Orion chuckled lightly, not at all embarrassed.

But Freya’s expression was cold, “Why are you following me?”

“I am not following you. This street is not your property. You can walk, and so can I.”

“Weren’t you supposed to be taking your daughter out for a stroll? How do you have time to be here? I remember, you can drive.”

Orion replied, “I can drive, but I didn’t go far.”

Freya hesitated, “What do you want?”

Her tone was not friendly.

Orion said, “I don’t want anything. I just want to clear my mind.”

Ignoring him, Freya quickened her pace, trying to shake him off.

However, Orion stuck to her like a plaster, “It’s not safe for you to be alone. Why not let me accompany you?”

“No need.” Freya firmly declined, “If you keep following me, I’ll tell Elijah you’re bothering me.”

Orion smirked, “Why do you never think of the past we had?”

Freya sneered, “You disrupted my good mood by following me. Should I be thankful?”

“By the way, why are you alone? What about Elijah? You’re back, but he’s still busy working. What’s more important, work or love?” Orion deliberately provoked.

Freya couldn’t get angry over his words.

Orion hesitated.

“Fine, you have it your way. I won’t follow you anymore. You can go!” Turning around, he walked back.

Freya knew he was just probing.

“If you think Luna came back with me,” Orion suspected.

Otherwise, he wouldn’t have followed her.

He only said he was taking his daughter out to give Freya and Elijah some space, but he also wanted to know if Freya would go out today.

If she did, she would surely see Luna, under the condition that Luna was in F country.

Orion looked at her, then fell silent as if he accepted it.
