This is ridiculous! You’re my girlfriend now. Remember it!” Emmett squinted his eyes, “And it is impossible for you to resign! Until I allow you to leave, you will remain as my secretary.”

“Mr. Melendez, I really can’t work anymore!”

If this went on, Clara would feel like she was trying to survive in a dangerous environment, with her heart racing every second.
