I walked into the house and I had to call the woman who calls herself my wife 2 times before she deemed it fit to answer me. Well, to hell with her.

“What the hell is wrong with you?” She shouted at me as she came downstairs.

Good, that is the mood I want her to be in. The angrier she is, the better she will assimilation what I tell her and acts upon it.

“Or better still, convince your old man to release 30% of the company shares. Either way, it’s a win win.”

Narrator’s POV

When Alexander came out of the house, he looked around and saw that the driver had left already. To hell with the review. He is going to give him a very bad review.

He hopes that Emily works fast so that he can leave the city before Alexio finds out that he is still here.

He has indeed changed over the years. Alexio used to be careful around him and always giving him what he wants. Not because he is afraid of him but because he loves him. They love each other.

But he has pushed Alexio so much in the last 10 years now. Alexander is the cause of the distance and bad blood between the brothers

Despite their differences in character, they had stayed together. With Alexander creating mess everywhere he goes and Alexio cleaning up his mess after him.

On many occasions, Alexio has pleaded with him to change and he also wanted to change but he kept finding it hard to change. This continued till that fateful night.

He could still vividly remember that night. That was the last time they saw themselves, till today. Alexio has sworn not to have anything to do with him any more since then.

What really happened has not been his fault but Alexio has had enough of him already. He refused to hear any explanation from him and so he the inseparable brother had gone their separate ways.

Alexio had done his best to cater for him even though he still refused to see him.

When Alexander heard that Alexio was moving to New York City, he had determined to settle things between them but he had to mess it all up due to his greed.

Shit!!! He cussed. He could not go back inside. Not after all that just transpired. He stepped out of the compound and to the road and that was when it happened.

Immediately, he stepped to the main road, he was blindfolded and gagged and pushed into a moving van. He was shocked and tried to fight them. But it happened so quickly that he had no chance to fight it. He quickly fell unconscious on the floor of the moving van.

Alexander Pierce’s POV

I woke up to find myself tied to a chair. I was still blindfolded but I could hear the voices of people moving around. I groaned at the pain in my wrist and mouth which was still gagged. These guys were not gentle at all.

“O you’re awake Mr. Pierce. Good, “an unfamiliar voice said. “Yes boss. He’s awake now… okay boss.” He seems to be on the phone with someone I guess.

The blindfold was removed and so was the gag on my mouth. I winced trying to get my eyes to get accustomed to the bright light in the room. It was an unfamiliar place. My eyes hurt from being blindfolded for a long time. So I closed it back then I moved to closing and opening it at intervals.

Not long after, a man came in and the guys around all stood up to greet him. I opened my eyes to see who it was and it turned out to be Michael.

“You bastard.” He used and betrayed me after I had put my trust in him. I looked at him with great contempt and he smirked when he saw the way I looked at him. “I trusted you.”

“You signed an agreement Alexander and you’re already breaching it in just an hour. Does that not make you a worse person?”

“I was coerced into signing that agreement. I can’t leave this town more broke than I came into it.”

“Well, you should have pleaded with your brother to help you out there. Then maybe this would not have happened.”

He signaled to the guys around and they all held me down.

“What are you doing? What do you think you’re doing?” I shouted at them but they were too powerful and I could not resist much.

Michael came close to me and held a knife to my face. He smirked and said

“I am only going to make you not claim to be Alexio Pierce anymore. You guys look so much alike. I’m just going to make a clean small cut here to differentiate you both. It is the best gift you deserve. Don’t you think so?”

“No no Mike, let’s talk this out.”

“Shit man. I hate it when people call me ‘Mike’. Don’t you know that?” Michael shouted furiously. “Hold him tight.” He came forward again and held the knife up.
