped my laptop to the bed and stood up from the end where I stood up .
” Hmmmm,” he quickly reacted to me as he gazed around the whole keeping me on a cool suspense at that time with questions running through my head .” Why does he wanna see, Emily?” I asked myself still looking at him while he just didn’t concernate on me but his quest.
” Where’s Emily!” He asked with a kind of loud tune to me, as I just behaved werid immediately still gazing at him with no words from me at that point.
His recent character to me and Bryan since the day Emily was born , is just something bi couldn’t say to anyone, his excess rudeness and always anger towards me and Bryan plus the baby is so much high.
” Where’s Bryan?” He asked looking at me , using his eye to give me a nasty look .
” His out” I replied .
Myself and him just looked at each other for a while with no words to each other. I gave a slight bow immediately to him still thinking both in the negative and positive things that he might want to do to me at that point.
Soon, the whole slience was immediately distracted with the loud cry of Emily from the other room.
” Sorry, but I have to go see my baby now” I Said to him before I made my way outside of the room with no smile but just a bright face.
As I walked out of the room approaching Emily’s room, I felt someone was following me gently. I just, couldn’t look back at that time but just opened up the door. As I opened the door to walk in , I felt a push from behind making me to almost fall down immediately.
” Hey,” I reacted looking up to the direction of the baby criddle .
” Ohhh,” I smiled noticing it was Mr Smith.
He just looked Back to me as I smiled to him. Soon I saw him with my baby girl who carried so tight in his arms. I smiled but wasn’t comfortable with him with my baby at that point.
” Do you know, when Bryan was still a baby I usually hold him so tight so like this” Mr Smith smiled while saying those words to him while I stood at the room corner just looking at my baby and her grand Father.
” That awesome ” I smiled.
” Dadda” the little baby voice caused a big laugh between myself and Mr Smith. She held on his little beard pulling it with her little arms.
” Emily,” I approached him stretching my hands toward my baby which she also stretching her hands accepting me with an happy excitement to me.
I held on her soft chick with a smile ” that your grandpa so don’t be rude to him” I said looking at her and Mr Smith with a smile.
Just as the whole grandfather and grandchild was still on going , Mr Smith newly formed words to me caught me on a spot still looking with no answer to offer at that point.
” How’s Dae?” This questions really caught me down with a chill down my spine.
” Father, why asking me about him?” I asked with curiosity and stammering voice still looking at him with both smile and frown .
” I just felt like asking, since you both always had times together” he still played with the baby while he asked me questions. He didn’t even give me a look but kept on playing with the baby he already carried back on his arms.
” No , Father” I smiled with my heart racing so fast .
” How sure are you that you aren’t lying to me?” My mouth immediately ran out of words at that particular time with me stammering at that point .Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.
” Sir… Sir ” i stammered my words to him still thinking if what words to say to him while my heart boil in guilt .
Still thinking of my next action and what words to say, my heart still racing fast , my head getting hard with clearly no lie to tell him.
” No words” he gave a little chuckle to me while I just looked at him with so much anxiety and swelling palm.
I looked at him still a shut mouth and no words from me .
