You Are My Mr Right

Chapter 904: Not Caring

Orion casually grabbed a tissue from the table and wiped his mouth.

Seeing that the clock had already struck eleven, but the child’s crying had intensified.

Especially after Vivian went in, Star’s crying became louder.

It should be because Luna mentioned that it was time to change the diaper, and after changing it, she would need to soothe him to sleep.

Orion frowned and looked at Luna with some hesitation.

He wanted her to stay, they had agreed before that she would stay here to take care of the child, but he didn’t know how to ask.

He was afraid that she would be upset if he said it.

Clearly, she lived nearby but didn’t want to tell him the exact location, probably not wanting to be disturbed.

Luna saw the conflict in Orion’s eyes.

Actually, she was willing to stay.

As long as it was good for the child, she would do anything.

“Mr. Russo?”

Seeing Orion spacing out, Vivian walked over with a professional smile.

Seeing Vivian finally leave the nursery, Luna swiftly changed Star’s diaper.

“Kelsey Silverton, can you stay tonight to take care of Star?”

“The guest room is ready, just let me know if you need anything.”

Luna paused in her diaper-changing actions, surprised that Orion asked her to stay.

She thought Orion would ask her to leave after this assistant’s meal, thinking that people are forgetful.

But seeing this, Orion did care about the child.

At least, in the battle between the child and the woman, Orion chose the child.

Thinking of this, Luna felt strangely relieved.

“Okay, Mr. Russo, I won’t disturb you tonight.”

As she agreed, Luna continued to clean up after Star’s diaper change.

The child’s excrement had a bit of a smell.

But Luna was used to it long ago, having encountered things far worse.

But Vivian, in a short skirt, couldn’t stand it.

As Luna passed by her, Vivian subconsciously squeezed her legs and leaned forward.

Luna, busy with her task, didn’t notice.

But Orion’s eyes didn’t miss Vivian’s subtle move.

Recalling Vivian’s enthusiastic attitude towards the child earlier, it was probably just because of his status.

“There’s no need to worry about disturbing me, I’ll pay you for overtime tonight.”

Luna nodded, not caring about the pay at all.

“Vivian, come with me to the study.”

Upon hearing that they were going to the study, Vivian couldn’t help but quicken her pace.

She had never been to Mr. Russo’s study before.

Watching the two go upstairs, Luna sighed.

Soon after, she heard the baby’s crying, so she hurried in to comfort him.

“Good boy, is the new diaper a little uncomfortable?”

As Luna spoke to the child, she adjusted the position of the diaper to make Star more comfortable.

Just a moment of anxiety led her to use the customized diaper brought by Vivian.

But children are the most sensitive, and Star had not yet adjusted to this new type of diaper.

“Don’t cry, don’t cry, Auntie will make you feel better soon.”

“Good girl!”

As Luna patted Star and talked to her, her goal was to reassure her that she wasn’t alone and didn’t need to be afraid.

Seeing her daughter cry so heartbreakingly, Luna felt the most pain.

But after her adjustments, Star gradually calmed down.

With Star quieted down, her small pouting mouth made Luna want to kiss her.

But Luna restrained herself; she was in Orion’s house now. This belongs © NôvelDra/ma.Org.

No matter what, she had to control herself.

She gently placed Star in the crib.

The entire nursery exuded a peaceful atmosphere.

Luna hoped that time would stop here forever.

Compared to Luna’s calm atmosphere, things were rapidly cooling down on Orion’s side.

“Your visit today wasn’t just about delivering a meal, was it?”

Although Vivian was his assistant, she didn’t need to be involved in the boss’s personal schedule.

And today, Vivian brought so many baby items and kept observing Kelsey Silverton from time to time.

Orion noticed all of this but didn’t want to reveal Vivian’s intentions in front of Kelsey Silverton.

Orion’s study was arranged extremely simply, with a row of bookshelves and a desk in the center.

Currently, Vivian stood opposite Orion, looking at the coldness in his eyes.

She suddenly felt a little flustered, unsure of what had raised Orion’s suspicion.

Just a while ago, everything was fine during their meal, and now he was suspicious of her.

“Mr. Russo, I simply wanted to show my concern for you.”

“I know you had a sleepless night due to taking care of the child, and I am your assistant.”

“I just want to help and share some of your burdens.”

Vivian’s words were sincere, and she involuntarily lowered her head.

But in a place where Orion couldn’t see, Vivian’s eyes were full of cunning.

Her purpose in coming today was to meet Luna.

After seeing how Orion treated Luna just like any ordinary nurse, she relaxed.

Even though Luna’s looks weren’t outstanding, her figure was even better than what she had seen in videos.

“Vivian, this is still my private matter.”

Orion cut the conversation short, as he believed Vivian was an understanding person.

She would know what he meant.

“It’s getting late, you should go back early.”

Vivian pursed her lips, Orion left the babysitter behind.

Yet he let her go home so late by herself.

“Okay.”

Vivian had no choice but to agree, realizing that Orion was already alert.

The timing wasn’t right yet; she still needed to be patient and plan her moves carefully.

What Vivian didn’t expect was that after she left, Orion followed her.

Not thinking much, Vivian assumed Orion was going downstairs.

“The car is waiting at the door; take care on your own.”

Vivian trembled inside; Mr. Russo actually had the driver take her home!

“Thank you for your concern, Mr. Russo, please take care of yourself as well.”

Orion nodded slightly.

He saw Vivian off to the car.

Inside the car, Vivian had a mix of joy and desire, eyeing the luxurious vehicle.

She never expected Mr. Russo to be so considerate, personally arranging a driver to take her home.

Her longing for Orion grew stronger.

After seeing off Vivian, Orion rubbed his eyebrows. As he passed by the nursery, he paused.

“Once upon a time, in the forest, the little animals gathered together to go hunting, and the little turtle also wanted to join…”

Luna’s voice was soft as she told Star a bedtime story.

A warm feeling enveloped Orion’s heart, like a cat scratching.

“Kelsey Silverton…”

Orion silently repeated Luna’s name.

Leaning against the nursery door, Orion listened to Kelsey Silverton finish the bedtime story.

Star in the crib had long entered dreamland, kicking his legs from time to time.

After tucking Star in, Luna prepared to rest in the guest room.
